Azzaro Pour Homme Limited Edition 2016

I purchased this Limited Edition from TJ Maxx for about $14.99, not knowing at the time that it was a 2016Limited Edition (unboxed). I liked it so much that I wanted to purchase another bottle. Found what I thought was the same formulation and a two-for, I bought on Ebay, so I gave as a gift the TJ Maxx purchase. After sampling the recent purchase from Ebay, right away I noticed the lids had a silver stripe and the scent itself exuded a sharp, jarring note that I had not experienced from my TJ Maxx bottle and brought this to the attention of the person I had gave away the first Azzaro to. Although this person was not nor had ever been into fragrances like I am, having smelled both side-by-side also noticed the differences in them, but stated they liked both. They graciously exchanged with me and I now am (once again) the owner of the Limited 2016 limited edition of Azzaro pour homme! The 2016 LE version is much smoother, mellower and altogether better put together. It flows from start to finish and the Atlas cedar give it a dry but softer vetiver-lavender laced soapiness that is more perfume than just straight up barber shop soap. To me it is manly but cozy at the same time. Sort of reminds me of a protective hunk who still smells amazing after having worn it for 6-8 plus hours due to a wonderful body chemistry balance with this one. It is not heavy and I agree that it would be suitable for warmer to hotter weather as it seems to not be an overwhelming scent. It makes its presence known but doesn't overdo it. It is simplistically beautiful. A 3-note masterpiece

APH 2016 Limited Edition is Enchanting and very nicely and lightly balanced Summer edition of the heavy original, the original APH nicely melts into sweet and pleasant and not annoying fantasy, stays long enough on the skin and received good words from those who smelled it on me. surely not annoying and updated interpretation of the original. for me in general which also liked the 2015 Limited edition. it feels like a better value for money and i find myself using both this 2016 and 2015 editions more than i use the original. i don't agree that Azzaro is destroying anything with these editions. surely not after releasing so many other non limited editions through the years. i believe each of them stands out for it's own and in general all the flankers i tried were of above average level and good value of money. it's interesting though for me, as i can't say the same things about the Various Chrome editions which i tried. as bottom line, i recommend this fragrance also for colder indoor days and nights. sillage is not insulting the senses but is nicely present. and longevity is decent at around 7-10 hours. go for it as long as it lasts.

Okay I'm back almost 3 years later right next to my old review here and I thought I would re- sample this!! so here we go !! it most definitely has a huge blast of grapefruit and Pine that slaps you in the face and then Fades off into the old original azzaro base of all the flankers practically, the bottle is a really beautiful orange color which is different than the rest of the bottles if you take a good look at it and I see this is become hard to find or at least doubled or tripled in price so my current valuation of this fragrance is that it is a wonderful fragrance and I will back up the most recent fragrance review... which is basically the next line down..🤭🤭☺️ lol, ciao💪🔥🔥

Stunning composition from Quentin Bisch. The fragrance has a great character which is warm, fresh and delicately spicy at the same time. To me it smells extremely Parisian, has a great charm & chic about it. Wonderful performance also. Much more than just a flanker! Bravo!

as said previously this is a very sharp bright citrusy floral with loads of spice !!!! definitely a flanker update to the original...it blew me away!! 8.5 scent......8.0 silage/longevity...easy to find and under priced GEM of a fragrance !!!!!
