Rose Omeyyade

I stayed in a high end hotel in Bahrain and this fragrance smells exactly like the lobby. Very luxurious and very middle eastern. To sum it up this fragrance is a sweet floral woody composition. Rose/oud. That combination is done to death but not all rose oud combinations are created equal! This one stands apart from the rest. Initial blast I get a sweet rose dipped in honey, despite honey not being one of the notes I definitely smell a sweet honey aroma. It’s probably the brown sugar giving the rose a honey effect. That honey nuance only lasts a few minutes and as the fragrance settles the honey note is replaced by a sweet sugary fruity note. That honey/brown sugar can still be detected but takes a backseat to the fruity rose. The raspberry is obviously the culprit for the sweet fruitiness but I cant say that the fruity note is decidedly raspberry, it’s more of a nondescript red candy smell akin to the candy coating on a red candy apple. The oud rears its head pretty earlier in the composition but it never dominates, it just frames the sweet red fruit candy/honey rose and plays a supportive role giving the fragrance some depth. Its not abrasive, funky or skanky, just a woody backbone making the fragrance decidedly middle eastern. Very pleasant. Aside from the initial honey blast in the opening the fragrance stays pretty linear for the entire wear. I honestly dont get any of the other notes in this fragrance as they’re blended into the composition so smoothly. I got 8 hours + longevity. It projected pretty intensely for the first 45 minutes to a hour and came in pretty close to my skin thereafter and projected about a foot for the rest of the wear. The sillage is beautiful though. It leaves a gorgeous, very balanced sweet floral and woody trail. Very alluring and kind of mysterious. Its not heavy or dense like most rose/Oud combinations but it’s not light or airy either. Its dense enough to be detected but light enough to not assault anyones senses. Perfectly balanced. It definitely leans more feminine but a guy can pull it off, granted he’s a smartly dressed, subtle and gentlemanly. The only hang up I have with this fragrance are the gold flakes which come out of the atomizer and onto your skin or clothes. As a guy I don’t want my skin or clothing to be cover in gold glitter. I don’t understand the purpose of the gold flakes other than a gimmicky attempt to make the presentation more luxurious. Totally pointless as the fragrance is already luxurious enough. I digress... if you love Rose fragrances as much as I do or middle eastern compositions this is definitely worth a try but sample first before you buy. I don’t think this will be for everyone.

I knew the moment I took the cap off that I'd found it. In a sea of rose ouds rising to popularity thanks to current trends, I've found my One. The balanced, everyday beauty. The scent profile is what they are saying. We don't need to hash this out. Oud Bouquet, Shaghaf Oud, Oud Satin Mood, Arabians Tonka, Velvet Rose and Oud, Oud Mood, etc. etc, on and on. Yes, in its own way, yes. But here's where Atelier Des Ors won me over... Wearability. This is the smoothest wear of any of these that I've experienced and with the right application can be worn year round without becoming cloying. I am not sure why every other version of this scent profile SCREAMS at the top of its lungs. Loud and obtrusive albeit lovely. However, I am not one to yell. Presence needn't be loud to have impact, and this is what ADO seems to understand with Rose Omeyyade. She turns heads with a soft hand and holds attention without ever having to shout or steal... it is given freely. I also appreciate the dry down of RO. The beauty of fresh and jammy rose dancing together effortlessly is maintained throughout the wear without turning to incense or potpourri as the oud grows and the sugar deepens. It is a stunning composition and deserves all the love it receives. I am thrilled to have this blind buy win added to the shelf.

This is an unexpected love for me. The color spectrum appearing in the main accords scare me every time I look at this page, as I usually run away from sweet and fruity dominant fragrances. However, This is indeed a sweet fragrance, very sweet, but done in a perfect way. It is like a rose dipped in honey surrounded by Middle-eastern-y notes. Like many have said the Oud in this perfume is not dominant, all the heavy/earthy notes (Oud, wood, patchouli, amber) act like guards holding their hands around the honey dipped rose, protecting it and empowering it. And the name of the perfume is giving me an extra reason to love it, it is feeding my imagination. Imagining Damascus during the 1st and 2nd centuries of Islam, the amazing mosques, roses growing naturally in the gardens. Although smelling the perfume reminds me of the sun, I imagine it worn during a peacful night while standing on a balcony with dangling roses, admiring Damascus night. ...... I don't imagine that all rose lovers will necessarily love this. I also don't think it is a safe blind buy.

