Leviathan

This stuff is amazing, I only wear it for special occasions and colder weather (I live in state with only 1 season - summer). Notes spot on, and the blend is great. First time I wore this, I got a few compliments, one of the firsts from wearing a fragrance. :O Highly recommended.

Fragrance sings of coffee and leather, with a hint of something smoky. I had been looking for a coffee fragrance for a while, but this is just what I needed!

Unique, warm, smokey, somewhat sweet but not too much, i love it.

I truly appreciate when a company focused on wet shaving producing aftershave, soaps and even occasionally an actual fragrance throw out something for fans of both hobbies. The issue being that these brands do cater to a specific market, the people who tend to put BRUT, Old Spice and Clubman on a pedestal. As a result the offerings tend to dabble in the old school realm. This creation however is perhaps meant to be more mainstream perfumery, artistic yes, but I don’t think I can call it good. The leather and coffee dominate this fragrance, but something about it is headache inducing. This is not an expensive fragrance, so I am not disappointed that I gave it a try, I have attempted to wear this twice now, and I don’t know who this would appeal to? Performance is good, projects well also, stays pretty linear and just never really settles to anything I enjoy. Inky darkness indeed.

Judging by the first spray on the skin, I can tell it has a really strong coffee (almost cappuccino and sweet coffee kind of coffee note) to it. This accompanied by a leather note that is for some reason extremely synthtic smelling and smells like kerosene/petroleum (in a very off putting way even though I love the smell of petroleum). This coffee and leather smell is hugged by a bruning wood note. On the drydown I can only smell a faint kerosene scent almost as a skin scent. The longetivity is also really bad on my skin.
