Cherry in The Woods

I waited more than a year to finally hold this bottle in my hands. For months, I wondered—could any perfume really live up to that kind of anticipation? Then I sprayed Cherry in the Woods by @aurorascents_official, and for a few seconds, I forgot I was standing in my own home. The opening is bright and sparkling: cherry with orange, pear, and apple—it comes across like sunlight breaking through a forest canopy. After that, the composition gradually blooms with rose, jasmine, raspberry, and elemi. Over time, everything melts into a warm, comforting base of sandalwood, vanilla, tonka, amber woods, and vetiver. The notes are stunning, but what truly stayed with me is the feeling. Some perfumes are simply beautiful—others actually transport you. Cherry in the Woods reminded me that fragrance isn’t only something we wear; it’s something we experience. Longevity: over 8 hours on my skin. Projection: amazing—it projects beautifully and gets noticed without feeling overwhelming. If you’ve been waiting for a long time for this one, it may genuinely be worth it—because the fragrances you wait the longest for are often the ones that end up staying with you the longest, too.

I bought Aurora Scents Cherry in the Woods as a gift, and it genuinely exceeded expectations from the very first impression. I bought Cherry in the Wood from the Aurora Scents website after seeing good reviews on CurlyFragrance and wallah I am so happy I did. The first time I smelled it on my wife I loved it so much, it made me happier to see her wearing it rather than any other perfume till now honestly. The cherry note is so young, fresh, and sweet and kind of slightly sour, it’s hard to explain but it makes me feel like we are young again at the beginning of our relationship when we were in our late teen years. Its such a young vibe and seducing to be frank. Absolutely long lasting too! I know it’s unisex and I agree, but I would rather see my wife wearing it than me. Truly a beautiful fragrance from the top till the dry down. good job!

Every time I wear this perfume, people ask me about it! Literally every time! It opens with a bright blast of freshness that somehow lasts all day. I love wearing it to work, and I always keep the travel size in my bag for a little touch-up by the end of the day. It’s sweet yet fresh, effortlessly light, and feels exactly like spring in a bottle. I absolutely love it, and everyone I’ve gifted it to has loved it too.

To me, this beauty has the aura of Guidance, but I like it even more because it's lighter, it doesn't have that heaviness that chokes me with Guidance. I don't know how long it will last, I just got it and I'm full of impressions, that's why I'm writing right away. A nice Christmas gift for almost any woman. I don't see what anyone wouldn't like here.

Got my bottle last night. Couldnt stop myself from not sharing my review. Absolutely Stunning I'm thoroughly impressed. Unisex, a littttttle towards feminine but i think men enjoy this too. This scent got me 2comlliments with in the first day, lingers beautifully throughout the day. It's quickly become one of a favorite. P.n bottle is a work of art

One of the prettiest scents I own. The cherry is not overpowering, it's mixed with the other fruits and a sweet vanilla. Feminine, delicate, sweet but not too sweet, pleasant, beautiful and romantic.

Feminine, beautiful signature-worthy ... but cherry? I can't detect any cherry at all. Starts with a mix of fruits, but nothing is clearly identifiable. merging with creamy, youthful pink rose, with its stem and a dash of vetiver. Don’t worry — it’s not a Delina vibe. could easily be a more eastern take /flanker to Bade’e Al Oud Noble Blush; they smell like they’re from the same family. Performance : Beautyful sillage and staying power. Soft but strong with great projection Edit: A month later, it has become even stronger and lasts much longer. So beautiful and, in my opinion, very sensual. I’m really enjoying this a lot!

It is too early to tell how this will mature. So if you are thinking about getting it... 🍒 The Maraschino cherry opening is unique , sweet and delicious but fades quickly. The cherry opening probably won't become dramatically stronger with age. 🌹 The vanilla, woods, and amber underneath may become richer and better blended after a month or two. I will let it sit in Purgatory a bit and see if it improves with age.

Wasn’t expecting to like this one, but it’s really nice. The cherry is soft and powdery, not loud or fake. It develops beautifully on the skin, turns into this subtle, slightly gourmand sweetness that smells delicious. The only downside is the longevity; it doesn’t last too long. Still, I keep reaching for it.

I don’t get a lot of woods in this. Just a light bit of cherry and a lot of blood orange. Not as complex as the notes would suggest. Slightly overhyped scent. Would be nice in the spring.

Very over hyped stop trusting content creators! It smells mid, not sure if it'll get better with aging , hopefully it does. Beautiful bottle tho.

