Volakas

I got this in with two Manceras (Instant Crush and Black Noir) as a throwaway fragrance, and because I liked Black Marquina by the same house. I very much prefer this to Manceras. It's such a lovely, truly aromatic, green, sharp scent profile that I cannot quite compare to anything else I've smelled. Not sharp in the sense of it being poorly blended, but rather as if you could feel the thorniness of the bushes in an arid Mediterranean landscape. It mixes so well with the dry woody aspect of vetiver, with hints of something sweet in just the right amount. Gorgeous blend, I'm impressed by this brand so far. Edit: Upon first full-wearing, with liberal spraying, I'm getting strong curry vibes, like a mix of dry sumac, cumin, and curcuma. I feel like an Indian chef. Not necessarily good or bad, but rather interesting.

It's literally the most disgusting fragrance I've ever smelled and I tried some truly weird niche stuff. It's like you sniff a camel rolled around in its sweat, cumin and turmeric, farting after too much curry mixed with hay. Can't imagine someone could be willing to smell like that.
