Laurakimou!

I typically don’t gravitate toward sweet/ fruity scents but this one did take me back to middle school days of going to Victoria’s Secret and spraying myself with every body splash in the store; particularly Strawberries and Champagne. Although Laurakimou! is extremely sophisticated and sexy, and unlike most fruity/ strawberry scents I’ve smelled recently. The effervescent champagne and strawberry top notes hang on well after you first spray it, and they are rounded out by the magnolia. The leather and musk is what makes this so special, it’s not a deep leather but it grounds the scent perfectly. I’m addicted to it. The lasting power for me is about 5 hours which is pretty good.

Absolutely incredible fragrance. The best from Baruti. It's a sparkling and strawberry/fruity fragrance. Very feminine. It smells elegant and playful at the same time - something that I feel like is hard to achieve. Very well blended as well, there are no overpowering notes. Total date night fragrance from its' elegance, yet the fun and playful fruitiness gives it a versatility to wear in more casual everyday settings as well. Mass appealing too, I find it hard to think anyone would not like this smell.

Easily the best strawbery scent in the market

An ultra-cheerful, youthful, playful scent. It practically sparkles. I get a bright pairing of strawberry and a gentle leather nuance, clean florals, and an effervescent lift. Strangely, it’s not listed, but I also pick up a faint licorice-like impression. This is vivid enough to genuinely make young girls happy; pure upbeat energy. Strawberry is a tricky note, and here it doesn’t read like fresh fruit so much as strawberry chewing gum. The scene is: you’ve dropped a strawberry bath bomb into the tub (fizzing like crazy) jumped right in, and you’re sipping a "made-for-you Rossini" with little strawberry pieces floating inside. It's sweet , the strawberry and magnolia give it that sweetness and the champagne add a bit of "booziness" , too sweet but a solid pick for the winter tbh .

I smell salty, vanillic, a little flowery, musky leather. On my skin there is sweetness but it's opposed to the dark, almost bitter leather notes, like light and darkness. This fragrance stays right in the middle. It reminds me of Ramon Monegal's Flamenco for its duality. Strawberry notes in perfume are a mystery to me, I never really imagine the real fruit but I get the Victoria Secret thing someone mentioned. Fruity body mist leaked in a suede bag. If you like this kind of contrast, take a sniff of this. I personally find such oppositions highly emotive.

What is this nostalgic little find?! It’s a melange between Clinique Happy, Tommy Girl and an Escada fragrance from our past, but remastered in 4k and refined. The nostalgia doesn’t end there, it dries down into a Narciso type musk. These types of scents still make me feel the same, happy in another era except now we sip champagne instead of Fruitopia. Fruity, fresh, tame floral musk & pure Y2K vibes. 🫠

I want to love this... But the longevity is so poor that I can't justify a full bottle. The opening is bright and floral and fruity but is completely gone in less than 2 hours which makes me sad because otherwise this is a huge winner for me

Strawberry and musk for me. I catch very little of anything else. Too fruity/sweet for me as well. Certainly feminine but wouldn't enjoy it on someone else either. Hard pass.

It smells like chewed (for way too long) strawberry gum stuck on a clean dog's fur.
