Sensual Oud

Sensual Oud is beautiful, and shows how oud can be used judiciously. The notes are so well balanced and blended to create a soft caress of a scent that doesn't bludgeon your senses, yet has enough drama to entice. It also reminded me of the compositions of both Daphne Bugey and Francis Kurkdijan. I don't know who is behind this scent, but it smells like a gentler cross between Le Labo Rose 31 and Oud Satin Mood, leaning closer towards the latter. The spices and patchouli do not dominate, and support the soft, jammy rose. Really well done, and would be lovely on winter evenings.

Dates?????? I ordered it after watching a video of a woman talking about it without checking the notes, she described it as a heavenly fresh scent which was far from that.. it literally smells like those ramadan traditional shopping market on a very very hot day where everyone around you are sweating, flies flying all around ripe fruits and old businessmen forcing you to taste how good their dates and sweets are. Not in my best interest

A weak attempt to get into the rose oud category. In the top there is a hint of a soft synthetic oud but a huge blast of sweet fruit that you can't tell is date. In the middle as it starts to dry it is ALL about the geranium and the rose. In the base it is a dry/bitter rose that gets softer and jammier as it dries down. If you want a jammy rose, I would go for Lush Imogen Rose or Tauerville Rose Flash over this any day and save a lot of money. There's no oud in this other than a note of it in the top to give an impression. It does not last at all.

Very prominent rose and oud, hints of spice and pachouli. Smells very oriental warm with soft hints of suede. Very similar to rosey aoudy Mancera smells. Check out my profile for my latest list of niches for swaps within Europe!

A dark, resinous creamy rose/ sweet oud fragrance. Somewhat restrained when compared to more Middle Eastern style compositions, but very in that direction. Understated and very chic. Reminds me of vintage Lancomes
