Solarissimo Marettimo

I find myself reaching for this one more than one would expect. I use this one quite a lot for gym/daily wear during the cooler months. However, it's good for any time of the year. I have all 3 of this collection, and this one is by far my favorite. I would label it as a lightly spiced aquatic. It's not a crazy complicated scent. It's beauty is in it's simplicity. For me the best aspect of it is how incredibly smooth and soft it smells. Very pleasant all around. Doesn't last very long, but that is common for this category of scents. For the price, it's a steal. I really like the bottle too. There is nothing wild about it, but it's kind of classy. I don't understand why this doesn't have a better score. There is nothing to dislike about this.

I don't get the Aqua Di Gio compariaon,but this is the closest Fragrance to Bvgari Aqua Marine that Ive ever had. Its so similar that I might not even bother purchasing the Bvlgari. I think its a little more fresh and with a slightly better performance (not by much) and the sea notes are not as strong. I got about 7 straight hours of good performance and it really shines in the hot humid temperatures. Ive scrolled past this one for years on discounters and Im glad I took the plunge because since the Youtubers have hyped every flanker of The Aqua line so much they're now hard to come by and a little overpriced. I just hope no one on that platform starts to hype this one

For me this was love at first smell. I had ordered a sample because I saw the bottle and was drawn to it but, I didn't want to blind buy this cheapie. Again, I loved the bottle so I get stumble across a sample and fall deep in love, instantly purchased a bottle. I have nothing like this in my collection at all. Its extremely sexy, handsome, confident, mature, professional but, still a bad ass so please don't get it twisted. This is a gem! So is Favingana!!! Drool!!!

Do NOT believe the naysayers they just do not want you to find quality frags that don;t cost a lot.This is one of them, people saying NO longevity are needing to get their noses tested.This frag is excellent it smells fresh,citrusy,floral and sea like. Two sprays 3 at most should be all you need this stuff lasts and I washed my hands 3 times in 8 hours and could still smell it from 4 inches distance on my hands. It is truly a great fragrance and one hidden gem!

It opens with a bright lemon, goes through an aquatic phase, and dries into a Woody, floral base. Others in this range are very good, but this one is just wonderful, the notes work so well with one another, it's so clean and uplifting, a great Spring/Summer fragrance, longevity is decent. I love it.

Blind buy belter, fresh, citrusy, aquatic with a hint of cucumber I’m sure. As of now it’s under £18 - really worth the jump. This isn’t ground breaking and yes it has a bit of synthetic vibe (it’s cheap what do you expect?) but a definite safe fresh buy.

Best spicy aquatic for the money! I read all the reviews I have 3 bottles..Just in case , these people are fools. No one can even it compare it to another similar frag enough said. Buy it before I get the rest!

For the last many new releases some people keep voting dislike and that they resemble Creed Aventus amongst others.. Honestly what's the point? Some moderation from Fragrantica staff would be highly welcome!

Good all-round summer scent. Has more longevity that most blue frags and a very handsome beach vibe to it. The scent profile pyramid is spot on for once. Worth having in the collection.

This scent is amazing! Just pick it up for the summer, you can't go wrong with this one.

Solarissimo Marettimo is definitely a nice surprise! I get a nice citrusy bittersweet opening, very sunny and airy. It feels like it fizzes on the skin, like carbonated water. The sweet note in the citrus accord is definitely the citron, though this is not overly sweet. I then get a very nice salty marine notes, very much alike Bvlgari Aqva Marine, but without the melon/cucumber accord - it makes it less sweet and less playful, in a way - with some kind of green undertone probably due to the vetiver. It's not herbaceous, but it helps steer this one clear from the "beach" type of aquatic fragrances - to me, it reminds me more of a rocky coast, somehow mineral. Too bad its longevity is rather poor, I get no more than 3/4 hours before it vanishes from my skin. Luckily, it can be easily found on discounters. Azzaro Solarissimo Marettimo is a strong like for me, and I'm now curious to try Solarissimo Levanto in the future, if I can find it. My bottle's batch code is 19322; I like the simple design of the bottle paired with its beaufitul fading pattern of a very nice hue.

