Cuir Oud Padishah

This is an insanely good fragrance. It is leather first and foremost, dry, aged leather that is somewhat similar to Cuir D'Ange by hermes, but more natural. This leather is backed by a slightly funky oud, but ever so little. Oud is great quality and goes really well with leather combo. It is selected to match and not contrast the leather note. There is a tiny bit of coriander, once again - to support the brown theme. Other notes - not so obvious, but they play their role in making this fragrance awesome. Longevity and silage are huge. This fragrance is in the same line with Ghaliyah Hind by D&Z, Jasmine by Al Shareef, as well as Cuir D'Ange.

Imagine to be greeted by a dusty, overhyped blend of leather and oud that feels more pretentious than luxurious. It opens with clashing notes, saffron trying desperately to mask an overly chemical oud and just never comes together. The leathery animalic tones lean more abrasive than refined, leaving you longing for anything more balanced or affordable. A scent meant to exude royalty but ends up wearing its scent more than you. I blind bought this for $400, but I'm selling my bottle for $300 if anyone is interested, few sprays missing.
