Marshmallow & Lavender

It's so funny to me. Everytime that I tested this, just spray and sniff, I didn't get it. I didn't care for it. But alas it was on my rotation because wearing my perfumes is my penance for blind buying, lol. It smelled absolutely beautiful after I overpayed and gave it a half hour to heat up on skin. Now my only complaint is that it doesn't have the projection I would have liked. So this is definitely office friendly. You'll enjoy your scent bubble without subjecting others to it.

I just received my bottle today, and to my surprise I really like this! Upon the first spray, I get a light buttery vanilla (think Jousset's Accident a la Vanille), but once it settles on the skin the sweet, marshmallow notes pop out and I find it to be quite lovely. There's just enough lavender to keep it from being too sweet and/or juvenile. I won't need to layer this because I find it quite enjoyable on its own. Leaves a very flirty, yet beautiful sillage.

This is a very fresh take on marshmallow! Not heavy or overly sweet/edible. I absolutely notice the lavender, but it’s also light and airy, not bitter or herbal. This is clean, fresh, mildly sweet. I almost detect a minty note? Perfect for a sweet summer scent that’s not heavy or cloying whatsoever.

In my opinion this smells like you were to open a bag of marshmallows and there was lavender at the bottom of the bag. This lasts so long in my skin. It’s very cloying but in a good way 🤩

Finally the perfect fluffy marshmallow perfume! Sweet and powdery and very gourmand. The lavender starts to come through very nicely on the dry down. Not harsh but it adds a soft spice.

Light, fluffy, airy marshmallow scent. Great for bedtime coziness or layering with other scents. A tiny bit of lavender in the dry down but very sweet.

Firstly, this does not smell like Mochi Milk, but I'd put it in the same family of fragrance. This is a very sweet, simple, and powdery gourmand. The lavender is not overly strong, but it is primarily a lavender scent, followed by marshmallow. To me, it's well-blended. The fruitiness does not read distinctly peachy and it is more fruity than Mochi Milk in the opening and mid. It makes me think of a very sweet lavender-flavored marshmallow, dusted in powdered sugar. The fruitiness does brighten it up a little bit, otherwise I think this would be too soft and sleepy. I think some would consider this a safe or boring scent, but I consider it a successful blind buy. Update: I did let this one go, but recently got a decant of Marshmallow Musk. The Banana Republic is significantly sweeter, stronger, and much heavier on the lavender than MM, but the powdery marshmallow is somewhat similar.

I bought this as a blind buy because I love marshmallow and lavender. So together I thought it would be wonderful. However to my nose, I only get very sweet marshmallow with a twinge of buttery facets. No lavender. At first I was like "Blech... I gotta sell this." But then I started to layer it with everything and it wasn't so bad. I started to crave it because of that sweet sugar, fat combination. Now it's in my collection to stay just to see what crazy layering combos I can create. I have Marshmallow Musk from Maison IFRÉ and the smell nothing alike to me. MM smells like smooth sweet musk. Lovely. But ML is more sweet more gourmand.

I like this! I got it at Burlington for $30. It's bit redundant for my collection, though, as it smells like Epicò's Vanì Charnel on my skin, and I have a dupe of that. I don't get any lavender on my skin or the test strip, so I may try layering this with one of my lavender-heavy fragrances just out of curiosity. I'd say if you're wanting Vanì Charnel for cheaper, this would be a great dupe, with the caveat that it lasts a couple hours less than the OG. I'm glad I bought it, but probably won't repurchase as I'm either going to buy the OG again or my other dupe (Dua).

To me this smells similar to Vaniglia del Madagascar by I Profumi di Firenze, with the slightest banana cream undertone in the far back. Not artificial jasmine-like banana, but the creamiest banana cream you can think of. Just a hint though. This is sweet, fluffy, and light. Great for layering or great by itself if you need a simple sweet scent.

I smell it when I'm spraying it-- and that's it. A lovely fragrance but perhaps not best suited on my skin. I honestly can't even smell it on my clothes. Makes me sad & I'm thinking about gifting this bc it's too light for my taste.

It smells light and fluffy. I can smell the musk, marshmallow and a tiny amount of lavender. I can see this layering beautifully with Princess as they are both cozy and airy although Princess is my favorite.

I don’t get any peach on my skin, but I do get a nice marshmallow with a touch a lavender. However I don’t know if I’d ever want to walk around smelling like a marshmallow as a guy.

