Artisan Cherry Vetiver

Cherry Bakewell Tart cough syrup with plenty of vetiver and a memory of nutty woodiness, and in a good way imho! This is more like Lost Cherry than Cherry Punk Room to me (CPR is much more burnt woody/incensey in line with that house), but it's more its own thing. (And I haven't tried Cherry Syrup Proad.) If you do not like these "cough syrup" fragrances, then don't unfairly down rate it. It may not be your vibe, but sometimes I am in the mood for this category. I see it more as a flirty spring/fall scent, but I think it could work in the summer too and lasts up to 6 hrs on my skin. To me it is unisex, but could be made more masculine with layering of oud or maybe warm spice frags. Really glad someone included this as a free sample in an order. Hoping to try more from the Avon Artisan line, as you really can't do much better for a $25ish fragrance.

Avon has rebranded this line of fragrance as LYRD, for "Layers Redefined". Cherry Vetiver is outstanding amongst the deluge of Cherry variations out there. This is a velvety smooth, softly wooded skin scent. Extremely great value for the quality. Not at all disjointed between the layers. Lasts much longer on my skin than Tom Ford Lost Cherry. Cherry Vetiver has a synchronicity that many Cherry fragrances do not. There is something reminiscent of Windows Down from Henry Rose. Can't wait to experiment with this in the warmer temperatures.

As someone who usually does not enjoy a cherry scent, this is amazing. its sweet but not sugary; a more mature cherry tone. its a good sweet winter scent, and the wood notes are definitely on the lighter side. sort of smells like a grandma or a thrift store, but kind of in a good way?? overall a sweet wood, fruity in the same way that a wine is

One of my cherry favorites!!! This is a perfect mix of cherry,vetiver and musk! Silage and longevity are both moderate on me. I think this perfume is perfect for year round use just going light with in during the warmer months.

First, I’ve loved Avon for years - they have some great stuff. So I went into this with moderately high expectations. But I was disappointed and doubly so, because not only is this a weak, insipid fragrance, it completely missed its potential to be great. Poor sillage, poor longevity, not very complex or even interesting, not memorable. As a child of the 70s I remember my mom making homemade play doh out of flour, salt etc and then colored with various colors of Kool aid mix (no sugar just the powder). Cheap fun. Avon’s Cherry Vetiver reminded me of the cherry Kool aid play doh - a distinct cherry note but not very sweet; lightly earthy, a slightly “bread-y” note which was unusual and must have been the Vetiver. I’ve smelled Vetiver and this was a shallow disappointment. Even some of Avon’s other Vetiver frags had a more pronounced note than this. The scent is light, low projection but pleasant. It faded and became virtually undetectable in 3 hours. I only bought the travel size and on sale, so no huge loss but I am disappointed by this fragrance.

On me, this opens with a strong cherry and then the vetiver and musk come right behind it, with the cherry hanging around for quite a while. With only 3 ingredients (if correct) this is a linear fragrance. I'm usually reticent to use vetiver fragrances because they can be very leathery, but this is well-mixed, nothing is overdone and the vetiver adds just the right balance of earthiness vs the juiciness of the cherry. As avonman below me said this is much more like a wine sweet, not cotton candy sweet. Earlier, the scent wafted up to my nose and I was impressed by it - sweet, warm, and smoky. I'm going on hour 6 and can still smell it on my skin. I think it is definitely unisex and so far the sillage has been moderate. My review is from the small spray from an A Box that I got with an Avon order, but I think I'm going FB. I really love this.

This is a really good *different* take on cherry. Very woody instead of gourmand and smoky. I really enjoyed the product I had gotten that came in this scent. I wonder if I can still get a bottle of the perfume. *Do NOT msg me trying to get me to buy or sign up with you. I already have an AVON lady.

Very good, unisex and different than the most cherry frags, unique yet simplistic -the vetiver is a divergent. An aromatic Cherry. Does not smell like Lost Cherry - nor Cherry Punk. EDIT: This is a very very very delightful cherry for summer - it is literally refreshing.

I've reviewed this before...and spoke too soon. This turns to a body odor scent because the vetiver is overwhelming. If you do not like vetiver, this will not be for you. I have tried coming back to this scent 3 times, because I want to like it, but I just can not. And is smells nothing like Lost Cherry by Tom Ford, nothing at all.

This smells so good...I have a sample and considering getting a full bottle. I will say if you do not like vetiver, this will not be for you. It is very pronounced.

This will be a fantastic fall and winter scent, maybeeee a summer night scent for a date. It smells deep and mysterious but still soft and delicate. I have santal musk as well as this, and even though they are both unisex, I would say if you are a couple, get the santal for the masculine energy and the cherry vetiver for the feminine energy. I was hoping for a jergens cherry almond vibe from this, and even tho it's much less nutty, it's still close enough. I kind of what to see how this will play with the cheriosa 62 bum bum lotion and a vs bare vanilla body spray! I'm really happy with this. Smells like something to eat 😋

Artisan Cherry Vetiver, is a yummy sweet fragrance, not candy sweet more like a red fruity Sangria so I definitely attribute that to the cherry note, I'm Not familiar with Vetiver but this does have a warmth in the dry down that is probably because of it, AVON Is stepping Outside their Box with these latest Offerings, Over all A.C.V. is playful yet sophisticated & also sexy and would be Great for fun Casual events or Even Romantic situations when you'd like your significant other to nibble behind your neck.

A beautiful, sweet cherry fragrance that is not in the face and therefore not offensive in the faintest. Longevity and sillage are very weak though. I don't mind paying more for better projection. It is a lovely scent, just does not last. Will not repurchase.

this smells like cherry in the same way a lacroix tastes like fruit still smells good
