Released in 2011, after the success achieved with the sales of Azzaro Pour Homme Elixir (2009), this cologne came to my wish list, ever since I met it on an international trip I have done. But I think the company lost itself in concept, by stating that the name describes, clearly, the ideal time to wear this new olfactory expression, i.e. at night. In my point of view, this fragrance can be worn at any time of the day but is not as sexy or seductive as the Elixir version. Azzaro Night Time is more versatile, even though transmits confidence. And it has no oriental notes in order to amplify the Oriental facet. On the contrary, it’s not sweet or creamy. It is aromatic and green, with a woody base. Its notes combine bitter orange and rhubarb, on top; Fern accord, black pepper, and nutmeg, in the heart; Cedar and vetiver, in the base. According to the manufacturer, it would be a retelling of the classic from 1978, Azzaro Pour Homme, maintaining the same olfactory structure: character (represented by anise), seduction (represented by Lavender) and timelessness (represented by the vetiver). In this respect, I agree! This Night Time version can be strong, seductive and timeless, within the current market male molds. It is not dated (old), but also not to party. When it reaches the skin, the output is fruity without being juicy. The rhubarb has this tart and fruity aroma that combines very well with notes of spices. And the orange helps to give the citric and bitter tone. Although many people don't like the nuance of rhubarb, for me this is the most interesting part of this scent. The evolution brings a greener level. Although the Fern has no smell, like Mint, for example, the accord that was used, along with the pepper, provides a drier smell, prefacing the Woody base. The cedar, in my opinion, ends the evolution with perfection. Its resinous, green, almost citrus and luminous aspect, produces a positive effect on any male fragrance. Making a crude comparison, I would say that this version is the most jovial and safe of all, while the Elixir version would be for the conqueror and romantic man and the original version for the classic and older man. To finish, the bottle kept the same visual identity of the line Pour Homme, with a discrete grayscale gradient.

This was a very surprising blind buy at TJ Maxx for only $20 which I didn't expect much from but am very glad to add to my collection. Azzaro's 'Night Time' is a citrus and rhubarb bomb with a base very similar to the original Azzaro Pour Homme, which is a classic powerhouse cologne that I love and enjoy wearing in the winter. The initial blast is a tart and bitter orange matched to strong rhubarb over nutmeg and vetiver. It comes off powerful, loud and projects really well for the first couple hours. Rhubarb is such a particular note, you will either love it or hate it. However, it is very unique and noticeable nonetheless. As it dries down, the cedarwood and rhubarb marry each other and it becomes very nice, not too masculine and not too sweet. Not too much citrus, not overly peppery and definitely not 'sporty' or 'aquatic' or 'fresh'. There's really nothing out there that smells like it in all the hundreds of fragrances I've sampled. The base is vetiver and cedar, which is still overshadowed and layered under the strong rhubarb, orange and nutmeg notes which blend together not so much in harmony as they do to shine and scream 'I am different'. At times you don't know if you love, hate or are on the fence about this scent. It's very polarizing, but the female compliments comes fairly easily, so that's a big plus for me. With a liberal application of ten sprays (neck, shoulders, chest and wrists) I am getting 7-10+ hours of longevity, with a few days on clothes and fabrics. Projection and sillage is strong for the first four hours, then it dies down to a skin scent. For the price this goes for, you can't go wrong with this one in your collection. It is very unique, women seem to like it, and it projects well enough for a night out on the town at the bars, clubs or date nights. For the serious collectors, there's nothing out there that smells like this so I recommend you get it for that reason alone.

Recieved a sample with another order a few years back and really liked it because it felt solid. Fast forward to 2018, I finally decided to purchase a full bottle after coming back to the sample on multiple occasions. One of the things I like to do when I lay in bed to write a review, is to spray a small spritz on the back of my hand while I write. It greatly helps me to decide how I shape my reviews. As I'm laying here smelling this scent, two words Immediately come to mind..."happy" and "clean". There's something in Azzaro Night Time that I just absolutely love. It gives me a drunkin catnip vibe, always putting me on a guaranteed cloud 9. The bitter orange and rhubarb combo is just brilliant here, but I think it's the sharpness of the orange that I like best, creating a chilly/cold and perhaps even a slightly watery feel burried deep in this unusual concoction. The rhubarb and other notes in Night Time creates a modern barber shop quality vibe that makes me want to walk a little bit taller while wearing Azzaro Night Time. In short, it turns me into a happy and humble, confident man. Try Christmas shopping and Christmas lighting after Thanksgiving dinner while wearing this. The rhubarb/nutmeg spice feels inviting and festive. It really shines through the chill. The more you wear it, the more you'll realize why Azzaro hit the nail on the head by calling this offering, "Night Time". This fragrance is perfect for a mature, modern guy, especially 35+. I challange some of you to try this "under the radar" gem. It really starts growing on you after awhile, and I have nothing in my 70+ bottle wardrobe that smells like this. Have fun!

