Secret Mission

wow... smelled something similar before but not sure when or where or who on. Similarities above have listed zino, and attitude so perhaps there. Amazing florals and some oud... no heavy citrus or amber... to me this a woody floral musk of the best kind. Protection is mild and low. Skin scent after 1 hr, and that sticks on skin and clothes for about 6 to 7 hrs. Perfect for my tastes and also for occasions you would wear this... which is whenever you want to feel mysterious. Dates, important work events, this will leave an impression. I always wanted attitude and was gifted Attitude Extreme so I never pursued the original thinking I had time to finish my bottle first. I was wrong... having never owned the original, I can't comment on likeness to secret Mission. I can say that in my collection, this is more preferable to wear than some others in this category such as the armani codes and zegna intenso...i love this so much more. What it does remind me of in my collection? open is similar to kokorico or fendi assoluto, dry down is almost similar to the dryer sheet vibe in mb individuel combined with the woody notes of Starwalker - result is smooth! I bought secret Mission from a US based discounter. Good price but worth the exchange rate and the shipping to Canada? Yes! Yes! Yes! I wouldn't pay retail but this was still half that. This is the best baldessarini I have tried so far (nicer to my nose than original, ambre or del mar).

I received my bottle today and I bought it mainly because some people had written that it smells similar to Attitude and I really miss my Attitude. I definitely got the Attitude vibe the moment I sprayed it on my skin but after not even 1 minute it changed to something synthetic that is not even close to Attitude. It smells okey when I stick my hand into my nostrils but otherwise I cannot feel any smell from this one. The projection is really weak. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 4/10 Projection: 6/10

At first I didn't really like this fragrance, but hey... after spending some time with it, I find myself loving it more and more. Modern, masculine, elegant and mature. The first moment I smelled Secret Mission I thought of Armani Attitude, they are really that close. Since Attitude is discontinued, this Baldessarini can bacame a very good alternative. Scent - 9/10 Projection - 7/10 Longevity - 7/10 A Good One! Try!

Very surprised to to see no vanilla listed or at least tonka bean. It certainly has a gourmand vibe, sweet like a cake or pastry, some spice. Giorgio Armani Attitude with less spice. It could have been a flanker it's so close. Considering the prices of Attitude today (if you can find it) Secret Mission is a no-brainer if you fancy that type of scent.

One of my brothers’ signature, I love Baldessarini Secret Mission. This perfume is absolutely unique and long lasting, although it comes out strong in the beginning it becomes a bit lighter later on but still a heavy manly perfume. For the price tag of this perfume and longevity I would go as far to say I prefer it more than Dior Sauvage.

Absolutely love this as a replacement for Armani Attitude. Prices seem to be increasing a lot on this which makes me think it's being discontinued, can anyone confirm?

I found it with 80% discount so I bought it for a present. Very manly and versatile scent, especially for those people who enjoy pronounced lavender note. It has the same feeling as -for example- some montblanc scents, quite harsh and synthetic but it's pleasant. I could wear it. It's not so well blended as for example the smooth Baldessarini Strictly Private. It's like I've smelt a scent from another house.. I had high expectations from it. The performance is moderate, about 4 hours. It's not so weak as some people say here. There is some resemblance with Burberry London for Men and Oriflame Architect which I had both. Generally it's a safe masculine scent.

Masculine lavender chypre. Clean lavender, soft cypress, with powdery spicy cardamom, and green herbal zest of basil and bergamot on a woody musky background. This is a modernized chypre. Those old, powdery barbershop scent made more suitable for the current time. I feel like I've smelled this many times of the past. It smells like a scent paper. Really. Like a nice-smelling piece of paper/cardboard. A nice, inoffensive smell, more suitable for the mature. A spring-time kind of scent. Suitable for work. Average performance. "Like".

Secret Mission is a nice, fresh spicy and floral scent. Comes in a quality bottle. It has a pleasant character. However, this lacks potency in all departments, it becomes a skin scent after 2 hours - shame.

a nice scent and to me very close to Zino by Davidoff! and very classy scent after all thanks to Baldessarini's nose!

I would call it a hidden gem only if, had the 2 more hours of longevity.

I blind bought this, and initially thought it similar to Ed Hardy Love and Luck. I have sprayed both and still find similarities in a salty nuance, but note that Secret Mission focuses more on cypress while Ed Hardy is more focused on sweet citrus notes. Secret Mission sits close to skin from what I can tell, it’s nice and relatively safe. I don’t think I can recommend this fragrance, because Love and Luck is a better option IMO. Performance on Secret Mission also lacks a bit, considering it is pricier than other cheaper options, I have to say seek something different in the price range, nice but nothing special.

I love Armani Attitude and thus I was brought here. I checked out reviews and took the plunge on Secret mission. There seems to be hope at first sniff. The top and middle remind me of a variant of Attitude (again - variant) but the dry-down continues this scent down a dead end path.. Where with Attitude you had the strong notes of coffee and warming spicy note of cardamon Offset by Lemon and Lavender respectively, with this scent there is none of that. Bergamot seems to be the only shot this frag had at impersonating Attitude and having that little punch to it but the Bergamot is too weak in this composition to be worth noting. The scent isnt bad - it is a respectable fragrance that has the darker qualities of an Attitude but it doesnt have everything it needs to be your replacement. Attitude remains a unique and elusive treasure.

To me, It's one of the worst fragances in the market. I'm totally agree with "The Monaco". Light,light.... Borin,Boring.... And in my opinion: Cheap, cheap.... UPDATE: Yes, most of my reviews says: "cheap, don't buy.." This is because that is my true opinion...... To me, Pure Cofee is also light, boring, plastic and not so cheap like this. If you like this kind of smells, try New Haarlem (Bond no 9). If you like Oud, try Dark Aoud or Black Aoud (Montale). Although it is a bit more expensive ... Scent 2/10 Longevity 4/10 Sillage 3/10

Really nice spicy-woody lavender, made quite smoky with the cypress and I imagine some of the listed oud (but it's not a strong oud, more of an accent to the cypress in making that smokey accord) - enough that I was expecting to see an "incense" note when I looked up the pyramid. Really well-balanced in my opinion. Unfortunately the abysmal performance problem is the same off my skin as reported below (or I have gone anosmic to it), as after only an hour I have to bury my nose into my skin to smell it again.

Well, for children or for those who have not ever tasted a perfume really ... If you like this kind of smells, try New Haarlem (Bond no 9). If you like Oud, try Dark Aoud or Black Aoud (Montale). I have mixed feelings about the Secret Mission. I like the scent, but I must to admit... At first it looks like a cheap sports shower gel. Men using this one should be very confident and confortable with themselves. This is a very masculine fragrance and i think that some guys could bear this one and look classy. The base notes are better than the inicial ones, it gets more confortable and cool after some time. Longevity It's ok, and projection It's good.

To avoid any confusion, this does NOT smell anything like Burberry London or a darker version of. That would be Bvlgari MIB, to my nose. That comment actually led me to blind buy this, but not a total let down.. This is almost identical to Mugler Pure Shot / Pure Energy. Although i was hoping for better longevity , it's still great for summer months! 8/10
