Wind of the Great Steppe

If u like Imaginary Authors' Slow Explosions (2016) but think that it's too strong, then this fragrance is where it's at! The pungent violets and in-ur-face cedar on IASE is something else, but still and all, it's rather lovely. ❤️ This one smells EXACTLY like a lighter concentration of all that goodness. It's quite pleasant! I like Slow Explosions and was even contemplating purchasing a bottle after my first time smelling it, but didn't love it. When I sprayed my sample again the next week to see if I felt the same about it, it left me a bit overwhelmed. This fragrance, on the other hand, won't attack ur senses. It also doesn't last anywhere near as long as IASE. Did I mention how pretty that bottle is? 😍

Bought this one ahead of a wedding. It was massively overpriced for what it was at 200 EUR. So if it's possible to get lower than that or the travel size, then definitely get that I think for me this is best described as a much more spicier version of Dune by Dior. A lot more upfront with cedar and woody scents and the cumin note but very little floral on my skin. Performance wise, it's been decent, lasts an evening but noticeably weaker on sunnier days. I don't think this will be a compliment fetcher but it's a very elaborate scent. It's just at this price point, you expect a knockout scent. I think it's competing against penhaglions halfeti.there is another kazakh Inspired scent I will usually wear called nomad by Parfum de Vie. It's not as well built as this but by the dry down does the same thing as this one but at a pinch of the price. I think you could wear both on occasions and summer evenings. Probably not for work (as a guy).

Oh...I am soooo not a fan. The immediate thought was....cheap plastic, I even thought that maybe I'd touched smth beforehand, but no, that is the smell. I had to wash it off; I couldn't bear it on my skin. I like woody and leathery scents normally, but this one will be looking for a new home with someone who can appreciate it better.

Utterly gorgeous! My first response was deeply emotional because this perfume is so airy, herbaceous sweet, uplifting and grounding all at once. A true flight of the imagination. Perfectly unisex as its slightly sweet with a fougere feel that keeps it flying with aromatics. Shame the postage costs to Kazakstan are high, but its on my list of perfumes to buy. Got a sniff of it as i am part of the perfumer Sarah McCartney's 4160 Facebook group. This gem was part of their January Joy Box selection last year. Hanging on to my 9mls for as long as humanly possible. Highly recommended!

This fragrance wants to reproduce the feeling of freedom you feel in the uncontaminated steppe, caressed by the wind. All good regarding the green and spicy notes, but why add saffron? It feels really loud and doesn't go well at all with the other notes. I can't wear it, too much, too risky and suffocating.
