Attraction Awaken For Him

Honestly I was surprised by how long this fragrance lasts on my skin even after I bathed twice I can still smell it, would most definitely recommend this to anyone.

Encouraged by several recent quite successful Avon premieres, I was tempted to test the new Attraction Awaken. The notes and the juicy color of the bottle suggested that it might be something interesting, but the scent turned out to be rather average. At the start, you can clearly feel the spiciness of nutmeg accompanied by fresh and bitter rhubarb. From the very beginning I also feel an irritating and biting Avon note that remains until the end of the aroma. In some perfumes of the brand it is not present or it is successfully masked, but here we have the typical Avon. The scent fades away very quickly and remains spicy and quite fresh. I was counting on more pronounced alcohol notes. I don't feel the rum much, but there is a bit of cognac that warms up the composition a bit. Over time, more skin appears and, together with the knob, it is most noticeable. The scent becomes spicy and leathery with a slightly alcoholic, sweetish twist. The remaining notes act as an insignificant background that does not really want to stand out. It is worth adding that the leather in Awaken stands out from time to time, but it is rather thin and not very expressive, like the entire composition. Another disadvantage is the late base, after about 2 hours harsh synthetics come to the surface. I don't entirely blame it on the budget of these perfumes because there are fragrances at similar or lower prices that don't smell so synthetic. Awaken is simply made poorly. Very average parameters, it stays close to the skin for several hours. The scent doesn't leave the skin, it's not very strong. However, poor projection is a characteristic feature of the Attraction series. The whole thing is kind of bland, without character. Attraction Awaken turned out to be a rather flat, unmemorable fragrance. Avon serves new products almost every month, sometimes they manage to release something good. This time, however, there is nothing to worry about. I have the impression that this fragrance was not finished, or it was created quickly just to be there because something new had to be released. This composition is similar to many others that have been served dozens of times in Avon. I will spray the bottle, but rather as a spray for home use. Much more interesting is the previous men's novelty from Avon, Elite Gentleman Quest, with a leading note of burnt coffee. However, from the Attraction series, Desire and Game will be better choices, although this entire series gives the impression of being underdeveloped, at least in the men's segment. 5/10

I respect the boozy notes, but the scent is just too synthetic and sweet. Drydown is a bit better but I cannot stand the opening, so this is a pass for me.
