Coastal Hydrangeas

I think that this mist is such an underrated scent from Bath and Body Works. I am usually not a fan of floral scents but because of my love for hydrangeas (which I think have no particular scent), I blind bought this mist. It may not be the safest mist to blind buy especially for those who are wary of floral scents but I think it is one of the most unique scents from Bath and Body Works. It is fresh, floral and aquatic. I've watched and read quite a lot of reviews online about this mist and I disagree that it smells like a grandma. I ended up buying the shower gel and body cream too because of how it layers beautifully with other perfumes. I think the mist is good on its own and sticks to clothes longer but it is very versatile. I've tried pairing it with other fruity and fresh mists and perfumes. There was one review that shared this to be a dupe of Versace Bright Crystal and I agree. The dry down of this mist is very similar to Versace Bright Crystal and the Absolu version. Because of the apple notes, it also reminds me of Versace Dylan Blue and DKNY Be Delicious.

This is more floral than anything to me, I wouldn’t have guessed it was supposed to be aquatic had I smelled it without looking at the notes. My husband said it smells earthy like a swamp. Also, when I first smelled it, it reminded me immediately of something but I couldn’t remember what. It was hello beautiful, I can’t put my finger on what smells similar. They share no notes together, I feel like the ocean note in this is reminds me of the cotton note in hello beautiful paired with shared florals. Anyway, this is really pretty. It smells like a floral scented soap bar. I like hello beautiful better though 🌸
