Nabati

One of the niche perfume stores in Poland (well, many, but this one I have in mind right now :D ) whenever you order anything they'd put a very pretty matte black card with information about the order. I've bought some samples and the card in my parcel was sprayed with Nabati - the best fragrance in the whole box. I liked it THAT much that I bought it without further testing. There is something so incoherent (in a good way) here. It has so many aspects that on paper don't fit each other but when you smell it - it clicks. It is earthy, powdery dry in that orris way, yet it's somehow sweetened (ambrette? amber?). Not sweet, sweetened. It's warm with saffron and amber, but it's cold with moss, cardamom, patchouli, oud, cedar... It's clean and cold with that salty water and cardamom, yet waxy and smoky/earthy. When you try to describe it though it might be easier. It's a waxy, powdery orris that comes up after the opening, woody, clean oudy woods in the base, a black, clean leather with salty, watery tones and a cold spicy (cardamom) opening. You won't get much rose here, I think it's this watery rose here that doesn't actually smell of roses used here. If you want me to compare it to a life situation (when I know this perfume has been inspired by Dubai) this smells like a black, highest quality leather seat on an expensive, wooden deck super fast motorboat. It's not an animalic, sweaty leather - it's that leather seat you'd get from a new car - with water and salt. The rest of it is building up or complicating the image a bit more - that powdery orris in the drydown, that amber warmth in the base, the earthy smoky oud and moss in the base, the cold cardamom in the opening etc etc What I have to mention is that A&S call this an extrait and it's 65% alcohol - now that's an extrait, you hear me, EDP 80%vol brands? You know who you are. The performance is great - supposedly. Just like some monstrous Orto Parisis I'm having trouble smelling it on my hand after some time but the surrounding can feel my presence very, very well. No problems here. Now the important stuff - I can hear you asking. It's watery, so good for summer use, right? They said Dubai, it's even hotter there (probably). C'mon, summer perfume, right? Well here's the trick. It says amber and animalics in here, and it's present. It's not very full, warm, or sweet and it's nor pissy, but both of those base it, fill it up, compliment it. My opinion is if you're going to an open space and it's not 30C+ you're fine, but if it's not outside, and it's really hot you're going to be the persona non grata.

Jaa, ik heb een fles Nabati, niks geen fake sampletje, wat een rijkdom en als ik hem op doe ruik ik leer in de top, nieuw zwart glanzend leer, Italiaans leer. Meubels, tassen daar waar Italianen in uitblinken. En dan even later ja dan ruik ik opnieuw leder en weer wat later zeker prachtig nieuw leer. Na 8 uur leer en helemaal aan het eind van de dag, lees nacht, nog meer leer die maar niet oud wil worden, gaat door tot diep in de nacht tot de vroege ochtend en dan nog verder...Dit parfum blijft makkelijk met 1 goede behandeling een weekend party overeind. Een prachtig krachtig beest dit volledig lineair monster van meester parfumeur Christian Provenzano WoW, die zichzelf hier weer eens met verve heeft overtroffen voor Astrophil & Stella. En super handig, bij gebruik van de verstuiver wordt je vinger meteen nat zodat je het gelijk extra achter je oren kan wrijven, van dit vocht neem je nooit genoeg! En de prijs is gezien je krijgt belachelijk goedkoop. Maar ik vraag me af of het kankerverwekkend is hm. - Yes, I have a bottle of Nabati, not a fake sample, what a wealth and when I put it on I smell leather in the top, new black shiny leather, Italian leather. Furniture, bags where Italians excel. And then a little later yes then I smell leather again and a little later certainly beautiful new leather. After 8 hours of leather and right at the end of the day, read night, even more leather that just doesn't want to get old, continues until deep into the night until the early morning and then even further... This perfume easily survives a weekend party with 1 good treatment. A beautiful powerful beast this completely linear monster from master perfumer Christian Provenzano WoW, who has once again surpassed himself with verve for Astrophil & Stella. And super handy, when using the atomizer your finger immediately gets wet so that you can immediately rub it extra behind your ears, you can never have enough of this moisture! And the price is ridiculously cheap considering what you get. But I wonder if it's carcinogenic hm.

A Desert Mirage in a Bottle Nabati is an incredible fragrance that feels like a warm, mysterious night in the desert. It’s a unique mix of dark, smoky notes and a surprising fresh, salty breeze. had the magnificent pleasure of thesting ''nabati'' so it reminds me of dior homme.. but a sexier,darker and more masculine version. This is how sex smells literally. Sillage are beyond good, i am surprised it has that low rate (maybe my skin is ideal) averall performance are completely beast! This is a truly hidden gem in the world of perfumes, orris lovers or dior homme diggers would love this offering! I think this perfume is a special occasion only, could be a dinner or a night out. Its pretty heavy. not suited for daily wearing. So in other words, this is not an office scent, not at all. Its a sexy beast you ́d wear to impress someone. So in the end is it full bottle worthy? yes yes yes! it is that unique and performs that good for the required price.