Not long after I first tried this I started calling it Rose Oh My God in my mind. It’s so good. It is very reminiscent of another of my favorite Roses, Rose D’Arabie, but the raspberry in this is more pronounced and makes the rose even jammier. The brown sugar and pepper add a bright deliciousness to that jam. It’s a round, velvety, bright red rose that pops off the skin, with all the other elements just playing supporting roles to make the rose even better. The Oud is very smooth and hardly intrudes on this rosie reverie at all. The patchouli adds a layer of extra velvet to hold the rose. I love the bottle too, it’s so beautiful, my only complaint might be the gold flakes- I’m not sure of their purpose and I’d rather have more of this delicious juice than some flakes coagulating at the bottom of the bottle. This is expensive but the discounters offer it at a good price. It lasts too, at least 8 hours on the skin.

A rose lovers dream come true. RO is a high quality niche frag that lives up to it's name - a true artistic interpretation. Marie Salamagne's creations are stunning. This is my fourth offering from the house and I'm very pleased. I currently own FBs of Lune Feline, Iris Fauve, Bois Sikar and Rose Omeyyade bc Olfactory Factory llc is running a deal I couldn't pass up. The presentation and juice is very impressive. Rose Omeyyade is a sweet elegant sumptuous jammy rose fragrance with exceptional performance. Masterfully crafted scent that leaves a lasting impression especially suited for formal occasions. As a man, I truly appreciate wearing RO. That said, some men could feel it leans feminine, but imho, it is completely unisex. Anyone wearing Rose Omeyyade will standout. It is bold, classy, seductive and decadent. If that's what you're looking for, try this one out. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent performance and projection. I don’t understand why the floating gold flakes were a necessary inclusion except to tie in with the “Des Ors” branding. I hope they don’t clog the nozzle over time. I picked it up for $86 US on fragnet and thought it was a bargain. The packaging is exquisite, the whole experience is one of decadent luxury. The fragrance on application is a blooming jammy Arabian rose, it somehow reminded me of a cross between Guerlain’s Nahema and Beyond Rose by Clinique, but with a twist of Oud. The sweetness emerges a few hours later and I can discern the fruitiness much better in the dry down. I recommend it based on the price I paid, the sumptuousness of the florals, and the excellent performance, on me 7 plus hours on skin. It’s unlikely that I would have paid full retail for it as a blind buy.

What rose treat! A classic pink rose fragrance: rosey & sweet. The rose dominates, sweetened up with brown sugar, raspberry adds a lively touch, and the oud with the woody notes add a serious, mature character to it. Rosy, sweet, floral, woody, Arabic. It smells very similar to Aramni's Rose d'Arabie (RdA), although Rose Omeyyade (RO) has a better opening. It is one of the best RdA-like fragrances, & god knows there are so many. It is unbelievable that, as of writing this review, 28 people voted that RO does not smell like RdA. I have RdA. I have it for 3 years now. I know how it smells & I assure you RO is indeed AdO's take on RdA. RO smells sweeter, though, which takes it further into the feminine side. A mature, charming, cool weather wear. Leans more feminine but a man can wear this with ease. "Love" it!

I have soooooo many rose fragrances in my collection of 340+ bottles, However, none are quite like Rose Omeyyade. Sugar can often go wrong in a fragrance, but here it is masterfully balanced. The deep, dark, jammy Arabian rose, dusted with brown sugar, is interwoven with a touch of non-skanky oud, and a generous dose of guaiac wood and patchouli that adds a lot of dimension to the raspberry sugared rose. It’s more unisex than one might think by looking at the notes. It starts off really rich, then turns a little dark, and gradually sweetens over time. I’m fairly sensitive to sickly sweet scents, and this one does not strike me as cloying or too saccharine at all. Of the four fragrances I have and have tried from this house, this one may be tied with Larmes du Desert for my favorite from the brand.

As someone who doesn’t tend to get along with roses in fragrance to well if they are a main feature, I was surprised how well this cooked on my skin. Gorgeous warm wet rose with deep ripe but a little tart raspberries. Within minutes pepper and patchouli cut into the sweetness, the raspberry took on more of a jammy blackberry note. My noise perceived a hint of toasty chestnuts and sun warmed hay. The amber started to take over and the caramelised (but not over sweet burnt) sugars and creamy soft woods with a buzz of soft Smokey oudh. The rose remains but somehow blended smoothly rather than distinct. Truly lovely. Very different on my skin from either POAL or Porpora...has a friendlier less dark feel reminiscent of Cafe Rose (to me) ...more sampling required. I may need an FB of this by winter.