I really like this Azzaro Night Time. Had I gone off of reviews here I would have never done a blind buy on this. In fact it sounded so lack luster in comparison to reviews for Azzaro Classic and Azzaro Onyx that I had already made up my mind to not get it based on my preferences. But, there it was... staring me in the face at TJ Max... so I said what the heck... Azzaro has impressed me before so I'll drop the 20 bucks. All I can say is wow! I love it! It starts off with a nice bitter orange and green bite with a hint of minty deception from the rhubarb that says "hey! I am right here!" After several minutes the greenery gets warmed up by a very nice cinnamon/nutmeg floral with a slight tinge of pepper. Very nice intrigue in the morphing that says "follow me!" In about an hour or so it becomes slightly sweet and soft with cedar, vetiver, and vanilla notes that stays closer to the skin and says "come closer..." So, how it starts is not how it ends... What it is not: It's not a projection bomb that would keep going for hours and hours and keep turning heads. It's not offensive or overpowering. What it is: A gentleman... Tipping his hat, and then daring you to find out more about him. It is inviting and warm, and tempts you to get a closer view. Hours later.... Who knows... I may have just found a new signature scent.

Azzaro Night Time oh how wonderful you are. Beautiful bitter orange and tart rhubarb mixed with a clean spice accord and airy wood. Fresh and aromatic carrying a somber and serious aura. Perfect for the introspective and bookworm types among us, the brooding artists, the ones who enjoy stormy days, walks alone in the woods or a cemetery. This fragrance straddles the border between modern and gothic. An absolute hit from Azzaro, it's not everyday you come across something that's both fresh and dark. Good performance and decent silage. If you go a little heavy handed it should last all day and project well but even one or two sprays can be enough. Doesn't do well in hot weather though, if you wear it during Summer it'll be a faint skin scent before you know it. Definitely made for Autumn and early Spring.

Even if you're not impressed with Azzaro Night Time upon first initial spray, hang in there. This one is the epitome of a "grower". Over time, you may just fall in love like me. This is one of those offerings that you just wanna put on your favorites shelf, but you just don't have the damn room, lol Night Time's watery citrus opening is my favorite part. Then comes the rhubarb and nutmeg, bringing in the mature, festive vibes. It's like sitting in the barber's chair, surrounded with pine and tinsel while you watch A Christmas Carol on the flat screen during your trim. "High and tight this time, Charlie". 9 out of 10 - Works well in early to mid Fall, but shines best during the holidays and deep Winter.

Beautiful fragrance, Orange - Rhubarb combo, punchy and invigorating in the opening, without a lot of sweetness, it's even actually sour and bitter. But this isn't a linear scent and it develops quite well into the mid and the drydown. It gets slightly creamier , but it still has this bite and this slight spiciness from the rhubarb and pepper/nutmeg. After 1 or 2 hours, it's quite close to Versace Eros ? I thought other people would mention but it's maybe just my nose. For the price this is better though, a lot more mature and less sweet. I see however no link with the Original Pour Homme so don't expect it as a close flanker.

A dark delicious mysterious masterpiece. Captures the excitement and beauty of a night out on the town as well as any fragrance I've come across. It's very similar to la nuit de l'homme by YSL but more mature and sophisticated and better IMO. Just the right amount of sweetness and citrus to lighten things up while the rhubarb and woods casts a beautiful masculine rich shadow over everything to bring it all together. Still carries the skeleton of the original azzaro pour homme but is essentially more free spirited and exciting. I love the original but if I'm looking to let loose a bit this is what I reach for.

Ok, its like nonstop on me since purchase had it at work through weekend too, projecting very well (for price etc) when applied and went to bar my colleague standing 2 meters away literally shouted "wow whats ur perfume it smells so great!"earlier that day another one asked me whats my new fragrance and that he noticed 2 days ago because its like fresh kick to face.Hes kinda tough guy and never asked me like that before even when i had guerlains, rodriguez, and other stuff on earlier this year so - Nice 😮 Note im working in busy restaurant, hotel resort running 15 hours days shifts with sunny 27+C

Opening good, gets worse on dry down. I am detecting a somewhat unsweet honey note. Interesting fragrance, although it gets “old” after a few hours similar to being cloying without the sweetness. Those who have worn CK Obsession know what I am talking about, kinda stuffy and almost dusty type of powdery. Maybe I am being too harsh, definitely not a bad scent, doesn’t feel as synthetic as some others I have. I would say 4-5 out of 10. Not a fantastic fragrance but not awful. Just middle of the road and different.

