I am not getting these reviews. This scent is not an 80s bomb! It lasted two hours, sat close to the skin, went on citrus then developed a little sharp floral note to it. Nothing spectacular. Nothing offensive.

A few things: I am new to the world or niche fragrances and I'm not good with recognizing notes. I describe scents by what they remind me of. I received a spray sample from Olfactif of The Good Earth. I tried it two days ago. Three sprays: inner elbows, neck. Oh my, I thought. This is a very familiar scent, but I couldn't place it. Not unpleasant, but not something I wanted to smell like. Throughout the day, when I would catch a whiff, I would grab at my hair and smell it. Nothing. Why am I smelling my hair?!? Ah! Because I smell hairspray. The Good Earth smells to me like the salon hairspray I always try to decline. Hairspray. I tried it again the next day (yesterday). Same thing. This morning my spouse and I hugged, he called me Aguanet. lol At least it's long lasting.

This overwhelms with galbanum. I'm not getting any green or mossiness. Nothing soft or subtle about it. Very steely cold--Nancy Reagan or Imelda Marcos would have worn this. If you don't understand the reference, be glad; the 80's absolutely sucked and this is very much of that time. Sillage: big, 1-3 ft Persistence: 3-4 hours Fabulosity: White House china Value to price ration: okay if you like it 3/10
