I remember receiving a sample of this some time ago and did not really understand the fragrance at first. It just seemed confusing and self-contradictory. I re-discovered what was left of the sample about a week ago in one of my pockets and have not been able to put it down since. This is the third day of me wearing it and honestly, i can't stop smelling my wrist. It is a paradoxical perfume just like the description says. I don't know what was it that I found so repelling about it at first because right now, I'm smelling it, and its mostly smokey vetiver and with a soft touch of tuberose. It really is quite soft! I think I'll consider purchasing a bottle, something tells me that Voyance and I will become friends ;)

It maybe a simple fragrance but it is very wearable.I usually steer clear of musky but there are a couple of exceptions. This being one. The tuberose, musk and sandalwood are perfectly balanced with each. No note dominates. Tuberose is a diva note but she has been charmed and caressed by the other notes until she purrs. With time the wood notes start to surface.I can't say there are strong. A perfectly unisex scent that is not too sweet and some how manages not to smell heavy and cloying. Good sillage and longevity.

A fascinating paradoxical fragrance with the softest - feather like dry-down. Kinda dirty, kinda smokey, kinda fresh! Had a similar experience to a few other reviewers, felt a bit surprised at first when i put it on the skin and thought it was not for me (tuberose is generally speaking a tough one), but now, suddenly, it seems to have bonded with my skin (pardon the lack of technicality) and actually smells DELIGHTFUL. So happy I discovered this brand. Can't wait to try more of their stuff!

Dark and dense woods with dashes of wood smoke and a light dose of tuberose to lighten the mix. The floral note plays a minor role in this extrait; it's really all about the wood notes Massive sillage and longevity on me. A unisex that leans slightly masculine to my nose. I think I will like this more in cooler weather; heat and humidity don't seem to bring out its best qualities. Still, I give it two thumbs up because I love the quality and uniqueness.

My favorite tuberose so far, considering that I normally don't particularly enjoy tuberose fragrances. This perfume is tuberose centric and yet not overly creamy and sweet. It is a modern take on tuberose with a touch of green earthy notes, reminiscent of Chinese black tea. I actually love it and will consider buying it asap.

Opens with woody and aromatic tuberose that comes off pretty green As it's drying it becomes even more green, aromatic and earthy - vetiver taking over Tuberose is much more noticeble in the sillage, whereas up close is mostly aromatic and earthy vetiver Together they are masterfully blended in a beautiful fragrance

Quality and uniqueness - as somebody said below. Very unusual fragrance, not exactly suitable for a blind buy. Definitely gives you this fresh laundry but also smokey vetiver type feeling. Honestly, not getting that much tuberose! Still, would happily wear!

Obsessed. Transports me to getting out of a cloth-seated car as a child, covered in spray-on sunscreen and bug spray in the Kings Island parking lot by the water park during the summertime. Wet, fresh, almost plastic.

This is genuinely intriguing. I’ve never smelled tuberose quite like this before: indolic, yet clean, lightly earthy and woody. Vetiver is present, but not in an aggressively rooty way; more herbal and slightly sparkling, adding a measured depth to the composition. The surprising part is a spice that reads almost ginger-like to me; an opening, sinus-clearing brightness; and whatever is creating that effect, I love it. Note: I don’t understand the comparisons to Nuit Bakélite. That one leans far more into vegetal facets and stemmy sap; this wears as a fresher, more airy tuberose. This is not a love for me. It's nice, but somehow the tuberose and musk elements don't hit the sweet spot for me. To be fair though, I did just use a sample in the search for a super unique super sweet scent; and it just doesn't compare to Melkmeisje on that front. It has a nice nutty flavour though. Upon second test this is also a love for me. So rich, intense, woody and nutty. Interesting how sampling can produce different thoughts at different times.. At first, it was certainly a "No". I finally got a hint of the bubblegum aspect some say they get with tuberose. Hasn't happened before. Here at the beginning, I finally understood. But later as it developed, it was certainly more enjoyable. Cozy in fact. So far the Baruti sample set has been a blast.

It opens with a sweet tuberose of pollen, mentholated, wet, as if fermented and then turns into sweet chewy and smoked whiffs with thick and balsamic guajac. It has a sweet and salty smoky side. How to sear meat on the stove. As it evolves it still remains fresh with the now dry but still dirty woods, earthy with vetiver and smoked. The trail that I get in the distance is of a naked and fruity tuberose, with sandalwood and crystalline musks, bright, clean. It does not change much and in the background it remains rather homegrown, calm, winking at old-school perfumes. More feminine and fresh, suitable for the warm months. Not a blind choice, this one has a genuine character but ... Rebel.

A mixture of Do Son and Tam dao, and a skanky animal scent, like old cheese.

