Surreal Sky

My sister wore this perfume and I was smitten and couldn't believe it was Avon! I immediately bought a bottle and the original Surreal. Love them both but Surreal Sky is my go to night time perfume. Very grown up and heavy on the jasmine and extremely long lasting. There are red berries in there too but its mostly jasmine and smells a lot more expensive than it is. If a perfume could personify a colour then this would be deepest burgundy red!

Why did they have to discontinue this? This is Avon perfume that competes with my other designer perfumes. Everyone likes it and rates it towards the top of my collection. I wear a lot of different perfumes, but this one always garners compliments from family and friends (especially guys). The scent: The keynotes are red fruits, a woody base with a touch of white flowers. This is a simple yet effective composition. Well balanced. - Red fruits: deep yet fresh, fruity, and yet not cloying - Woody notes: This is what sets it apart from your typical affordable fragrance. The wood adds a level of depth. - Floral component: this acts as the bridge for the other two notes to come together. Conclusion: I highly recommend it!

It is ok, not long lasting on me unfortunately but I do get an hour of drydown that is very, very pretty. Well blended sweet floral with something interesting in there. The opening is much more generic. I am happy enough to use it from time to time but I would not miss it either.

Very sweet indeed. The red fruits are MASSIVE. The Night Jasmine is also massive and the whole thing is very long lasting and strong. Way too syrupy sweet for my taste, but there is a definitely an appetite for such fruity florals.

Unbelievable anyone would say this isn't long lasting. It's nuclear lol. I sprayed 1 spray on my mum to test it the morning I received it and she came home later that night still smelling very strongly of it!

Epiphyllum Oxipetalum is a night blooming cactus plant most people call Night Blooming Cereus. Google the Epiphyllum Oxipetalum and you will see one of the ugliest plants the flower only blooms at night and only lasts one night (into morning). But the smell of this flower is beautiful. I am sure lady of the night is laymen term for Jasmine in different parts of the world since honestly I have never heard the Epiphyllum Oxipetalum being called lady of the night except here. Manacá is a medium-sized, shrubby tree that grows to 8 m in height. It is often cultivated as an ornamental tree in the tropics as it produces highly-fragrant, pretty, white and purple flowers (which are sometimes employed in perfumes) Now it is hard to find any perfumes that have Epiphyllum Oxipetalum as an ingredient due to its only blooming at night and lasting 1 night. The ingredients are generally chemicals that perfumers have named to have these caricatures.

I tried this today. The blast of chemical laundry type notes on a card was enough to put me Off trying on skin completely but my daughter did.. Oh I like this one, she said Three minutes later, ohhh I really don’t. She actually used a baby wipe to remove. She is 11 but can appreciate L’Heure Bleu, Shalimar and things like Tabu so I trust her nose! If you *like* the Fuzzy chemical/laundry type scent with a lot of syrupy fruit this is your scent!

Never felt these undertones: the lady of the night flower is a night blooming jasmine also called "lady of the night" because its scent is so extraordinarily potent, "indecent", many times stronger than ordinary jasmine.We used to have one lady of the night plant (also called manacá) in mother's house but she hared its strength and took it down. I was really sorry.

FYI. to all....lady of the night flower...is basically "night blooming jasmine".....claims to have undertones of clove, allspice powder and cinnamon.
