Flower by Cynthia Rowley EDP

I've had this for a little while now. I've been waiting for spring to really test this out. I originally thought with all the white florals,it be only a soring/summer scent,but nooo. This Fragrance is STRONG! DEFINITELY strong enough to cut right through the coldest winter. It's an interesting smell though. I kept having to re sniff this,over and over. Because I couldn't understand why I thought it was such an odd fragrance. I didn't hate it,but I didn't love it either. So again, I just kept re smelling it. Just trying to figure out why I found this fragrance so strange,and then,it had finally clicked after so long! This fragrance is PURE SOAP! Particularly,a bar soap. After the first few Minutes,that's all it reminds me off,like an intense ivory soap. But, don't be fooled it's also a white floral OVERLOAD! Just absolutely FILLED to the brim with white flowers. Over time, this scent has really grown on me. It's honestly so clean, and comforting, but still an absolute BEAST at projecting. To be honest,I would not feel confident or attractive wearing this out. lol. It's definitely not sexy or sultry, I think that the only time this fragrance would be best is right after a shower,and that's it. You have to like intense white florals and soapy fragrances to like this. This stays on the skin for at least 6/8 hours easy. On clothes,it lasts for days/weeks! So you will definitely get your money's worth. It's definitely grown on me over time, and now I love it.

This is one of those underrated gems amongst the offerings of Avon. Yes, the price has increased since it was first released, but I continue to happily pay that reasonable price for this one. There is not a single thing I would change about this perfume, and that's a rare thing for me to say. Florals are not even nearly my favorite category of scent, but this one may even become my (first) signature scent. If not: it will remain in my top 3 or 5 rotation simply because it's that beautiful. There is nothing heady, headache-inducing, nor dominant in this realistic bouquet. The lily is lush but far from being funereal. I sense a very realistic note of jasmine here also, but the florals in this are not over-the-top, and ingeniously tempered by the violet leaf and woods. The longevity and sillage are both excellent on my dry, acidic skin. The symphony of notes creating this fragrance are quite authentic compared to their natural counterparts, and I get no synthetic/chemical "aftertaste" from this at all. Definitely a fragrance worthy of high praise!

I’m not sure how or when I acquired this sample, Flower by Cynthia Rowley. I’m positive I have never smelled, let alone reviewed an Avon perfume, but I’m doing so today. Everything about this brought out the instant perfume snob in me, from the nondescript name (Flower) to the girly script used for the brand name (Cynthia Rowley). Even the color of the juice, a kind of nuclear orange looked cheap. But curiosity took over and I applied a good amount from the tiny splash vial to the inside of my wrist. Wow. Heady white flower power. This is a stunning lily scent. Super realistic with incredible performance. It even changes in the dry down with a little creamy sandalwood adding some warmth to the composition. I’m thoroughly impressed. If this was packaged in a different high end designer frag package, no one would question it. I’m thinking Tom Ford or Cartier. Get your nose on this perfume if you are a white floral fan.

I loved this fragrance from the minute I held the cool vintage looking bottle in my hand. My friend sold Avon and insisted I try it..even though I was working in fragrance at a major department store. To placate her, I bought a bottle. You know those moments in life where everything feels wonderful and right? Well, that my friends, is Flower. I never got so comfortable with a fragrance, so fast. It has such a lovely vibe with white flowers , vanilla and sandalwood. It was as though I had been wearing it my whole life. I made it my signature scent... Until the bad guys at avon stopped carrying this diamond in the rough. But it was a beautiful relationship while it lasted.

Flower by Cynthia Rowley is one of my few favorite fragrances, and it’s listed proudly on my wardrobe page. I’d consider it a soliflore, and the star of the show is undoubtedly the lily. I’m absolutely obsessed with lilies—when they bloom in my garden, I can’t stop sniffing them until the very last petal falls... This fragrance perfectly captures the essence of the eternal lily, and I adore it. It’s like a fresh, never-ending bloom in a bottle. As for longevity, it has great staying power, which I appreciate. That said, I know lilies aren’t for everyone, so I try not to overdo it—just enough to enjoy the scent without overwhelming anyone around me.