I love rose and amber and am always looking for a longer lasting "stella." The notes in this seemed to be right up my alley. I almost ordered a bottle but decided to get a sample instead. I am so glad I did that instead of spending 180. This smells EXACTLY like Jo Malone Tudor Rose, which I have a full bottle and a backup. If I had to choose between the two, I would have chosen this one for the great great great longevity, but I cannot justify buying this when I already own Tudor Rose. Beautiful scent. Deep and winter scent for sure. I smell no candy or raspberry at all on my skin. Just a smoky rose oudy dark scent. Smells GREAT but not unique.

This is beautiful, I absolutely love it. Sweet, sugar dusted Turkish delight type rose, with just the right amount of oud to ground it. These notes remain throughout and a lovely warm amber sets in a few hours later. Lasts really well and clings to clothes for days. I can still smell some on my coat collar 4 days later. I wish I could justify purchasing a bottle but I agree it’s extremely similar to Armani Prive Rose d Aribe (which I already own) It’s almost identical actually. When my Armani eventually runs out I’ll definitely be getting this as it’s replacement.

This is heavenly! OMG! I love it! It’s been in my collection for a while cause I bought it at the end of last winter. It’s been neglected all this time. I wore it and gasped, got in an Uber and got an immediate compliment. Reached my destination and received another compliment. Wow, I’m in love! Update: What a beauty! That viral combo of Oud bouquet and Delina Exclusif, well it tries to become this, but fails! Now this is a beginner oud! A hidden gem!

A must-have if you like roses. A richness that sparks all over a super elegant and juicy-syrupy opening that invites you to dance over a velvet carpet. And you have to dance. A sophisticated scent of rose with a warm patchouli backbone and a unique "allure" of softness and deepness at the same time. This perfect balance screams "class". I usually do not like sweetness in perfumes but I was mesmerized by this dark kind of hypnotic (rose) syrup.

Wow I absolutely love this fragrance! It gives me POAL vibes (not a dupe), but I love this more. I own POAL and find it's not that easy to wear. This is much more wearable. It's such an elegant scent. The rose is just jammy enough and the patchouli is not in your face but just the right amount to give this backbone. It's such a delightful wearing experience. I'm contemplating a backup bottle. It lasts forever on my skin.

Got this during a promo with a decent price reduction. Initially, I was unsure from the sour opening but the rose-oud-patchouli drydown was lovely. This is not quite as dark and dense than other rose-ouds/rose-patchouli combinations - reminded me a bit of Turkish Delight and a refreshing glass of apple tea. Smells better wafted in the air than directly on skin!

The first time I smelled it, the fragrance that could make me fall in love, the quality scent of rose that I had never experienced before... a luxurious rose scent, sweet yet memorable brown sugar, luxurious oud, raspberry, and pink pepper that balance everything. I would easily fall in love with someone wearing this perfume... 9/10

Candy raspberry rose in the opening. I kind of wish the raspberry note stayed longer. Then the patchouli really came through and this once playful scent becomes very sexy. I absolutely love this. It has beast mode projection and longevity which always justifies the price for me. I can't wait to purchase a bottle.

I have an unsophisticated nose. One could say I have an ignorant nose. But I know that I absolutely love this fragrance. In fact, and I'm not afraid to admit it, the smell makes me swoon. Not a beast for sure but a beauty in my estimation. This would be my signature fragrance if I could afford to keep buying it.

I always love the rose-oud combination and this one is also fantastic. It is a velvety rose with fruity notes based atop the smooth scent of oud. It lingers in the air and leaves an impression of the smoothness of silk and wine. And the gold flakes are so stunning in the bottle.

I adore this, I've searched for a rose perfume that isn't too much and this has a warmth to it that on my skin is just beautiful. It is almost a honeyed rose to me. It also lasts for a long time, and mellows down beautifully. The best rose perfume I've tried.

Wonderful - rose, wood and raspberry. The fruitiness completely sets it apart from the 'smellalikes' listed. This is an author's fragrance; someone interesting, to whom you want to lean in to hear what they have to say. A masterpiece.