It's not much as nasty as it is quite an unbalanced fragrance! i feel a bit weird (which i most like weirdos) and a bit of something that is dirt! not the dirty or nasty as of compiling it to sexy but something more of a dirty usable water kind of concept, more of a food that lasted more than 2 days out in the open kind of dirt concept but not that i am smelling in here what i have mentioned above but to give you more of explanations of the kind of weird dirt i am sniffing in here. Now to the contents, there is something sweet here and something more of a dark dirt that doesn't come along with the sweet white clean thingy! and i guess it's sort of tuberose and not sure! more of a soapy tuberose, foamy tuberose and white floral (no jasmines) mingled with musk, guaiac wood & i'm sure that it's the mix that makes the sniffer thinks that vetiver is there somehow. To me it's quite unbalanced as candied sweet comes up kind of strong on the middle note mingled with that foamy tuberose and white floral musk.

I've come to the conclusion Baruti and I just don't get along. None of their offerings wow'd me..they fit into the genre of ... unique but an uncomfortable wear. Here is no different . An oddly smoky tuberose and guiac wood scent that is unbalanced and klunky to wear. I can't imagine where and why you would wear this oddball and for others to find it pleasant. I hope this works better with male chemistry.

Opens as the softest most beautiful tuberose and sandalwood fragrance I have ever tried. I thought it was an instant love. However. In the dry down it turns SUPER animalic. To the point where it kind of turned my stomach a bit. So much so that it smells kind of barnyard-ish. Yikes. Let fragrances fully dry down before you make up your mind people!!!

Same overpowering burnt plastic/chemical smell as the rest of this line. I don't get it, it smells cheap and awful and doesn't smell like perfume. It's the kind of scent that when you catch it in the air you think, oh no, something's wrong, what's burning/melting?!

It lasts forever on the skin... Too bad it smells like a wet, moldy old blanket. I like all the notes, so I am shocked I don't like this. It is not a good blend in my opinion.

The effect of the tuberose here is not to dominate, as is the case in many tuberose-perfumes, but to jolt the woody department into action. It's as if you see the woody characters busy in their synergie, smiles on their faces and affected by something, but that something is off stage already, after a quick appearance at the opening of the play. Tuberose is enjoying her part in the wings. To me personally the sandelwood is too big a presence on stage to be able to enjoy the whole thing. That's just me, I'm not a fan of that sort of wood. Otherwise I'm smitten with all of Baruti's fragrances tested so far. Honestly, they are out of this world. Emotional landscapes. Where words fall short, my words anyway. Just try them, let them move you. You go places you haven't been before. I'm very grateful Spyros materialized this for us.

I smell nothing but musk and iris. A laundromat where the newly washed clothes are being ironed with a very hot iron. In other words, Andy Tauer's base enhanced by some bitter flower nuances. I like it though for its bitterness. UPD: I've been wearing it for a couple days, and I must say it's quite addictive. This bitterness that transforms into soft muskiness is very unusual. It makes me think of ice and fire, or that burning sensation when you touch ice. It's also both wet and dry, I don't know how to explain. The dryness comes from musk and iris, and the wetness comes from those unripe bitter vegetal notes - I guess this is how tuberose really smells. I smelled the real one once, and it was very much unlike any interpretation in modern perfumes, and Voyance is probably the closest to the real smell.

This is a review from a tuberose lover, I tried to smell a pure natural tuberose perfume extrait before and I can confirming you that it’s in here! The first blast is the real sperb quarlity tuberose and then the giac wood become a supporting actor for this perfume. If you think tuberose is hard to wear and you love to smell woody notes from the perfume, please try this. It’s a duel between faminity and masculinity in the same time depending on your skin. For my skin it smell like a tuberose that blooming in the hidden wood at night time. it’s surprising me to smell something like this and this will stuck on your skin and your cloth like FOREVER! I do love this creation so much.

A smooth white floral that I enjoy smelling. It's not something I could wear, though, but it is indeed beautiful. The sandalwood blends perfectly with the tuberose, and the musky-woody elements in the background carry this scent throughout the lifespan. I'd say more femme than most of the line, but still good stuff...

The essence of tuberose is still prominent but it’s way greener, sappy, humid, earthy, smoky to some extent. Surrounded by woods, particularly by sandalwood that gives its creamy presence and enriched with a fair amount of musk. Bright and alive, slightly sharp at the opening, still everything feels harmonious

I'm wearing a sample of this as I type.very nice scent.it has a very strong tuberose smell and in the dry down the musk shines through that also has a some what Rum smell.this would be the perfect scent to go sailing with but it's not an everyday fragrance.its very strong but at this price.its well worth it.

Flowers with tuberose getting into sweet and flowery vetiver with woods. Comforting and a happy vibe. With time gets just well blended linear flowery vetiver. Flat. Maybe too flat but very comforting. If You don't want Your brain to process something but feel good that might do the job.

Oh, this is dreamy! This is a pretty tuberose scent that, I swear, almost comes across as linden, almost herbal, very light and charming. Nothing indolic or poisonous about it. I guess the sandalwood softens it up and grounds it so nicely.

I am generally able to work through nasty opening notes to hear the music within, however, this is an immediate scrubber for me. Perhaps it's the Tuberose, however I don't really care. Just NO!
