Azzaro Pour Homme Limited Edition 2014

After summer editions released in 2013 (for the Chrome and Pour Homme lines), in tribute to the Mediterranean origins of Loris Azzaro, the brand decided to launch two new limited editions (again, for Pour Homme and Chrome lines), inviting its user to take a trip. This time, the inspiration came from Latin America. No wonder the new fragrances have not received the nomenclature "Summer" in their names. On the contrary, if you search on the web, you will find images of bottles with the inscription "Travel Edition" in the same location where usually comes inscribed "Limited Edition". I haven't seen official information, but I think that this differential should be for any specific market, as occurred with the names of Azzaro Onyx/Silver Black. And since I'm talking about the bottle of Azzaro pour Homme Limited Edition 2014, the suggestion is a colorful square, in shades of red, brown and ochre, as if heated by the Sun. The illustrator was the French artist Emeric Trahand, better known as Takeshi. The bottle kept the default format of the Pour Homme line. The fragrance is typically described in a simplistic manner, as the result of the accords of oranges, cardamom, guaiac wood, and tonka bean. But it goes way beyond that! In the output, Brazilian Orange, Mandarin, pink pepper, mint, and lemon; In the body, green cardamom from Guatemala, lavender, geranium, anise, Sage, and Basil; In the base, Guaiac wood from Paraguay, tonka beans from Venezuela, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, and oakmoss. I haven't had the opportunity to meet the versions Intense (1992) and L'Eau (2011) of the classic fragrance from 1978, but I can say that this Limited Edition of 2014 could be called Pour Homme Orange, for example, that could have the same result. It is possible to feel the nuances of the original version, through the shared notes of geranium, basil, lavender, and moss, among others. However, with the fruity aroma of the orange always present at the top of the composition. It is delicious but could have a better projection. The brand was able to launch an ideal flanker for the Latin summer, without naming it as such. The bottle is beautiful and the scent is a must-have for the fans of the Pour Homme line, who would like to know what it would be the experience of squeezing an orange inside the bottle of the original version.

what a beauty and rare find for me...absolute love at first sniff...this is very close to terre de hermes eau tres fraiche in the opening.has some spicy orange opening which is through and through summer.its very hard to find , so im lucky.i get some woody drydown from it with cardamom and cloves.very high class, italian style cologne....james bond would rock this while he flirts with women...pierce brosnan to be particular...longevity is moderate to ok...not beast but its built the same way eau sauvage edt was built....perfect summer vacation.....think of slow moving ceiling fans....in a quiet hotel room...and you are sitting by the bar ....very sunny day,...you got hat and sunglasses on...and sipping on gin n tonic. 10/10 just for the feel and beautiful bottle :)

This one is really well done. The orange in this is a sort of greener orange leaning toward a bitter type orange, but without having an overt bitterness. If that makes sense. I know many here will say it could or should perform better, but it is an an orange based scent and as far as orange based scents go it outperforms most of the rest of the orange based scents with the orange top component. I still pick up the orange note throughout, though the orange does become less intensive after 3 or so hours. But, it's still there throughout. It's orange, and this is expected. If this was an Acqua Di Parma scent, it would likely get greater acclaim. It should anyway IMO. It is an exceptional version of an orange top scent in the Italian style. The dry down to this as the orange wanes, is really very enjoyable in itself. Again, giving an Italian scent vibe. This is something I get on the kick of wearing, wear it daily for a week or so, then go to something else. But always eventually come back to it. If I didn't already have more scents than I could ever use up, I would maybe even get a backup of this one. Instead, I am going to roll the dice in the 2015 version of this same limited edition line. See where that leads. To finish, the graphic on the bottle is spot on. It has a certain Latin sub tropical or vacation sort of vibe with that familiar Pour Homme base a little toned down.

همین اول کار خاطر نشان کنم که این عطر شما رو شگفت زده نخواهد کرد . و همین بهتر که نسخه محدوده چون اصلا فروش خوبی نخواهد داشت با این رایحه کاملا تکراری اول کار عطر یه ته بوی صمغی شیرین که بسیار بسیار ضعیف و گذراست و حدود چند ثانیه عمرشه رو خواهد داشت که بعد از این چند ثانیه ، بوی بسیار شاداب و خنک پرتقال رو متوجه خواهید شد که اولش شیرینه و رفته رفته ترش میشه بعد از 1 دقیقه بوی آشنای درخت سدر عطر رو کمی متفاوت میکنه و من فقط این قسمتش رو دوست دارم که متاسفانه عمر بسیار کمی داره . یعد از 4 دقیقه دشمن من یعنی میخک به عطر اضافه میشه و در همین لحظه فقط میتونم در افق محو بشم در نهایت بوی هل که بسیار بی کیفیته رو متوجه خواهید شد با اندکی میخک و پرتقال وکمی هم نت چوبی همین از هر لحاظ من نمره بدی بهش میدم و به شخصه انتخاب های بسیار زیادی رو میتونم داشته باشم برای عطر تابستان فقط اینو نه :دی

Very simple and understated summer fragrance. My bottle opens with a beautiful orange note reminiscent of an orange grove surrounded by all things orange. Unfortunately, the opening is best thing about this perfume because it then dries down to a slightly sweet and spicy wood scent with no real unique features. Good for a day at the beach or outdoors in the heat. Longevity is average and silage is non-existent but just carry the bottle (careful with the flimsy cap) and spray away. That opening will always make orange lovers happy. Edit: Left it to sit undisturbed in a cupboard for a few months. That bitter orange note is now sticking around even into the drydown. This gives the woody notes a slightly bitter-sweet bite and makes this a wonderful warm-weather fragrance.

At the beginnung for few minutes I could feel some fresh but not sharp (rather warm) orange. It evaporates immediately and there is nothing left except for a weak base smelling like really nothing or sorry maybe like cheap cleanig agent or diluted carbonated orange drink. I tried few times to give it a chance but no way. Beware: it has nothing common with classic Azzaro for Men. If you want similar orange scent go better for Guerlain d'Orange Verte which is not so sweet, more fresh and lasts a little bit longer.

If you love Tang Orange drink and always wanted to smell like one, then by all means buy this.

Top Notes Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Lemon Heart Notes Lavender, Geranium, Anise, Sage, Basil Base notes Patchouli, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Oakmoss I bought 5ml decant. Masculine fragrance and will fit mature gentleman. It has barbershop feel to it. It open smell like orange peel, a bit bitter on the opening and mellow down as it dries down. I can't notice other prominent notes except for the citrus accord and little woody spices. It doesn't feel bright or uplifting, longevity and projection are okay to low.imo Rating: 7/10 I prefer the original azzaro PH

at first sniff,this is really fresh and very suitable for casual wear in summer.soon after it becomes a pure woody perfume.not that I don't like woody perfumes(in fact I adore woody perfume),but I just wish the long lasting power and sillage were stronger. by the way,I like the design on bottle and pack.
