Amazonas Avalanche

Atralia-Amazonas Avalanche is a lovely modern take on an Aromatic Fougère fragrance. Avalanche is earthy, herbal & woody, (lavender, sage, Vetiver, patchouli & cedar), sophisticated and soft from the powdery yet lipsticky Orris (Iris) & Suede leather. Cacao sweetens the hardly noticeable patchouli ever so slightly at the base making the entire blend an absolute masterpiece. As a feminine female, I am totally enamoured of this incredible fragrance. Not to say it’s “girly” because it’s totally Unisex to me and I cross the line a lot when it comes to men’s fragrances as there are some I just absolutely adore! To those who have never tried it, I definitely recommend it for the nominal investment of $20ish, you’ll realize it’s value 20x if these notes are to your liking. It’s definitely an elegant fragrance, wears well, and is not a bomb in any fashion. My backup bottle is enroute as I write to you. BUT... Beneath the woodland canopy, where sunlight filters through the leaves and the creek whispers over stone, lavender drifts on the air like a violet haze. Orris unfolds in soft petals of silver-blue, wrapped in the delicate comfort of powdery cacao. A whisper of supple leather lingers close to the skin—never bold, only warm and reassuring. As the day settles, faint patchouli, gentle cedarwood, and quiet vetiver gather at the edges, grounding the fragrance like roots beneath an iris glade. 1 year review: I don't know how, but this is my favorite fragrance. I paid 27 dollars. And it's perfect, it's actually so beautiful I don't even know what to say. It's so fresh but so deep and rich at the same time. I'd put this up there with the Dior stuff in terms of quality and depth, and honestly I like the scent profile even more. 11/10 NEEDS more attention i think every man should own this! Edit: It's amazing but it went a little sour after about a year and a half, could be just because of the cheaper ingredients. Still incredible and high quality smelling just something to be aware of.

After about two months, it became a lot smoother and started lasting much longer. I honestly don’t know what happened with your bottle that it only lasts around 6 hours. It’s not exactly beast mode, but my bottle, after about 3 months, easily lasts 8 hours on my skin with just 3 sprays, and obviously even longer on clothes. It actually lasts longer than Kayaan, and the projection is pretty much the same for both. I really love Kayaan, it’s been my favorite for the past two years, but now Avalanche is the new one.

Right from the start, this is a lighter, more elegant, and airier scent compared to Kayaan Classic, but that also means its longevity is shorter (Kayaan Classic lasts about 7 hours, while this one around 6 hours, on skin). If you prefer something versatile, light, and airy, go for Avalanche. But if you want something richer, bolder with longer staying power, then Kayaan. Both smell great and very similar to DHI, but I already have Kayaan for more than a year and I’m really happy with it.
