Aestas

I am really enjoying this one. At first spray it has this amazing sweet fruity velvety incense vibe but in a modern airy, luminous day spa way. Sounds crazy but it is so interesting and yet very elegant and beautiful. For me the opening lasts quite a while before drying down to a lovely musky, slightly herbally woody cloud. I am a tiny bit anosmic to the musks in the dry down - sometimes I can only catch whiffs of the musk but that is typical for me. Really unusual, obviously high quality. Sillage is medium, and longevity is medium - long lasting (8 -12 hours).

I just love this! Beyond unisex, I think this is both masculine and feminine at the same time. Certainly fresh/floral, with a little warmth evoked by the saffron, which gives it its character. I think this might not be for everyone, although it’s a very pleasant scent. Luxurious. Performance is great.

I like it, but it has that synthetic powdery note a lot of pop niche fragrances have. I feel like Amouage Imitation Man is like the rich big brother to Aestas, though the only notes they have in common are violet and vetiver.