Really like this rhubarb orange and wood I don't think a true night fragrance I think night means rich dark smell for this one. Almost smoky orange rhubarb soapy mystic that's words that come to mind. Very different it has a yummy I can't stop smelling my arm vibe. I wanted something different and this is different. If you are clean clean fragrances person this will prob be to dark for u. But if your like me and have tired it all then u will like the feeling this gives u.

i've passed by this in discounters for years and finally gave it a try about a year ago. man oh man, this fragrance surpassed my expectations. A modern fouger with the sweetness of the rhubarb note make this fragrance so different from any other fragrances ive smelled. performance is average but the scent itself really drives me back to wanting me to smell and wear it more and more. for only $20 youre really getting a fragrance with high quality.

This is a very bold fragrance and it is on the unusual side. The rhubarb and bitter orange really stand out. I would say this isn't for everyone but it is good and you can blind buy this if you're an Azzaro fan. This is rich and dark. I almost get dried fruit or dates but I think that might just be the rhubarb piercing through. It's very good and different from the usual fragrances out there. I really like this one! I give this a 9.2/10

Output is pure bitter orange. In a few minutes quiets down and appears rhubarb and cedar. Nutmeg, pepper and vetiver are very discrete. It really is not an exclusively nocturnal fragrance as the name suggests. It is a "jocker" despite being a heaviest citric may be used "day time" and matches all ages. It has high quality, is a "Azzaro"!

Bought this as a blind buy a couple of months ago because I heard good stuff about the Azzaro line. I have worn it a couple of times, but have been busy trying out a lot of samples and decants. I put this on the other night and absolutely loved it!! So glad I have this now. Very pleasing and comforting to wear!! Love it!!

Este perfume para mi es muy interesante, tiene notas que no estan en la base del perfume pero se persiven como la menta un poco de vainilla y algo de florar. A ni ser que algunos de los componentes del perfume provoquen estos aromas. Me gusta mucho y tiene un aura muy masculino. 7.5 de 10.

its almost same as decibel by azzaro...there is strong synthetic and harsh opening and im sure got licorice in it....its very strong...drydown is nice.i prefer elixir and onyx over this.gotta test more

As well described CGV "campari +dracula+orange..." Interesting and unique. It is intense, little tart,fresh. suitable for every season. Moderate sillage and longevity Good price for this one

Very interesting as a unique cheapie. Very bitter and tart at the top. Bitter orange and rhubarb are very prominent in the opening, and it's quite piercing. I've never smelled the original, and I hope to own most of the original Azzaro Pour Homme line. This doesn't smell too barbershop-like. It's piercing for the first 45 minutes or so on my skin, but shortly after that it transitions to this nutmeg powder blanketing over some black pepper. The nutmeg remains on my skin for the rest of the lifespan, and a light cedar sharpness and dryness blend well in the far dry down. I don't know if the vetiver is supposed to come off woody in Pour Homme Night Time. I don't know if it blends with the cedar, but I don't get anything earthy, grassy, or clean. The first 45 minutes projects heavy off my skin, but after that it starts sitting closer to my skin. It lasts about 10-12 hours on my skin, but the nutmeg phase accounts for all but one hour. I wish the opening lasted another hour or so, but for the $19.99 I paid, I'm not really mad. I get some kind of lavender note as well, but it's not really dominant. This seems to be reliant on skin chemistry, so test it out to see how you can wear it. Personally, I wouldn't mind wearing it all year round because the mid and dry down are quite subtle. Could be used for any occasion, day or night. It comes across casual and formal. Potentially signature scent worthy. Can also be used as a curveball scent to change up your fragrance wardrobe every now and then. More masculine than feminine in my opinion, but anyone can wear whatever they choose. This would suit someone in their mid 20s and up; teens and younger men won't appreciate as much. UPDATE: 11:54 PM 4/20/21 (hope y’all had a high day today) The bottle has aged well so far. It’s more barber shop like now, and I love it. The dry down is heavier with some dry vetiver after the nutmeg pepper transition. Great cheapie. If you see it and you like fragrances that have a touch of class or a classic twist, pick this up

I’m on day 3 of wearing this fragrance and I must say #1 it’s a great value #2 it’s a strong scent that lasts a decent amount of time #3 it’s ever evolving from first spray to the dry down, my favorite is the mid to the dry down. The first few minutes is a bit strong for me you get a lot of bitter orange yes it’s bitter it’s not sweet and juicy but also I get a lot of pepper I truthfully don’t know what rhubarb smells like but if I was to guess I would say maybe earthy?? I get some of that from first spray too. But once it settles down a bit the pepper kicks back a couple notches, the nutmeg makes an appearance and the scent becomes more creamy and woody with that sweet vetiver touch I really dig it. I def get that fresh barber shop vibe from this that others have mentioned. Kind of soapy fresh smelling but not too overwhelming like some others because the spice is what sets it apart. I’d rate it a solid 7/10 it’s not the best but it’s not bad by any means and for the price it’s worth a blind buy.