Thanks to a blogger friend, I was able to sample a few Atelier des Ors fragrances(thank you!). Here are my experiences on Rose Omeyyade: The fragrance opens with a big boom of gourmand rose and raspberry. It smells simultaneously jammy and boozy, as if the delicate rose petals are dipped in raspberry jam and rose liqueur, then coated with sugar crystals. The honeyed delicacy and the liqueur aspects remind me of the opening of Lancôme Parfait de Rôses without the geranium-like greenery, while the jammy aspect and the toffee-like thick texture make me think of Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud. While the rose-raspberry combination here is unabashedly sweet and gourmand, there is also a very noticeable fruity tartness that helps to balance the sweetness, which I don't encounter very often in gourmand rose-oud-raspberry fragrances. The rose-raspberry rampage calms down after about 1 hour, when the woody base starts to insert itself and eventually becomes an equal player. I don't smell oud in a well defined manner, but more like a smoky musky woody element that helps to restrain the jammy sweetness of rose. During the next three hours, it does succeed in undercutting the gooey texture to prevent the rose becoming too cloying. However, as the synthetic woody base grows even more prominent with time, it unfortunately turns a bit too screechy for my taste in the end, even though the honeyed ruby rose liqueur in the dry down is delightfully delectable. I got an overall longevity of 10 hours and a heavy to moderate sillage. Because jammy rose-oud-raspberry is not really my jam, my lukewarm response to Rose Omeyyade is to be expected. But at the same time, I find it among the less sweet in the gourmand rose-oud category, thanks to a more perceivable fruity tartness and the dry woody base, and I really enjoyed the honey rose liqueur dry down despite the woody elements turning a bit too raspy for my liking. If you happen to be looking for a gourmand rose jam/liqueur fragrance, I think Rose Omeyyade beig solidly made, might well worth a try.

So I've tested the whole line of Atelier des Ors and I have to say that "Rose Omeyyade" is my favorite of the line. I still get the screechy thing thats been bothering me in the whole line - it's like woods/manure/dirt together that just stands out on my skin making the other notes harder to enjoy. Nevertheless "Rose Omeyyade" is very pretty rose - aoud combination. I always enjoy this combo in scents, so I wasn't even surprised to be won over by this composition too. Nevertheless - I can't say this is in any way better than the others I've tried and still my holy grail remains "Rose d'Arabie" by Armani Prive. This said - IF i wouldn't own any other rose - aoud combos...I would still pass on "Rose Omeyyade". The price tag on this is outrageous given the quality (low sillage and it didn't last as long as I hoped it owuld). Worth a try and maybe worth a bottle if money is not an issue, but I would really suggest passing on this one and getting few other bottles instead. My overall impression on the whole ATELIER DES ORS line - overpriced, screechy and not well built - or maybe I'm just not sophisticated enough to appreciate perfumery that cost so much and contains gold (though I doubt this is the case).

This has nothing in common with portrait of a lady. And I can see the comparison only slightly to love chopard. But love chopard is much more rose centered than this fragrance is. Rose Omeyyade is more about rose with raspberry and a slightly funky oud combo. There is no oud in POL or Love Chopard. Pink pepper is very noticeable here as well as with the brown sugar. This is much sweeter than POL or Love Chopard. A better version of this is Estee Lauder Amber Mystique. I like this well enough but it's not worth the price of a FB. Very sweet, more raspberry and pink pepper than actual rose and the oud funkiness is very slight. The smokiness usually from guaiac wood is also almost non-existent. This could have been so much better if they were not obsessed with the 15-25 year old age demo. Wearing this sample to bed just to use it up. It's not bad but I will be wearing Estee Lauder Amber Mystique tomorrow. This wishes it was as good as that fragrance.

Bulgarian rose with the very least hint of geranium. One of the best sweet/gourmand rose-centric frags (not rose-oud), in my opinion. Patch stays at the back, and the sweet faucet isn't overpowering or taking away the meaning and quality of this rose. Oud is barely noticeable; however, there could be some dark wood to dim the scent down and add a bit of smokey tone to it. Totally impressed until I met the mundane mid-phase which is less naturalistic, polarising, more jammy, fruity, and gourmand, without being vanillic (like it for this). The faint drydown, though, smells like bubblegum fungi. Kind of sweet, woody, and stale. It’s like the oud is barnyard type, but they use 0.0000000001% of it and has gone wrong. Nothing in common with Rose d'Arabie since oud is barely there.

