Sandalwood & Musk

Just got this a few weeks ago and finally got around to wearing it today. So far it has exceeded my expectations, this thing is a beast on my skin......it's going on 7 hours and i can still get whiffs of it hitting me. I move around a lot and the sillage on this is filthy, i walk around and smell it in the air everywhere, not to mention people tell me they knew it was me from down the block. This scent is very unisex for sure.....strong musky smell but i enjoy musk, some people might not, so stay away if musk isn't your thing. Definitely perfect for the winter, i don't know if i would rock this in the summer, but a mild spring day very possible. I recommend 12 sprays if you want it to perform. smell: 7/10 projection and sillage: 8/10 value: 9/10

should be named iris & amber. very purple-smelling fruity orris/violet. then sweet lilac & woody cedar. dry-down is less interesting and more masculine. vintage vibes. overall very good for the price.

Straight (iris) baby powder. You give us a blue bottle and a warm wool sweater name like “Sandalwood and Musk.” I’m expecting a masculine leaning unisex with fall/winter warmth. I’m hit with a bougie, boxy built, 50 year old lady with a burgundy bob and big sunglasses, who spends more of her husbands retirement money in one day than most of us do in our lifetime. It’s a beautiful fragrance if that’s your thing, but the packaging for this entire scent line is an ABOMINATION.

From the initial spray I get citrus & iris and quickly dries into a skin scent amber. I don't get any sandalwood. Doesn't last at least not on my skin. Bummed but for the price I paid, can't expect more.

Good quality like other BR fragrances, but I am disappointed in this one. It's marketed unisex, the name sounds very attractive, the notes sound great, the bottle is beautiful, but unfortunately all I really pick up on is a good amount of lilac and a little bit of musk. It's too feminine for me as a guy. This one is an Extrait de Parfum concentration, but it didn't seem any stronger to me the couple times I wore it compared to the BR EDP fragrances. This one was also $30 at Burlington for the full size bottle instead of the usual $20.

Nothing but baby powder. Not at all what I was expecting.

The dry down reminds me of explorer ultra blue which I hate the smell and I don't know how this is being compare with Ganymede.

Smells just like Lou Lou by Cacharel except Lou Lou smells and performs better. Quite feminine imo, but its nice. Also reminds me slightly of Joop! Homme. Its slightly powdery but NOT "Baby Powder!" Im also getting ZERO "Sandlewood". The name "Sandlewood & Musk" seems WAAAAY OFF to my nose. Its quite floral, a bit spicey and powdery, Like a Lou Lou and Joop Homme combo. Very 1990's style

I found this at Perfumania and enjoyed this enough to pay nearly full price, but I waited and found it for under $30 at Burlington. As an iris and lilac lover, I fell in love with this scent immediately. This is an iris, lilac and musk scent. The sandalwood is soft and quiet grounds the florals, but this is truly a floral musk, and to me it is beautiful.

At first blast it reminds me of a jammy oud, eventually becoming a warm musky musk, not white clean musk, but not exactly dirty either. Perfectly uni-sex, cooler weather. I don’t really get the sandalwood. The musk ends like a fluffy musk. It’s nice 👍🏽 I love sandalwood, I’m not getting it here. It’s more like jammy oud and musk.

Grabbed this as a blind buy at Burlington for cheap and on me its all dirty musk very similar to the musk in musc ravageur but without the spices or lavender. On my wife its very different lots of lilac and musk so shes keeping it.

This is not named correctly...it’s got a rounded herbalness to it. Reminds me of Mugler Aura but softer, like if you sprayed it on yesterday (Aura is a beast!). It’s good for when I want subtle Aura vibes.