While I cannot say it is a great fragrance I can say it's intriguing. You can certainly smell that bitter orange, it almost smells like an orage with it's leaves still on. The rhubarb is quite out there too and it mixes well with the orange, they often have a common smell yet dissociate at times. That's for the opening anyway. The rest is good though with occasional hints of the original Azzaro pour Homme, kind of like when a movie title is found within the dialogues of that film, that "aaah there it is" moment which immediately ends. They call it Night Time, I would rather call it Evening than Night as it isn't really intense, it's a light dark fragrance if that makes sense. Longevity on me is great, I get a full day and some more. It projects okay, it's not a monster but it's not weak either. Overall it's a good fragrance and for the price you can get it at, I don't think there is any reason to hate it at all.

This is a pleasant surprise. After doing so many sniffs over the past few months it's nice when something comes along that smells different. The opening is a wonderfully fruity orange and rhubarb - and yes the rhubarb smells like rhubarb. As this opening slowly fades the nutmeg comes through (not too strong) and then eventually the cedar. The lovely fruitiness doesn't disappear entirely, it just stays as a nice sweet background. Longevity is fine, about 3 - 4 hours with 2 small sprays. Sillage is heavier in the first hour but becomes moderate at best after that. Azarro Night Time, a distinctive fruity scent with a light cedar drydown. A high 7 out of 10 from me.

I just went back and tested it for the hell of it. The initial opening & blast is actually really nice on my skin. Then it dries down to a synthetic, fruity, unoriginal, pretty awful mess on my skin in the mid. The base calms down and that's where the "night" aspect comes in. It vastly improves on the drydown to the base. So it starts pretty good, dries down pretty bad, then finishes actually fairly nice. Not bad, but definitely not great either. It smells like something my dad would've worn in the 70s or 80s. That's by no means a bad thing, but it's definitely not modern-day either. Overall I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

It's one of my favs from the line only problem I have is I wish that opening stayed around the entire time, that the scent lasted longer and projected more. That bitter orange and rhubarb is so beautiful and unique. I can say I have nothing that smells like this. I thought seeing the remind me frags that vintage was on there (one of my favs) and was going to smell like it. It smells nothing like that lol. This is t for everyone and many will be turned off with this scent profile. My opinion I think this is for the older popular past 30s. This is a big like for me..

Subtle, but I like to wear it. Maybe because it reflects my personality. Not loud, but noticeable. Respecting old heritage, but still being modern. One of best blind buys so far. Looking forward to other APH flankers. Got this and elixir, which is my favourite scent so far. Plus, so far one of few scents where cedar is not invading other notes to my nose. Done right. I wear it in office and had like 4 sprays to my neck and 3 chest. I still found it more softer sillage than one spray Milton Lloyd Invictus-clone, which I could smell even two days after spray.

Blast of rhubarb and orange at the start, dries down to a wood and tobacco (I know that’s not listed as a note but it’s there). Outstanding fragrance. P.S- fragrance is outstanding but woah is it weak in humid weather. I bought this and Drakkar noir on the same day, tried a spray of both and enjoyed both, first day wore DN and it lasted 4-5 hours, tried A NT and within an hour it was gone, not even a skin scent. I live in SE Asia so the humidity usually means less longevity but I expect more than an hour considering Azzaro pour home gives me 4-5 hours.

In the world of cheapies, it's rare that you come across something unique. This is one of those unicorns.. The opening massive dose of tart, fruity, vegetal Rhubarb and orange. It stays that way for 30 minutes to an hour and then dries down to a slightly sweet, fruity, sandalwood type drydown with a little creaminess. Blind buy worthy IMO, especially if you're a looking for something different. I don't have anything like this in my collection, and there is a good chance that you don't either.

