Mesmerize Red for Her

At first it was like berry shampoo, then changed to something more plastic-y. It's strawberry, cranberry with spicy and bit freshness in background. I think it's floral (maybe rose, maybe lily - white floral) that gives to this perfume softness and makes it brighter. It's sweet, but because of spiciness it's more for woman. Sometimes not pleasant when smelling very close to skin. This perfume could be worn everyday. It's actually nice and bit unique between other all these vanilla and sweet. I don't know why so many dislikes, unless you try to compare it with something very different. Longevity and sillage could be better.

SO disappointing! I love Mesmerize Black and really like the original Mesmerize in the purple bottle so had high hopes for this, but it is just so flat and off the bottom of the scale for being weak. It reminds me a bit of Cacharel Amor Amor and also of Britneys Hidden Fantasy - difference being I like both of those fragrances whereas this is boring and feeble. It mostly seems to smell of weak spicy oranges. I can just detect some similar notes between this and the other two mentioned. There is absolutely NOTHING mesmerizing about it, it's an insipid waste of money. Avon has been putting out some really nice fragrances lately but this is definitely not one of them. HUGELY disappointed! PS, this listing is spelt wrong, it is Mesmerize, NOT Mezmerize. Needs changing to be easier to find please Fragrantica!

I've tried this fragrance now. I had high hopes for it considering I like Mesmerize Black so much. I haven't smelled the Mesmerize in the blue bottle though. This fragrance is nothing special. Just pleasant red fruits with a bit of spice. It doesn't give any impression such as seductive/innocent or anything like that. It just smells like something your colleague with simple taste might wear at work. Boring.

I love Mesmerize Black and can't wait to try this one!

Mesmerize Red opens with a scent reminiscent of the Carolina Herrera CH for her. Does anyone still remember that round bottle encased in leather, with two CH letters hanging under a golden cap? It was beyond beautiful. Fruity, sweet, leathery, grown up, revealing its beauty anew in so many facets. Mesmerize Red opens with that accord. Then shorty it dries down to a happy berry scent with some musks, some spiciness. It is quite a unique sweet floral fruity perfume. And the bottles of Mesmerize line are gorgeous!

I now have this and the notes listed on the back of the box are red peony, ginger and patchouli. It's an odd little fluffy fruitchouli upfront, I think there's berries in here somewhere. It isn't too sweet and it's a little bit plastic.. reserving judgement on this.. I like the Moorish bottle design though

I actually love this perfume,but this will be a short review because it reminds me of one very pleasant thing......" Twin Peaks RR Diner Norma's damn fine sour cherry pie!" Cherries complete with sweet crumbly shortcrust pastry.i am reminded by this every time i wear it on my wrists