Rose Omeyyade Atelier des Ors (USD 100, 97-98 ml. left) At first, Rose Omayyad strikes overly sweet rose-oud, amber based fragrance. That's brown sugar note can be easily too coiling and you may choose to ignore. I would suggest you to try Rose Omeyyade on skin. The rose stay fort-front while with hints of spiciness, with very mild fruity quality. The point, the sweetness in this works more Airy sweetness than the thick sweetness from other Rose-Oud offering. As scent develope, very mild earthy patchouli dominant, with powdery Sandalwood. Overall, this is easy to enjoy rose-oud fragrance and this can easily be one in arsenals of Rose-Oud selection. Score 8/10 Projection : Moderate Longevity Classification : Unisex Summary : Airy-Sweetness Rose-Oud fragrance

Agree with @RaghdaN: "All I can smell is the rose, along with a hint of sweetness. No oud." I can't smell the Oud but some woody scents is in it, just not like Oud. ROSE all the way. Definitely for Rose Lover. A Lovely Pink rose. Not sweet like Atomic Rose or Delina. More powdery & drier than these 2. Doesn't smell exactly like Rose d'Arabie, but with similar vibe, Rose Omeyyade is more rosy! If you love rose, and you want a fragrance that is not too sweet and fruity, with a touch of woodyness or powderyness. If u prefer more roses than woods, then please give this a try. Well-blended. Just not my taste but very nice scent! Very feminine. Very long-lasting too!

And here we are again with a niche perfume house with the rose-patchouli-oud trio. It's as if someone said we must have a perfume with this trio and they did. Luckily, it's one of the best perfumes I've smelled in this profile so far because the rose is more dominant and there's a sweet and sour note that I guessed was red fruit. This combination gets the job done. The patchouli and oud are only there to add depth and darkness and that is exactly what I wanted! It's not worth a full bottle because it's not unique due to the aforementioned trio, but it's definitely a fragrance I can recommend to those who prefer dark roses. Longevity and sillage are also great!

Reminds me of two (very good) roses. Fresh opening reminiscent of sweetened Cafe Rose by Tom Ford paired with the gothic patchouli-rose middle and drydown of POAL. Unlisted, but there is a cypriol accord in this that makes it different from the two (I don't smell any oud in this at all, I think they listed oud instead of cypriol). The cypriol may be what reviewers are picking up on in terms of an animalic accord. Overall it is smoothly and elegantly blended, I would recommend it if you want more punch than Cafe Rose but you enjoy the fresh may rose kind of smell that POAL is lacking.

Upon first test without reading the notes - i thought they had some how created a 3D rose perfume - I pictured the bud, the rose and the full bloom in this fragrance. Now that I read the notes, I can smell the brown sugar and pink pepper. This rose is not jammy -this is a velvety arabesque rose. I do not smell the oud - it has to be extremely well blended. The fragrance itself is sweet. In short, this is a rose syrup delight. You must really like rose and a sweet perfume to fancy this fragrance- if you do -BINGO, this is for you. Bravo!!! Lovin the fragrances i have from this house!

On me, this opens up with a strange mix of beautiful rose and saliva. I almost expected the notes to contain something animalic... Anyways, after the saliva is gone, I'm left with a very pretty rose&raspberry scent that evokes a picture of innocence and nobility. Oud lingers in the background at the beginning, but comes out more prominently as time goes by. Apart from the distinct saliva note in the opening, this is a gorgeous scent!

At first I found it very harsh with patchouli and reminded me a lot of porpora and portrait of a lady. This one is definitely sweeter, and more palatable on my skin. It's oudy, sophisticated, and sparkly once it's settled. Do NOT test it on a tester strip! It will ruin it for you, it's best to get a sample to test it out on your skin to see it bloom. I definitely love her 🖤✨️

I expected a dark rich scent but I found it to be the complete opposite. It’s a fruity, sweet, sugary, light rose. Goutal 'Rose Pompon edt’- Van Cleef ‘Rose Rouge’ - Lancome ‘Tresor Nude’ - these varied Rose profiles do remind me of this scent. Personally, I would say this fragrance has better performance in longevity and projection compared to the ones I mentioned.