I bought this due to all the hype and amazing reviews all over the internet, I am a cherry perfume connoisseur, I tend to like just about every cherry 🍒 perfume out there but this one I was very disappointed in, to be frank, it smells cheap, the bottle is lovely and high quality but the fragrance smells like a dollar store fragrance to me. Sadly this one is a no for me.

Not sure if all reviews here are genuine or “bot” like. The scent is nice, yes, but it’s also a generic gimmicky sweet pretty teenager/early twenties smell. Blond bought it and probably will pass it on to a female friend, not because it’s not nice smelling, just would rather wear many other things.

In the opening it’s such a beautiful 10/10 cherry perfume. But around 10 minutes later it smells like straight up grass. I’m so disappointed🥲

First of all, I have to thank Aurora Scents for making niche perfumes and niche fragrances with reasonable price – especially one from my favorite perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani doesn’t have to come with a sky-high price tag. As for the scent itself, the magic really happens in the scent when you wear it. Imagine the richness of ripe cherries mixed with the crisp freshness of red apples blending very nicely... it’s juicy, playful, and just impossible to forget. Huge complement getter. I feel like it is unisex but more towards woman, although I like it when I wear it and no body has ever told me it smells feminine. As of the design let’s not even get started on that. it’s the kind of bottle that instantly draws you in. You can even use it as a decoration 😂😂😂

Okay, I tried this last night and I'm officially ruined for anything that doesn't smell like cherry sin and pomegranate velvet. It opens like crushed ruby fruit dripping over warm skin. syrupy, juicy, and so seductive. Then boom! dark woods and a whisper of tonka underneath the sweetness. So enticing. Longevity: ridiculous (12+ hours). Sillage: can have enough of it. If Hamid Merati Kashani composed this, he bottled temptation itself. This isn't a hidden gem. it's a secret spell disguised as perfume for sure.

Just got this one in and ordered off of Maple Prime. Wow this presentation is kind of unreal for the price! A cherry that does not smell like most cherry fragrances! The closest to it is Room 129 by a small indie brand, The Taliaferro, but it’s not a dupe, just similar vibes in the cherry powder category. Whereas that fragrance is more sweet and sour cherry bubblegum, this is sweet and soft cherry vanilla floral. Kind of stunning in its simplicity. But, man, this bottle. Stunning!

Nearly choked when I first smelled it (in a good way). It's simultaneously baroque and wearable. That weird sweet-amber thing at drydown? Chef's kiss. But yes the opening is really out of this world for a perfume. at this price? I consider it niche. I mean the price doesnt say it and i think its a shame that we dont take the low priced ones that serious. Im a victim myself but gotta break it to them! This couldve been a great hit if it was like something from 250 - 300 dollars.

Havent had this more than a month and honestly not bad aurora. Cherry fragrances are tricky. Not a lost cherry fan for example. But this one is way more complex than just cherry. More to it. I catch: powdered rose, toasted almond, powdered cocoa maybe? And the longevity refuses to die. Do not sleep on this if you like gourmand woody mashups. Not an ad, just a converted fan. I mean look at erica there. The fragrance has obviously made her come! What was that haha!

Cherry in The Woods! This is one of those fragrances that kept my hand stuck to my nose for a long while (the same experience I had with Tom Ford’s Black Orchid). You see the cherry note and you might expect something synthetic and unappealing, yet this one is actually very natural and pleasant. Plus, the sillage and longevity are both good. Plus the bottle speaks for itself. High quality and highly recommended.

I don't know what people want from a perfume apart from durability and scent diffusion. I should say, that was a good experience of buying a perfume but there was a problem which was about my girl friend, a person who told me that I had to buy again cherry in the woods for her. Now, cherry in the woods is more than a perfume for me. In my opinion, another name of cherry in the woods is quality.

I truly love this scent. I'll admit that I initially bought it for the bottle (which is beautiful in person as well) but the fragrance is also stunning. I'm a gourmand junkie who particularly likes sweet cherry scents. Its not a Tom Ford "Lost Cherry" if that makes sense; its more of a sweet candy cherry. My skin also usually absorbs perfumes very fast, but this one did last longer than most.

I am in love with the bottle of this perfume. It’s so unique and a piece of art really. The scent is so beautiful and sexy. I love all the layers of it, the opening is so fruity and sweet and the dry down is even better. I love this brand and their fragrances. 10 out of 10 for sure. I highly recommend:)