What an amazing sent ! Smells very unique! I could smell the leather, vanille, ambre, and the patchouli the most. It is so well blended and so smooth but at the same time hard. It is really hard to explain. It smells rich & warm. I have never ever smelled anything like this before. I personally smell also the anamalic note in it but it doesn’t bother me at all, i actually love it. For me this is a scent for all seazons, but i would get it if some people would only wear it in the fall/winter. It is definitly a date night or going out scent. If u are familiar with oud scents i would definitly reccomed this perfume. It’s rich, unique, outstanding and warm. I don’t know about the performance or sillage tho cause i only tested it on a paper.

The scent is hard to describe, but if you like dry leather scents with spicy undertones, you will definitely like this. It's the best performing fragrance I know btw. Cinnamon is not listed as a note, but that's what I'm smelling mainly for the spices. Get a sample before buying. Scent 8,5/10 Performance 10/10 Versatility 5/10 Update 1: It becomes quite cloying and sharp on the next day, which isn't a dealbreaker though. Very strong stuff. It does not smell like any mainstream leather fragrance in case you're wondering. Update 2: The smell reminds me of the leather used in airplane seats, but there is is more to it, obviously. Might buy a full bottle.

I'm not a very experienced frag head like some people here but I know a trick or two and let me tell you this one is next level to me. So complex and multidimensional like nothing I've smelled before. Depending how close you smell it it hits different. Was pungent gunpowder at first spray, then dried fruit, leathery and floral then earthy back to chocolaty back to floral back to leathery. There is just enough challenging notes for this to be intriguing and pleasant. This is for someone that want's to say: I'm wearing high tier perfumes. This one stays for a long time also. I only have a tester but damn, I think I'm going to buy a full bottle.

I know it’s all subjective, but why this beautiful fragrance only has a score of 3.74 on fragrantica beats me. Smooth semi sweet iris, a bit powdery but with a very nice and fruity opening. Fresh spicy and just a little bit of booz from the rum this Rum ads more sweetness than booziness in my opinion. The saffron and leather combined gives a very soft, creaminess to the mid and base. Early in the dry down you pick up on the watery notes which imo help the fragrance staying fresh and lively. The base is rich with leather, Oud, Woody notes and some vanilla. Projection and longevity is solid. Totally unisex

This scent is disgustingly beautiful, it should be illegal to be this good! Great longevity, very small sillage, but what matters here is the mesmerizing smell. This aquatic, sea-salty, powdery leather is such a mess in theory, but blended to perfection like this - you cannot deny it's quality. If you took Dior Homme Parfum and completely stripped away its mainstream, designer DNA and replaced it with true niche qualities - this is what you would get. 9.5/10 Masterpiece!

Opens green and aromatic, just a bit soapy But it is this note tat softens and smooths the rougher edges of the aromatics It's very clean and polished, leaning a bit more masculine The greens are surrounded by a bit salty aquatic notes and the ever so slightly damp and earthy oakmoss As it dries down, leathery notes emerge, blending well with the rest It's overall a very clean aquatic leather, very interesting

This fragrance is right up there with the best. Its unique. Strong. Manly. Longevity is fantastic. Projection is off the scale. I class it as a night club scent. It just dominates the room, in a good way. Literally, every time I wear it, compliments a plenty. Even the wife likes it 😂

The iris really comes out on my skin, and I will admit that an iris/leather combo is one of my favorite accords. The aquatic notes give this a freshness that overlays everything. I like it a lot. I've not tried one fragrance from this house that I dislike yet.

Not sure the guy just below bought a real bottle or fake. Nabati has a crazy longevity on skin and impressive sillage. It lasts easily 12 hours on my skin, even more on warmer days. It's just a beautiful, complex, innovative scent. 10/10

All I can say it is a well blended signature scent for me. Salty, watery, sandy, so much nature for me. Great performance, great bottle.

A less sweet and drier DHI... leather note is a pleasant addition and this definitely leans more masculine but not “blue” by any means. I’d enjoy smelling this on a man indeed. Refined, understated and more mature. Very nice.

The scent at dry down =leather +powder+ amber. Soft & pleasant with great longevity (+10). Nice as a night scent for colder weather. Unisex< Male . Try..

UNREAL longevity, it stays strong on my jacket even after 2 weeks. I would only use it for myself than for social interactions.

In Australia, we have an anti bacterial solution called Dettol. I think this smells almost identical to Dettol. It's not a terrible smell, but it has a medical, disinfecting smell that I can't over look. It's very clean and fresh smell and might be ok for a man to wear. I tried this from a sample not a decant. Edited to add...after further wears, it's leathery and saffron type of medical office smelling. I am surprised how much I like it though. Spicy, woody and sterile. Leans more masculine but a woman who likes a very sterile clean smell could wear this easily.

Crisp Davana-dusted leather with an oud bomb lying underneath it all in hiding. The oud is sort of in a “break in case of emergency” case until your body temperature warms up or you decide to wear this in warmer climates, which i do not recommend as the oud is rather harsh and mostly synthetic to my nose. Altogether not a bad fragrance. Most people will think you smell good and different, but not much evolution and the blending of the notes just do not offer much to continue piquing interest. The leather accord is good quality, though, i will give it that