Definitely not one I will ever buy again. It smells cheap, and as many other reviews say, there’s no lavender. I don’t even pick up any peach. To me it smells a lot like one of the Glade vanilla air fresheners. It may have even been the vanilla + lavender air freshener, but it’s been too long to recall exactly. At first spray there’s a pretty sharp, strong note, but then it dries down and the fragrance disappears quite quickly. It’s not exactly bad, but not good either. I’ll likely gift it to someone who would actually wear it, because even with layering I don’t think I will.

This was disappointing. I was looking forward to a fluffy gourmand lavender, but the first couple hours of wear are just sweet musky peach. Additionally, the performance isn't great. If you like peach, this might be worth a shot.

“Marshmallow and Lavender.” WHERE IS THE LAVENDER? Why is it 60% PEACH?!

Oh god no. Blind bought this, and it's a "NOPE" for me. This is just sickeningly sweet. Way too much marshmallow and vanilla. And then adding an herbal aromatic lavender with it? Now way jose. It just doesn't work....it smells weird, cheap and just plain wrong. It doesn't even smell like a perfume.....more like abstract messy art, but not in a pleasant way.

It’s not as interesting or complex as Marshmallow Musk. More sugary than aromatic, more marshmallow than lavender. It also sits very close to the skin. I’ll need to come back to this one. The name promises two of my favorite notes intertwined and I’m sadly underwhelmed. I also really hate that the bottle is yellow, lol.

There is something in here that smells like burnt popcorn. It's horrible.

So I am not an expert at describing fragrances but I will say, this fragrance feels like a fluffy sweet calming hug in a bottle! It opens up sweet and slightly powdery it begins to settle into a skin scent so quickly that I could not point out what I was smelling! As soon as I stopped obsessing and dissecting the notes off my skin the magic began! the gentle sweetness from the marshmallow and vanilla have a fluffy texture the lavender reminds me of my favorite Boba lavender chai tea, very comforting, gentle, and calming. I apologize that I cannot compare to the fragrances listed I do not own them but I do know it’s a pleasant scent for someone who enjoys cozy comfort fragrances, curled up with a blanket reading a book, as far as projection it wafts within my scent bubble, longevity is such an individual thing I don’t think this fragrance is meant to be beast mode 8 hr walk into the room first type, this one is everything cozy 😉

This opens up very sweet for me. Same type of marshmallow in Marshmallows by Ellis Brooklyn or Yum Boujee Marshmallow, however it doesn’t have the bitter woody edge muskiness that those have on my skin. When both of those dry down on me, I can’t do it. Instead the sweetness is kind of buttery here of the sugar and marshmallow. I like it best when I get wafts rather than smelling up close. Up close it’s a little too cloying and buttery, but when I do smell it, the whiffs I catch make this smell a little bit like a Peaches & Cream Buttercream Cake at a baby shower or something. Pleasant fruity peach sweetness but not something I would reach for because of the density of the sweetness unless I layered with a fresh cold red apple mist or maybe an airy whipped cotton candy to evoke summer fair vibes because of the popcorn buttery vibe this slightly gives . A gourmand lover might really appreciate this.

This is a light, fluffy and plush marshmallow which is my favorite type of sweet gourmand perfume, but for some reason, I don't love it. The peach in here makes this a little bit reminiscent of Mochi Milk by Dedcool but I think that one is nicer. There's something mildly annoying to me about the musk in here. Still searching for my perfect marshmallow, so far my favorites are Princess by Killian and Dapper's Vanilla Dreams.

💲15 for the 1oz at Burlington 👃If you have smelled Soap & Glory’s “Peach Please” lotion, that is what this mostly smells like. A very musky peach. The fragrance, however has an added sweetness from the marshmallow & a dusting of lavender powder. It is on the softer side, but it does last long. What lingers around until the very end is the musk.

Not sure what I'm getting but it's very pleasant, I do get like a cheesy buttery note that I get from phlur heavy cream in a good way though. Someone said they are getting rubber or burnt or something and I get none of that. Lasts 1 hour but I just bought it and it may get better on longevity as time goes by.I got this for $25 at Burlington.

As soon as someone reviews this, pls pls let us know how strong or light that lavender is! Notewise, other than the lavender, this appears to be similar to Dedcool's Mochi milk 🤞. Really considering just blind buying but I'll be patient and wait for a few reviews

FYI - Check your local Burlington before dropping money on this full-price or on the second-hand market. I got mine for $25. I like it, it smells slightly buttery to me, but not too realistic, so it's still enjoyable!

If this ends up smelling anything like marshmallow musk, my year will be made! Someone please report back when you try it! lol

Maybe I got a bad bottle. Smells horribly sour I hate every second of it.
