TREVI from Athena Fragrances, elegant, unique, I hope that the fragrance scents continues around me forever, I’m a big fan for this fragrance to the point of madness, the opening of the fragrance comes with a very fresh notes of citrus: grapefruit and bergamot, and the heart of the fragrance comes with notes of black currant with a breathtaking scent, juniper berries, vetiver, apple, and the base of the fragrance is based on amber, benzoin, vanilla and leather, but with a very light and unobtrusive touch, the gradation of scent notes shows the craftsmanship of the fragrance maker, and i’m enjoy each note separately. The fragrance is a masterpiece in perfumery, calm, summer par excellence, very refreshing, as delicate as the morning breath of the hottest month of July. The fragrance from my pointing of view is not a reproduction or imitation of one of the fragrances, yes it is somewhat similar to the famous fragrance Elysium Pour Homme Parfum Roja Dove, but it is not a copy of it, and with a comparison of the price, the superiority in favor of TREVI, noting that the materials used in the manufacture are comparable in quality same as Roja Dove fragrance, TREVI is perfectly suitable for blind purchase for fans of refreshing citrus fragrances. I have both fragrances and I can say it frankly that most people can’t differentiate between them except for the well-trained expert nose. The other common point between the two fragrances is the somewhat medium performance (longevity and sillage) noting that both fragrances are suitable for summer only. Personally, I’m very interested in scent of the fragrance regardless to the performance. The important question: Will I repurchase TREVI? ... Yes, until existence perishes. Final rating: 9.5/10

I don't know Roja and i'm not a fan of fresh scents. This one is of a really good quality. Opening is strong on the galbanum and juniper berries and the rest of the notes (those fruity ones) makes this blend really pleasant and not too simple. Makes me want to try Roja.

~several global wearings / decant I'm not into clones, because I always feel like I'm just missing on real thing - so (most of the time) overpriced OG, Elysium by Roja in this case. However, in terms of Roja sometimes I cannot justify the pricetag. F.e. I was super happy to get Burlington 1819 which is currently my favourite summer scent - and I need to add that I really struggle with spring/summer choices, cuz I'm particurarly picky. In terms of Elysium or Isola Blu, when you're paying very similar price to Burlington 1819, BUT you're getting 50ml instead of 100ml - sorry, I guess I can make an exception in condition I find really, REALLY similar clone/inspired by fragrance for fraction of a price. Don't get me wrong tho, if TREVI by Athena Fragrances would be just a poor imitation of Elysium, I wouldn't bother writing a review or wearing it. But the thing is it's really good clone. Currently I don't have Elysium to compare them side by side, but I'm >sure< I couldn't tell the difference in the air. In terms of longevity/projection - expect something >at least< as good as in original creation. I don't mean they're the same, Roja probably uses better quality ingredients or so, but shit - TREVI, for it's price is no brainer to me, so after finishing my decant I will have to forget about my pride and get this, cuz it's a really good deal I cannot miss. Even in this ugly bottle.

This is indeed softer and somewhat greener version of Roja Elysium parfum and to lesser extend parfum cologne. To me it also has a slight hint of Hacivat. More precisely the part of Hacivat that makes it different from Aventus. Trevi is not quite quality of Elysium, but smoother and more natural smelling than any of 3 Elysium clones I have and 4 more that I tried. However, all 3 clones I have outperform both Trevi and Elysium in both longevity and projection/sillage. That is a reason why I have 3 clones despite of owning already FB of both Elysium colognes and generous 10ml sample of parfum. And a reason why I definitely not buying full bottle of Trevi. If you don't have any of Elysiums, and you prefer scent of Elysium parfum to scent of cologne, but you're not ready to spend Roja $$$, and you wish less citrusy and more green version of Elysium parfum, you might consider to buy full bottle of Trevi.