This is a banger, through in and throughout. Starts off super sharp and bitter with that very green orange and the very mildly sweet rhubarb. Spice heavy in all 3 stages. Drydown is a very comforting spicy citrusy wood kind of vibe. Very unique, almost guaranteed to garner some type of attention. Sillage and performance are both average, 1 meter and 5-6 hours respectively. Should only be worn on a colder night (50 degrees and back). 8.5/10

Sharp citrus start. After that calms down to a not so sharp wood smell. I'm on the fence with this one. I put it in the like category since I'll probably wear this one sometime, however it is kind of boring. Good thing I only paid $18 for a bottle on a blind buy. If all else fails. It'll probably be gifted to my little brother. 5.5/10 since it's not in the dislike category

Purchased a sample vial off of FragranceNet. A nice musky, earthy masculine cologne. The rhubarb note makes it pretty interesting. Definitely a good night out cologne more for a guy 25+. I don’t know if I would go out of my way to spend money on it but I’m far more impressed with this sample than I was with Wanted. It’s good, especially for the price. 8/10

Just realized Night Time was probably intended to be a clone to L'Eau d'Issey Intense but unfortunately resulted in a rather rustic inferior smelling aura of Intense at its worst point which is the first 10-15mins. Don't get me wrong I still kind of like it but after smelling Intense, I feel Azzaro would have done better.

Modern barbershop smell. Old school would be Paco Robanne whereas this is modern and softer like the scent in J Crew Men's Pomade and similar products. Great stuff. As far as bargains go, this is a no brainier. It's classy and unique. I'll take this over the other Azzaro flankers. It's very well blended.

Got a sample vial as a gift. It's really not the powerful clubbing scent it may suggest. While it dries down, gets quite confortable. I get rhuburb, nutmeg and cedar most of the time. I think it's nice, sweet and cosy. Girlfriend's reaction: "yummy". Worth a try.

Very spicey at first, this one smoothly develops into a modern male scent that is suitable on any occasion. It is neither out of place in winter or summer, office or going out, day or night, and may be worn by young or old men. Not a classic, but a nice one. ***

Does remind me of la nuit D issey start out strong but for some reason does not even last 1 hour on me. Thank god i did not pay a lot for it. It will sadly go in my collection a contrary to nuit d issey it shall remain there :(

I don't hear much about this one, but it's very nice. It's fresh and spicy, and I don't have anything else like it. I get the creamy rhubarb and orange on a peppery, woody background. Easy to like and easy on the wallet.

Bitter citrus and dry spices leads to a dirty-dark sensation, and layer of the rhuburb wich is the big deal in this fragrance, makes it to be good. Sillage is as powerfull as the original Azzaro pour Homme.

The moderate voters are those that test with one shot of spray and think it lasts for -7 hours , take your time and bond with this one , you will go back and change your reviews

Earthy woody scent. I don’t get much orange but the woods and pepper really stand out. I like sharp scent profiles so I love this.

This and varvatos vintage made me love the note of rhubarb. I enjoy wearing this fragrance after I get a haircut or I shave.

#683 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as a sprayette to evaluate. I was impressed with the peppery opening of this EDT, but sadly that faded out in ten minutes and what's left was a hint of rhubarb and woodiness, and that didn't make it from 7 to 9 AM. It's pleasant but feeble, and you can certainly wear this anywhere without concern. But if in a couple of hours even you won't know you're wearing it, why would you buy it in the first place? It's not a lot of money, but it's not nothing either. Seventeen versions of "Chrome", one of which, Chrome Extreme EDP, that's worth a damn. The rest such poor performers I wouldn't waste the money. Seven versions of "Wanted", two of which are solidly good scents. Their perfumers can clearly create interesting note combinations. At least two of the "Pour Homme Sensual Blends" had real potential I thought. But they pulled them from the market five minutes after they introduced them. They act like if they decided once and for all to create quality EDPs with good longevity and projection, they'd miss sitting next to the Calvin Klein, Tommy Bahama, Davidoff and Kenneth Cole bottles at Walgreens. They could be more if they decided to be more.

A lot different than I was anticipating, specifically how powdery it is. It's a bit confusing and muddled if I'm honest. The tart rhubarb is nice and sweet, which is contrasted by a really bitter orange, all sitting on a layer of slightly spicy powder. Not convinced it works tbh. Also, if I metaphorically squint really hard with my nose, it ever so slightly resembles a weaker, not so '80s', more palatable and inoffensive Chanel Antaeus + orange Not the biggest fan, 6/10

A little generic sweet, citrus fragrance. It's okay, but nothing groundbreaking. There is no "blood" or "vampire" feel to it like some reviewers said, not even a night time fragrance to me. Maybe the sweetness give it a little depth and that is why it is a night time fragrance to some. To my nose it's mainly the blood orange with some spices. So if you wanna smell like an orange, then go for it..