It's your average rose and oud scent. There are more original examples, but it's a good interpretation of the DNA. Very long lasting and projecting (as most perfumes of this type). Smells high quality, and a lil sweet. Pleasant, but a lil uninspiring. Not something I'd get, but wouldn't blame any cat who wanted it. Not office safe tho. Feminine leaning.

A bold/opulant fragrance for rose and oud lovers. It is a dark and oriental rose. Same vibe of Oud satin mood of MFK. An elegant, delicate and sophisticated perfume for a bold queen. Here, you are in a Palace. The quality is here and the silage and longevity are excellent! 7/10 A color = dark red A place = a palace A people = a queen

A nice jammy Rose Oud, with a hint of patchouli. Better in cooler weather with the raspberry and sugar coming out sweet. Its nice but I am not sure if it is worth the price tag. I prefer Miller Harris La Fumee Alexandrie - in the similar vein but much more faceted.

Strangely enough, this reminds me of Chanel Coco Noir. All I can smell is the rose, along with a hint of sweetness. No oud. It doesn't smell unpleasant or overbearing, but it's nothing to write home about. It's a like, but not FB worthy in my opinion.

A classic rose-patchouli scent that is mature and grown up, but not too vintage. Beautiful bottle.

I never spray my perfumes on my skin any more, as it's not healthy that they absorb into the body (not that they don't by breathing them in though). I mention it because it may affect how this performs. At first, it is a sweet rose, on the fresh side, but mainly rose. In the beginning, this indeed resembles Armani Priveé Rose d'Arabie, but while Rose d'Arabie retains those top notes of Rose Omeyyade, and gets a little more woody and dark, Rose Omeyyade becomes more green and dry (as in: it smells of dried roses). However, at the drydown, something really weird happens to this perfume (at least on clothes). I walked past my clothing rack several times trying to figure out whether I smelt a diffuser I had forgotten about, or if it was some kind of soap after my husband had showered, or just some kind of thing in our laundry room that was leaking. Basically: in the beginning, I can only smell the final drydown from A DISTANCE. When I get closer to it I seem to get anosmic to the smell, and I was only able to locate the sourse when the smell had dissipated enough to only smell it around the source. It smells of... cologne? The smell easily lasts a week... this is the exact same thing that happens with D&G Light Blue Intense. At least, the cologne smell of Rose Omeyyade is quite pleasant and unisex (the D&G drydown was a menace that made everyone in the house complain, and smells clearly manly). I'm not really a fan of perfumes changing smells like that, so I haven't yet quite made up my mind about what I think about this one.

This is just kinda alright. I love a rose oud combo but struggle to find one that matches with my skin chemistry without projecting a kind of glue-like scent. I first noticed this with Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud, a scent which I find spectacular all round, until I put it on my own skin. Once dried down, Rose Omeyyade resembles Velvet Rose & Oud quite closely but I think I detect a hint more patchouli or spice. But again, my skin scrambles the scent while my nose sulks sadly in a corner. Also, no need to be scared of the gold flecks. They end up falling off you once the perfume has dried anyway. But who doesn’t love a hint of sparkle? Haha.

I found this pleasant but very heavy and intense rose and too similar to multiple other rose ouds that I have smelled. For example, the mass appealing oud silk mood, which I find lighter and airer and more wearable, albeit three times as expensive. The bottle is so gorgeous and I wasn’t expecting it to be based on the photos. The glass is carved and heavy and feels molded to the hand. The gold flecks are a very pleasing to the eye as well.

Beautiful bottle and excellent packing with the additional plus of the golden flakes that adds to the opulence of owning the bottle. From a performance perspective, opens up with a jammy rose with hints of oud in the background and then fades away after 30 mins. For me, this better suited for winter evenings and is definitely feminine leaning to my nose. May want to test before committing to a full bottle. Shukran Habibi!

This is a typical middle eastern oud rose fragrance. Well blended, long lasting but weak sillage . It is nice but not wow .Not a big fan

I was given a sample of this to try. I'll readily admit that I'm not big on sweet fragrances, or more specifically certain types of sweet fragrances, but I think this epitomises the type of sweet perfumes that I really find stressful. This first hit practically induces a sugar rush and it just keeps coming. I really don't see the point of bothering to use lots of complex ingredients just to end up with the sickly smell of caramelised sugar. After twenty minutes, I felt like my head had been battered about in one of those fairground cotton candy machines. If you like supremely sweet fragrances, chances are you will like this one.
