Crisp Morning Air

I had a friend who used to love this fragrance and I would always tease her for it. I would tell her "we're at a body spray/perfume store and you want to smell like air?" Then I went to bath and body works last week and guess what I brought back home. Crisp morning air. That's what I get for teasing her. I love the light, crisp apple notes that I detect immediately. The amberwood note gives this fragrance it's longevity that I find comfort in, approximately six hours after applying it. I also found this fragrance extremely similar to sweater weather, and gingham: heart of gold both fragrances by bath and body works. I would recommend this fragrance if you love apple notes in fragances, as well as resin/wood notes.

Personal: 5.5/10 – Fresh, outdoorsy, and synthetic. The fake apple is just too cloying. Mass appeal: 7/10 – Clean, crisp air and apple vibes are easy for most people to like. Performance: 4/10 – Very light and fleeting, even for a mist. Value: 7/10 – Affordable and cheerful, though entirely uninteresting. Uniqueness: 4.5/10 – Fresh, airy “fall morning” DNA is common and smells like many other cheapies. SCORE: 56/100 Full bottle buy? NO, too synthetic and I would absolutely never wear it. Blind buy? YES, safe and cheap enough that most won’t dislike it. I'm an exception. Recommend? YES, if you want a light, airy, apple forward scent. Date night? NO, too generic and fresh to be alluring. Might give your date a headache. Office safe? YES, smells like soap, laundry, and fresh air. And apples. Very synthetic apples. Pros: Clean, light, fresh. Perfect background scent. Affordable. Interesting airiness to it. Cons: Very synthetic, super fleeting, not particularly interesting and potentially headache inducing. Crisp Morning Air is exactly what you'd expect. It smells cool and airy, and it's not particularly special. The note breakdown is pretty simple, with synthetic aldehydes and 'fresh air' notes cutting through, and a screechy synthetic apple that won't leave you alone. It's finally available in mist form. Been loving this in the hand sanitizer for the last few years and been wondering when they would bring out the mist. Smells exactly the same as the hand sanitizer in same scent. It really does smell like fall to me. It's like walking outside on a crisp cold morning, taking in a breath. I can definitely smell the air, the crisp leaves and the apple, all mixed together.
