Even if the bottle was awful with those mad colors like an old Barbie girl and that extra-orange juice that make think to an oriental fruity fragrance. This perfume was very unique. Note list confirm. So luminescent aromatic pungent and flower and light poudre. Eccentric for an intellectual sensual woman with a strong man side.

Finally this perfume has its place on Fragrantica, and deservedly so. Poivre, the perfume of my very early 20s as a university student in Italy. Peppery, unique, and I agree with the previous reviewer on its qualities for intellect, sensuality and boyishness. Poivre was so unforgettable that after meeting an ex from all that time ago, he confessed it was the only woman's perfume he'd ever remembered the name of. (Although it was not the only time this has happened to me, see my previous reviews!) Poivre was a child of the early 90s, a fluorescent perfume so to speak, where the orange, carnation, mimosa and pepper notes could have gone well with Chipie and Energie's fluoro-tastic graffitti's wardrobe. But it went further. It became a precursor and companion of the 1990s' trend (in Italy) for spicy perfumes such as Versus by Versace, as an alternative for Calone-based ones such as Acqua di Gio' and Eau d'Issey, and this from Atkinsons, a low-price range perfume house which appealed to teens and young adults. Poivre goes well with leather jackets, heavy metal music and even grunge music. It marries excellently with a libertine lifestyle with its impudence and pert peppery notes. Hard to find such developed perfumes marketed at teenagers, yet this is a fragrance that doesn't disappoint if you're looking for a punchy, assertive olfactive experience. Wear this and you will be unforgettable.
