Gold Temptation

It's marketed as an "Exotic Spiced Fragrance", and also, it's considered as a Flanker to AXE Dark Temptation, but it's like Nothing, I've smelled before. It has no resemblance with popular Spicy fragrances, like, Spicebomb Extreme, Jovan Sex Appeal, Creed Viking, Chanel Egoist, Old Spice Aftershave Lotion etc. It's smell is quite interesting and I'm trying to explain: Have you ever entered an old Library with large halls and old Books with hundreds of years age? Have you ever been to any Curio Shop with Thousands of years old Artefacts? The moment, you enter those old Halls with ancient Relics, the smell, that hits you in the face, is, almost 99% similar to AXE Gold Temptation! Not a Compliment getter or a Mass pleaser. But this is for personal delight. On a cold rainy day, if you ever plan to go for an Adventure to Middle Earth, with Gandalf the Grey and Frodo Baggins, just spray this on! And the One Ring will Rule them All!!

This one is actually a flanker from Dark Temptation, since the first one is SO famous. Is like a fruitier Dark Temptation. Is lighter (in the sense the other is dark, since this is strong and heavy as its brother) and sweeter in a different way. While the one give that strong masculine vibe, this one would be more "sensitive", pending even to the unisex side of fragrances. The chocolate is mixed with the amber in the background (and not in your face, as DT), and at the front you get the fruits (pear and bergamot) and suede. On the downside, It doesn't last as much as DT. This one is good and better blended than Dark Temptation. Smells more like a perfume (while the other one, although i love, smells like sweaty chocolate). For that reason, i actually stick to my sweaty chocolate. This one is kinda common, when you spray you get the "i know this" feeling. Overall, in my opinion, that's a nice addition to the Temptation family, but not as memorable as its brother.

A pretty good Lynx (Axe), but not one of their classics like: Africa (1995), Apollo or more recently Dark Temptation (2008) White Label (2001) and Pulse (2003). As you can guess by the name it is a flanker to Dark Temptation. It retains a similar gourmand chocolately base. I think it's a bit more subtle and a bit less extrovert. I wondered if the name was a reference to 1 Million (2008), but I can't see many similarities apart from the sweetness. The top notes to me smelt like Watermelon with a sort of powdery fresh smell (probably the green citrus notes). Longevity for me was about 4 hours which is about average for Lynx. Sillage is moderate, but obviously this is a deodorant so I never expect massive projection. To me it's a bit like they mashed Attract and Dark Temptation together. Overall it's worth a go.
