Silver Black

Azzaro Silver Black is pure excellent juice. A truly under rated gem. I get apple, citrus and lavender in the opening which lasts a fair bit. The mid notes are a spicy cardamom, trailing into a nice, balanced dry down- I get the patchouli, vetiver, leather n amber along with a rose note which is not listed here but Geraniol is listed in the ingredients on the carton. It projects really strongly for the first couple of hours before settling down a bit. Lasts a good 6 hours plus before slowly fading away although I can smell it on my shirt at the end of the day. I have no idea why fragrantica has 2 sets of notes for Silver Black and Onyx when they are the same fragrance. I have used both and they are identical. I checked with the local Azzaro Distributor and He confirmed what other people have mentioned here- Onyx is the name of the North American version where as it is marketed as Silver Black for the rest of the world. Wonderful confusion. Which genius at Azzaro came up with that stupid idea merits a whole other discussion. Thankfully, Silver Black or Onyx, Francoise Caron did a wonderful job here, taking the spirit of the original Azzaro PH and transplanting it for modern times. A very versatile, comfortable perfume, does not change much from top to dry down, and is suitable for just about any occasion. This is one of my default frags for the days when I cannot make up my mind or I am in a hurry. Truly wonderful Juice. Love it. 8/10

Although I saw numbers of reviewers and comments saying this is the same as “Onyx” which I do have only in small travel spray from years & years ago using it sparingly because I do really love the scent. So I wasn’t 100% convinced till I tried this Silver Black because the ingredients are little different when you compare their both scent profiles side by side. But now that I blind bought it hoping that it will be the same scent, and guess what? IT IS!! 🤩🕺🏻🎶 I do love this modern version of Azzaro with some pronounced juiciness on top with some fruits with some old school DNA in the background. I always love sweet fruity fragrances and this one is NOT those common sweet fragrances by any means but it still has that apple infused fruity nuance instead of cut dry rugged 70’s & 80’s grandpa fragrances. Although as long as those 70’s, 80’s fragrances are done right, I do like and enjoy them like “BelAmi” from Hermes or Chanel “Antaeus”. This one has a very well balanced notes from top to bottom and it doesn’t scream like an old man although I am 53, 😅 I like a bit youthful ones such as this one has that DNA compared to the original Azzaro which I don’t care for. With that said, this fragrance is best suited for a bit more grown up adults in their 30’s and up. This was only CAD$28.95 on FragranceBuy.ca and it was a win for me for sure! 👍🏽👍🏽✨🤩🥳🕺🏻🎶

من این کار رو سال ۱۳۹۴ خریدم بدون تست ، اولش حس یک عطر کلاسیک و قدیمی رو ازش گرفتم و مقداری بابت انتخابم ناراحت بودم اما نکته جالب مقدار بازخورد مثبت و هیجان انگیزی بود که از اطرافیان دریافت کردم ، تقریباً هر وقت این عطر و استفاده کردم حداقل یک نفر اسم ادکلن رو ازم پرسید تا اینکه منو ترغیب کرد به بررسی تخصصی تر و دقیق تر !! باید بگم بعد از زمان دادن به این کار متوجه شدم اونچه به این کار جذابیت داده نت میانی و پایانی این کاره ، ملایم خیلی آرام و شیگ با تلخی و مقداری حالت تند و تیز که من احساسی دارم یک نوع بوی معطر گیاهی رو شامل میشه و همینه که کارو قشنگ جلوه میده ، از نظر بو با آزارو پور هوم قدیمی کاملاً تفاوت داره و به نظرم رسمی تر و با وقارتر شده گرچه نسخه قدیمی پورهوم هم فوق العاده زیبا بود ، بگذریم نت اول کمی سنگین و شاید تند و تیزه هرچه به میانه نزدیک میشیم رایحه بازتر میشه و حسن اختام کار ترکیب مشک و پاتچولی به کار جلوی خوبی داده اگر بالای ۳۰ سال هستید برای زمستان و پاییز مناسبه گرچه خودم تو ۲۵ سالگی استفاده کردم ولی به عنوان یه ادکلن شایسته و با صلابت بهش نگاه میکنم و احتمالا دوباره بره تو لیست خریدم ماندگاری:۸ از ۱۰ پخش بو : ۶ از ۱۰ بازخورد:۸ از۱۰ ارزش خرید بسیار مناسب و منطقی مناسب برای افراد ۳۰ سال ب بالا

When I first smelled this on 2013, I thought Boring... drakkar noir 'fresh'. I liked it but nothing I would consider adding to my collection. 2 years later and missing my dad after he passed away,I was thinking I would grab a bottle of drakkar in his memory. But after trying the new formulation (I think),and silver black, I was reminded more of him after smelling this. I love the opening, which I would describe as a richer ck escape and I love the dry down which I would describe still as drakkar noir 'fresh'. Needless to say I'm loving it overall and will finish it quickly.

Excellent. This is my most used fragrance, because it smells great and is SO versatile. From office to casual, this fragrance covers all bases. Sweet, spicy, cool and refreshing...It's 30% classic, with a 70% modern coolness. When I can't decide on a fragrance to use, my eye catches AZZARO SILVER BLACK on the shelf and the choice is simple.
