Cool Citrus Basil

I loved Cool Citrus Basil from the very beginning of the 00s, which was my favorite era for this store (mid-late 90s- early 00s). This was part of a collection that included this one, which was a unisex, refreshing citrusy scent with some herbal notes. Lemongrass Sage- which was a beachy, grassy, lemony scent (not like lemongrass or lemongrass eo). Water Blossom Ivy- a biting, herbal, green ivy scent. Fresh Ginger Lime- a refreshing lime with hint of ginger, but there was a creaminess to it too, so it wasn’t too sharp (without resorting to overwhelming sweet notes like today’s products from this store tend to have, which was commented on below). Other scents that I liked from this era were Herbal Mist, Flowering Herbs, Lavender Flowers and Orange Blossom. This was such a great era for this store and I wish the company would bring things like this back, if even temporarily.

Cool Citrus Basil is by far, my most favorite scent of the BBW line. Even today, I hate that it was discontinued. I do have a lot of lotions and sprays that I purchased before it was no longer available. I love it refreshing, clean, and lingering head turning smell. The scent naturally smelled good with anyone's chemistry. I just love it!

I still have half a bottle of Cool Citrus Basil, it’s unbeatable. Fabulous. I think B&BW quality has dropped in the last 10 years in general. This is an uplifting, bright yet warm and slightly sweet scent. Wonderful. I wish they bring it back.

Way back in the 'olden' days when BBW actually had some decent body lotion/splash scents. It is all absolute rubbish now - rubbish that has been dipped in (cheap imitation) vanilla, rolled in toasted coconut, then cooled by a 'Magical Breeze'. Absolutely ridiculous. I am with you, Countrygurl. Flowering Herbs was my favorite but I liked this as well. The original Juniper Breeze, Green Clover & Aloe, Pearberry, etc. - nearly everything in the store smelled great back then. I never considered it anything more than great bath supplies & casual body sprays but, damn.. I miss all of them. The funniest thing I have read on that site was recently when they re-released Juniper Breeze and of course all of the people that know what it is supposed to smell like were wailing in discontent. Many people offered up the reason for the reformulation being that 'they probably can't get those same materials now due to expense or the new rules' ... AS IF Bath and Body Works has ever used any truly quality ingredients, hahaha... I'm sure they were #1 on IFRA's shitlist.

Very green and spicy! This is a bbw oldie. I enjoyed this herbal mist which was strong and spicy. I enjoy the BBW original green scents like these. Or herbal mist that are green spicy like Rainkissed leaves or Green clover aloe What this and Still no Flowering Herbs or Seaspray??? Lol Only OG bath body works fans understand
