Blue Escape for Him

As this is my first review, I certainly bow to those who came before. I have enjoyed perusing this site and learning so much from the passion of others for some time now. To the task at hand... when I use Avon's "Blue Escape", quite simply and perhaps reflecting my innate appreciation of the light-hearted, I (in harmony with the accords above) feel as though I'm on a New England beach (sea notes; driftwood), breathing a chilled breeze (sea notes; light musk) from an autumnal Atlantic (all accords), enjoying a Granny Smith apple (sea notes; light musk). It's not necessarily the apple's scent, but its indicative crispness. I personally love this fragrance and find its flacon a direct reflection of its scent profile- a mysteriously deep, cold, and rippled sea far north of Caribbean borders. I have had many positive comments and highly recommend this fragrance. Thank you!

So I wanted to re-review this scent as I've grown to really love this scent !!! Before I stated I liked it but said it was kind of boring and I still stick to that statement but for days you just want something simple,fresh,clean and with an aquatic vibe this fits the bill perfectly. To describe the smell id say this smells like 1 of the better more aquatic body washes you would get from Old Spice. Or to paint a picture, it smells as if you washed a fresh load of laundry and hung those clothes out to dry close the ocean and caught a nice whiff of that. Performance on this is about average but for the price you really can't complain ! It lasts 3-5 hours and projects only average for an hour and then your left with a decent scent bubble for the duration. This does leave a nice scent trail ! This is yet another scent that I originally liked because I personally enjoyed it but it moves up in points as this receives more compliments than a lot of my more expensive and more artistic frags ! It really did surprise me !!! Overall rating --- 7.5 out of 10 !!! a safe blind buy that would be a great summer staple for just smelling great for doing simple errands or when you don't want to waste your more expensive juices. This is an amazing scent for the price !!! --- Sidenote : This pairs perfect with Old Spice Amber deodorant and body wash

This is a perfectly pleasant, crisp woody aquatic fragrance. It invokes that fresh from the shower feeling and scent. Other than that, Nautica Voyage does it much better, and both are close to the same price (Voyage is cheaper online if you don't find an Avon sale). I tried a bottle when it was 2 for $22 at Avon. I like it. I will use it as a work scent when I haven't put anything on before leaving the house, and I will use it this summer on hot days in shorts and a t-shirt. It's a decent fragrance at a decent price, and it has good longevity. Overall, it's nothing groundbreaking, but perfectly adequate and a good value.

This one really surprised me. It smelled familiar, yet really unique. It’s got a fresh aquatic vibe with an earthy base. It smells really close to Calvin Klein Eternity Aqua without the cucumber/green veggie notes. The driftwood and white musk really smooth things out and make this a great spring/summer scent that’s fit for the office. Not bad for the price you can find it for.

This fragrance is definitely an aquatic, clean yet creamy summer scent. It begins and remains linear in silage. Projection is quietly cool. Non-offensive, thus, office friendly. More of an after shower or bedtime vibe. Very soothing and comforting. It reminds me of Cubano Bronze which I can't seem to find on this site.

This smells almost exactly the same as D&G Light blue for men. Fresh citrus, then dry down to a light, soft, airy aquatic with very little hint of floral in the background. Overall, this is a unisex scent, fresh, soft and pleasant perfume with a very affordable price and a pretty bottle!

It is a perfect fragrance for summer.Fresh and marine.I can compare it to Nordic Waters by Oriflame, another very similar marine fragrance.Talking about the quality, this has lasted me up to 6 hours with moderate sillage.That's ok for an edt.As a collector of perfume bottles I love the design of the bottle.

I have purchased a number of fragrances that promised to resemble Polo Blue, but this is the first one to actually pull it off. The construction is extremely close, but without the dominant cucumber of Polo Blue. This difference leaves Blue Escape a very clean, beachy fresh air scent.

Surprisingly decent for a hot summer day. Bottle looks cheap and tacky, performance is mediocre, alcohol smell lasts 5 minutes, but in spite of all that it will probably see some use from me this summer as it is the most aquatic/marine fragrance I own.

We have it in Poland now, but with name Aqua. Great for summer! Clean and fresh notes. I love it on my husband!

I love this fragrance so much. So fresh, like a sea breeze.
