Musk for Men

Longevity isn't great but my 1987 bottle beats the smell of Jovan and Coty by a comfortable margin. Ranks up there with both the Old Spice and Aqua Velva musks but they're different enough to warrant owning all three.

This is still my favorite seductive, very manly scent to date. It's simple & perfect. Lasts for hours. Sadly it's been discontinued. A timeless classic.

Since a long time ago, I've been distrustful of the notes claimed on this page. This time it gives me a bit more reason. The packaging clearly states it has lavender, and nowhere does it mention bergamot or neroli. NOR does it smell like leather, and in my opinion, it's better that it doesn't Obviously, it smells a lot like musk, which is an elegant and warm scent, but also, in the most recent ones (because it does feel different from the ones that came in a rhombus-shaped bottle), the lavender is very noticeable, which at the same time makes it a fresh scent

Musk for men is really a keeper in my fragrance wardrobe, i have a half bottle i use it only for a special moment/occasion, it’s a classic musk & leather fragrance not too complex like the others from the same time/era. Projection is really good, also good longevity, sadly it has been discontinued from the avon brochure but i think it’s still available in some countries, I would love to have it again. My bottle has the new design from the current Avon Musk line, not the classic one showed in the main picture. 5/5

Very warm and inviting, this consists of Musk and leather...nothing more and nothing less! Sillage - a few feet, one of the most noticeable from the wearers point of view! Longevity - a good six hours but fades quickly after that When to wear - Work, Evenings or even a date Verdict: a pleasant scent to wear that's very inviting yet not intimidating. Not overly complex but then it isn't very expensive. Indeed i believe Avon has stopped producing it which is a shame as i only have a small amount left. 4/5

I tried this scent right before it was discontinued. At the time, I was still having headaches from musk-dominant fragrances, so I could not wear it often. However, it had a very "manly" type of musk/leather accord, which I enjoyed, with one of my favorite notes, bergamot, dominant in the drydown. I wish Avon would re-release this good, basic musk, so I could enjoy it now that musk does not usually make me ill. Sillage and longevity are excellent, please use sparingly in office situations!

I remember this one being sweeter, less soapy, and more pleasant than other musks from the same period. The dry down was very nice and mellow, kind of a warm-blanket feel. It was something cheap I could wear and not want to scrub and hour later (Jovan?). It's been a while since I've had a bottle, but it was plenty strong with a couple spritzes, and easily lasted all day. I liked it for cool weather, but I think it's an everyone scent for any time; nice work Avon!

Wow this classic fragrance remind me of my dad when i smelled it. It's brings my past memory. This is my favourite perfume its so perfect. It's romantic and seductive.. When i wear it, i always get notice and complemented.. It's has the power to attract everyone. Even guys don't hesitate to ask what I'm wearing, coz its so good.. This perfume could be the perfect date fragrance.. Good job Avon i think this a masterpiece.

I have a vintage flacon of this fragrance, but can't be sure of its age. In any case, MfM is a classic fragrance, not too musky or too leathery. Sillage and lasting power are modest, which may be due to age. The citrus note balances the deeper musk/leather notes. I'm usually not a fan of musk frags but MfM is very, very nice indeed.

Avon Musk. This one is really good, smelling rich and exquisite. It smells of a deep musk, darker than your bright orange musk smell mixed with pine. It smells of a rich powerhouse eighties fragrance.
