Bali Black Coconut Sands

Thanks very much for adding this to the database. Bali Black Coconut Sands is a warmer ambery coconut-vanilla blend, with what feels like a hint of pineapple cream in the opening (to echo Deb.martinez's observation). I don't think of this one as refreshing so much as cozy, however it really isn't too heavy for summer. I do detect a minute whiff of saltiness in the drydown, but it's not what I would consider saline, marine, or even overtly mineral. The bit of saltiness rounds out the coconut sugar like salted butter in a cookie recipe. Melted French vanilla ice cream with swirls of pina colada and a pinch of salt. Lovely. @Atomikbomb above me, I have found that the original packaging version of this is considerably stronger than the version with the newer packaging depicted in the photo. I do think it's worth it to get a slightly older bottle with the label featuring a stamp and yellow flowers.

Beautifully warm, a hot summers day, face slightly burnt by the sun. Sip some coconut water, then immediately lay back and cover your face with warm sand. Take a nap. Wake up pleasantly sunburnt and pink, you've been placed on the couch in the rented beach house by someone you care about. You drift back asleep cozy.

I cannot say I liked it at first. I sprayed it in my car from time to time. I also had Avon Incadessence (classical), and couldn't stand it for its sharpness and heavyness, although I tried to like it. So I decided to make 2 sprays of Bali Coconut Sands and 1 small spray of Incadessence - and it worked sooooo great together!!! Incadessence became so creamy, gentle and mild, I get so many compliments wearing such combination

I think this scent came out several years ago.. Notes listed used to say: coconut milk, tonka bean, jasmine, sea salt musk & black sand. What I smell leans on a WARM side of tropical, consisting of mainly coconut, vanilla, subtle tonka bean and musk.

The name is spot on lol. Light coconut. Sand. Light musk. Very natural not sweet at all. Scent - 6/10. I prefer my coconuts more gourmand. Sillage - 4/10. Mists don't last.
