Aubade

Honestly I'm not a fan of opening part,bitterness of almond and cloves was a draw back for me,but any way I sprayed it to my wrist and on a paper and went away Soft sweet powderyness of vanilla and heliotrope,turn it to a Devine scent!powdery almondy vanilla,delicious!not very dark but there is a spicyness here that I adore,something like cinnamon Musky drydown reminds me stendhal elixir blanc and different company pure eve which I also love If you are a fan of bitter almond,soft powdery vanilla,heliotrope and musk with a spicy twist give aubade a try,it's unique and great for fall,very long-lasting and not too sweet I added it to my wantlist and gonna buy it sooner or later ❤❤❤❤

I'm a sucker for cheap thrills, this is priced less than 20 usd when I bought it online sans transport fee. I have another Hypnotic Poison-inspired frag so I did a side by side of this and Deep Sea Pink on my arms. This one has more depth and less linear than Deep Sea Pink. It's also less sweeter with the slight woody and spicy accord more noticeable than DSP's relentless vanilla and almond. Aubade becomes a skin scent much later on me (around 5 hours) and it lasts around 9-10 hours on my skin. Only thing I hate with Aubade is the black-garlic inspired bottle.

Almond lovers should seek it out, it's rich and nutty. I bought this blind from a fragrance friend, and I'm so pleased that I took the chance. The opening is slightly bitter and spicy, then it becomes a velvety floral with a woody, musky dry down. The almond note is always present. Slightly powdery and wears forever; over 12 hours on my skin.

I swear I am picking up on a distinct, sweet anise note in the opening and heart of this one, reminiscent of the cerise and yellow rounded square anise candies/lozenges my grandparents used to keep in a bowl on the dining table. I was originally interested in this perfume due to the supposed similarities with Kenzo Amour Le Parfum, but I don't really see it (or rather, smell it). Aubade is airier, and first and foremost a floral to me, albeit dusted with a thick layer of powdery almond. I am reminded of La Perla Divina EdP, another heliotropey offering by a lingerie brand, but Aubade is sharper, whereas Divina is juicier and softer.

A fluffy almond and heliotrope scent mixed with a musky vanilla. The only floral I get is the heliotrope. It has the 'plastic doll head' scent that the heliotrope and vanilla combination often create. It's very powdery, cozy and intimate. Reminds me of a tamed down Hypnotic Poison.

Very good perfume. Soft, ambery and powdery. Good lasting power.

Still remember being the first person to vote this as smelling like Kenzo Amour. It's like a deeper, darker, muskier, more resinous, less sweet, yet still too sweet (don't get me wrong...) version of Kenzo Amour. I really want to love this category of scents but they make me nauseous. Too dense, rich, sweet.

This is such a beautiful bitter almond scent on a base which is not too warm or sweet, just moderate. Don't be afraid of the list of the flowers mentioned if you don't like florals. The floral notes are pretty much general rather than specific.They just keep the vibe lively and playful while heliotrope and violet softly play their powdery roles. Sillage and longevity are both quite impressive. A good buy. I'm enjoying it very much. ************************************************************************* P.S. I'm wearing this side by side with Hypnotic Poison EDT and I find them to be very similar. The same spicy, vanillic almond with some floral and woody notes in the background. HP is a tad softer and better rounded but Aubade seems to be more powerful and it projects better on my skin. And it's more powdery and drier, and less sweet.

Such a beautiful, soft, elegant almond fragrance. Strong but delicate at the same time. If you like to leave a comfy, veil of fragrance in your wake, this is the perfume for you. Many women stop me to tell me how beautiful I smell.. It's a nutty, musc, gorgeous fragrance.

Almonds and vanilla- a wonderful underrated gem. I’ve noticed I like wearing Aubade specially when I’m down. There is a certain darkness to it that speaks to me. Also, aubade means “a poem that welcomes the arrival of the dawn.” Isn’t that just so beautiful?