Marettimo is a mildly sweet aquatic citrus with a clean fresh vibe and a hint of cedar. Could wear all year but great for sunny Summer days. The heat will kind of suck the performance dry though if you sweat it off so maybe spray on skin and clothing if it's above 75°. Other than potentially sweating it off the longevity is surprisingly around 5-6 hours off one spray. Silage is there but depends on environmental factors and will vary depending on such. I've had it be a skin scent and other times project well and leave a light trail at maybe three feet. So a nice personal bubble, people won't be smelling you from afar unless you get trigger happy. Yeah it's your typical fresh blue but it does have it's own character that lets it stand out from the pack but not too much. The bottle is a good heavy glass with a quality wooden cap too, giving it a simplified aesthetic that looks modern. Azzaro comes through again.

This is a well done woodsy, aromatic, aquatic fragrance. Citrus at the top gives it a bright feel. There's also a bit of sweetness up top as well. Once the bright citrus at top fades, it's really a woodsy aromatic combo of cedar and labdanum with a bit of vetiver to give the fragrance some bitterness and depth. It smooths out after about 30-45 min. Even though this isn't quite what I gravitate too, I appreciate the blending and slightly mature vibe it gives. It's not a fragrance you wear to get compliments but it's smooth, woodsy, and clean smelling. This is a nice fragrance to have if you're a collector. For the casual user with only a few frags in their collection, not sure this is necessary.

Absolutely gorgeous, bright, strong. Fruity but not lemon, I want to say cucumber but perhaps it's the citron. Definitely get the salty smell and the wood comes out at a moderate distance. The wood with the citrus is absolutely addicting and I really can't stop wanting to smell it. Starts more unisex with the sweet and aquatic vibes with light cedar, but gets more masculine after about 2-3 hours when something a little deeper and darker comes out. The biggest issue with this one is probably that it is hard to clean off, but that could be a plus to some. Buy this and combine it with Chrome for the ultimate easy fresh Azzaro combo.

This has become one of my favourites during the winter months of 2022. Its quite a lovely sea scent with citrus undertones. Its cheap and performance isn't too long and the scent itself is relatively linear and basic. But I wear this very casually rather than for occasions. Bottle is nice and sprayer is actually good quality. This is probably my favourite from the azzarro house of perfumes.

Nice fresh soapy base. Fresh citrus close to ADG at first, then much sweeter with some woods. There is a slight sea note but doesn't last after the opening with the citrus. Opening doesn't last long at all, but it's fine if you like ceder and flowers. Not my favorite.

Nice scent, but the only thing I can smell is the sea water accord. I only last about an hour.

I got this from the, as of the time of writing, in extremis British department store Debenhams as one of the few fragrances remaining that had not either been bought by my fellow ghouls or taken off the shelves by the Designer Brands for sale in healthier outlets. The perfume shelves were a mess, the only things left were a few things that were mysteriously still not discounted (presumably under Brand order, Gucci conspicuous by its presence) and one shelf containing the consolidated minor brand bottles. In apocalyptic despair someone had opened up one of these boxes as a makeshift tester: This is a pleasant Mediterranean himbo fragrance. A very simple but nice journey you have probably smelt a thousand times before and have no objection to again-- a lemon yellow citrus sunrise (if that is a citron then maybe we are nearer to Tel Aviv than Ibiza), then a salty caloney marine heart, both of which die away decently quickly with the woody notes from the coastal cedars. Not something you would go out looking for at great price, but nice and I do not have many aquatics so I am glad I got it and will probably wear quite a bit. My mother likes it.

My father gave this to me because he blind bought it and didn't like it. I had a feeling I wouldn't like it either. It's okay, strong performance but too sweet for my style. It falls into the Invictus catagory. Gives me a headache.

The opening hits you with that same lemony note in cheapies that we're all familiar with by now. When you get over that you're left with a salty woody fragrance for a few hours that won't offend anyone. Not bad.
