Unplugged for Him

Great for the office or everyday n it won't break the bank! Gave it to my picky nephew who only likes Bleu Chanel n he loved it! And is actually really wearing it! Winner winner chicken dinner!!

Well, it's an Avon fragrance. If you've been into collecting or wearing scents for a while you probably know that they tend to be short lived and on the synthetic side. This has an average life on my skin and it is definitely a darker floral leaning masculine aroma. The notes don't stand apart and it seems a bit linear but once in a while I swear, I think I'm getting a coconut note-sorta sweet. I've tested a couple of times indoors and I look forward to trying it out on town. Maybe an all season and day/night casual eau de toilette that has average projection.

I really love the smell of unplugged but sadly it follows the path of a lot of Avon colognes. No projection and no longevity. It could be a great starter cologne but not for the seasoned. Step up avon your trailing behind the other houses.

Between my husband and I, we're amassing a pretty large collection of "olfactory treasures." We've got a bit of everything from "Wal-mart specials" and BBW to Nina Ricci and Bvlgari to Imaginary Authors and L'Artisan Parfumeur. While I'm not usually a big fan of Avon's perfumes and such, there have been a couple that I liked enough to buy... on sale. This and it's female counterpart were gifts from my dad, who has been on a big Avon "kick" for the past year, and they're suprisingly not bad. Unplugged for Him smells very nice on my husband during all its brief stages. The top note is spicy and merges with his skin chemistry beautifully, about 15 to 20 minutes later the Dahlia enters the room, adding it's depth and charm to the soft, endulgent pepper. When all is said and done, he smells like a beautiful sunset walk through an old grove of mature Redwoods, Maples and ancient White Oaks with a breeze gently wofting the scent of freshly lit fireplaces rising from neighboring chimneys. Perfect for fall, just doesn't last very long at all.

Spicy, fresh. Clean. It’s a nice scent for Avon. Definitely nothing i would consider out of the ordinary. But it’s a nice pickup!