First: I LOVE this scent... it's actually the best and most different Avon scent I've ever tried. So, of course, Avon discontinued it. :( I don't find it powdery... it DOES have a great deal of sillage, so it's best to use it sparingly. It's blended well and is a great quality scent. It lasts and, as I said before, it's best to use sparingly - I think layering it with the lotion makes it too strong on me. It is definitely floral /musk / sandalwood - not edible smelling at all. Office Safety: 4/10 (a little goes a looong way!) Headache factor: 5/10 (doesn't give me a headache, but I think it could give someone else problems)

I love this! It is really really beautiful! I really have never smelled a perfume that is a garden in the bottle! This is all of your favorite garden smells in as close to natural as possible. I love how this lingers on the skin and just grows into a creamy beautiful wonderful thing. It just gets better and better. This is supposed to be the mama to Cynthia Rowley's Petal which I have and you can really see the resemblance. I am amazed by how extremely beautiful this is. Honeysuckle at it's best!

This perfume is a lush spring garden full of hyacinths, tulips, and white Easter lilies. Absolutely lovely for springtime. I've had such a hard time finding something similar to this after loving it years ago- apparently lily fragrances aren't in style as much anymore. Recently picked up Gucci Bloom which does evoke the lush flower garden, but isn't exactly the same- perhaps a slightly more summer garden rather than a spring garden.

This is incredibly underrated and I don't know how easy it is to get seeing as it is out of production for a decade. If it was put out by Memo it would not be the weak link of the line. I know that lilies are called 'funeral flowers' but you cannot deny the beauty of their fragrance and this perfume really captures it. It also lasts a very long time for an Avon perfume. Be careful though, like a real bouquet, this is strong.

How could Avon have discontinued "Flower", one of their best ever, already?! This one is so rich, vibrant and full of life. It starts with soft, powdery freesia and spices. The heart is dominated by the purest Casa Blanca lily since vintage White Shoulders. The dry down is warm and woodsy. Even the bottle is one of the most beautiful in a long time. What a shame that this is already a "lost" fragrance!

On me this is quite green at the beginning, but then turns into a floral vanilla musk, which is pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. I've been looking for a non-foody, not too sweet vanilla perfume, and this might be it. The lasting power is decent - several hours at least - and I think it gets better as it goes. I do agree with Weegee: I don't think this would be a perfume for a hot summer day.

I love this one too. It's like a more mature, deepened version of petal. The set has always given off mother-daughter impressions to me. It's very wearable and affordable, and lasts reasonably. Not particularly strong. But strong enough It's super floral but in a lovely cohesive way! It's bright and spry, and the lily scent is so perfect. Would recommend!

One of the first perfumes I discovered as a adult. Very strong flowery perfume. It is a bit spicy as well and definitely not delicate on me. When I first spray I don't get citrus I get more melon for some reason...idk. Either way it's one of my favorites. It will last a very long time and projection is on point.

I smelled this perfume once 10 years ago, but couldn't get it then, and still remember the scent. Was lucky enough to find a sealed box one on ebay and I' m beyond happy, it' s still a beautiful, spring-in-a-bottle perfume with light woody accords. Amazing!

Very wearable lily without any irritative notes. Clean flower scent enlightened by lily of the valley. Good perfume for young ladies or for days when you don’t want to wear something complex. A must to have for lily lovers especially for the price

I would have sworn this had Gardenia in it and I am shocked to see that it doesn't. How can that be? That is all I smell. Oh well-it doesn't matter it really has grown on me and I hope I can find another bottle soon. I am running on empty.

This is one of the best fragrances I ever smelt and bought. It's name is exactly how it smells but a little muskier. Very nice. I love it and actually have the Body Wash to it.

People used to comment on how nice my perfume was when I wore this. Its my all time favourite and I have just used the last bottle :( Please bring it back Avon.....

Absolutely love this perfume. Sweet lily scent released only after an hour of wearing and lingers the whole day. The fragrance can last for more than 24hours!
