Dahlia

Gorgeous. After wearing both Dahlia FFM & the original CH Good Girl EdP, I personally think that, after drying down, they are *very* similar, with the main difference in scent being that GG has a light patchouli note (which I find most noticeable right after initially spraying it) that I do not smell in Dahlia. So, essentially, to me, Dahlia FFM is GG EdP without patchouli & with less staying power. On the initial spray, the florals in GG are a bit screechy, although they soften fairly quickly & then the pear & the more gourmand praline note starts to become evident & makes the fragrance more delicious, complex & interesting; Dahlia, on the other hand goes straight into that balance. In other words, Dahlia is more linear to me & right away smells the way GG smells after settling on the skin for some time. To boost the longevity of Dahlia FFM (unless the EdP comes back!), I hope to get GG EdP & layer Dahlia FFM on top of it. This smells like Toasted Praline & Pear if it were a floral scent. This is so pretty and sophisticated. It's just gorgeous. I have seen a lot of reviews saying good things about it, so I got a bottle to test. My, was I pleasantly surprised. The review descriptions I saw weren't enough to give justice to how beautiful this smells. It's got the perfect blend of sweet, fresh, floral, fruity, and lactonic. The bottle and name look so simple and yet the juice is so complex and well-blended, I love it. This is an easy reach. Inoffensive, can be worn any time of the year, heck I'll just wear this any time I want to. The sillage is quite strong with the dahlia note, though it does fade quite quickly. The drydown is divine. Smells so expensive yet delicious when the pear and tonka bean take over. This is an absolute love for me. 100 out of 10 would always be in my collection.

Disclaimer: I’m not a biggest fan of body mists.I have some (that I reach some days when I want something extremely light). Most of them smell generic and synthetic, and last a whole 3 minutes on your body (without exaggerating). But thissss one omg, I love it so much. This is the nicest, creamiest (in praline way, not a milky creamy way) floral scent. It has this tonka vibe similar to GG by CH, but subtle and not as screechy, so I enjoy it even more. It lasts for few hours, and in hot weather projects pretty good, so I can smell it on myself. It’s not overpowering and feels cozy without becoming too gourmand. It reminds me a lot of dream angel (without berry note) by Victoria’s Secret, even more than it reminds me of GG by CH (which i also happen to like so probably I’m biased). But I srsly can’t get over how good this is.

I initially assumed that because of carnation this would smell very overpowering given the overpowering nature of carnation (I bought this online). But when I first sprayed it on myself I immediately got Good Girl by CH, but just a few seconds in it develops into a beautiful, sweet scent that is still reminiscent of Good Girl albeit less spicy and less strong (which in my opinion makes it so much better than Good Girl). I absolutely love this. Most BBW scents do not have strong sillage or longevity, but as a BBW collector this is definitely THE most powerful BBW mist in terms of sillage and longevity, it stays on for days on clothes!!! Not to mention the beautiful and satisying sillage.

This smells like a pear with a gooey sweet vanilla candy coating, creamy thick milk, and dark flowers in a mystical magical forest. This fragrance reminds me of a distant relative of fairytale - only because of its magical, mythical quality, more sweet, muted, and powdery. I think I like dahlia better. This fragrance is nice. It honestly smells more expensive than what it is. This fragrance in the same realm of their other more expensive smelling fragrances like Luminous, At the Beach, Japanese Cherry Blossom, and The retired Velvet Tuberose. I really can't argue with a lotion that I got for less than 5 USD$ that keeps my skin moisturized and smelling very close to Carolina Herrera's Good Girl. This is definitely a good dupe but not a spot on dupe. However, layered together, it ends up smelling so much like Good Girl. If you like Good Girl, you will like this too!

I have Good Girl and I don't know how anyone would compare Dahlia to it. Good Girl is much warmer and heavier than Dahlia. Dahlia is probably the body mist I wear most often from B&BW. It's just perfect to me where some of their sprays are just so gourmand and sweet you nearly throw up, this one is fruity and sweet and maybe a little woody? Not sure but I get compliments when I wear it and I had to buy a bottle for my friend because she would sniff me like an animal every time I sprayed it!

Floral with a sweet carmel (praline) note and tart pear. It's like a subtle gourmand if that makes sense. I absolutely love this scent. The praline note is similar to that in Prada Candy which I imagine will layer well with this. I'm so impressed that I plan on purchasing backups of the body cream which I never do. This is probably the only fragrance I own with dahlia and I'm not sure why it's not more popular. The notes blend so well together, effortlessly. Step it up, perfumers!

Well made, perfumey, creamy sweet floral. It's not like most other bbw mist which hits u with a strong alcohol note upon initial spray. Has a rounded fruitiness accompanied by praline and heavy florals. After drying becomes a sweet tonka and praline scent. Seductive is the right compliment for this scent to me. Long lasting too. 3/4 hours. It's a spot on dupe for GUESS BELLA VITA EDP. I later them and it's a wonderful match

One of the more impressive performers from B&BW. This lasts almost all day on me and smells deliciously soft and gourmand without being too much. My husband said it smelled amazing and he generally doesn’t care for floral anything. I hope they keep this one in a regular rotation! It does remind me of Good Girl, could be a good cheapie dupe

I think the formula for this changed (classic bbw stuff). To me this pear praline...honestly I love it..no musk or patchouli or even florals...I am kinda obsessed with it dunno why. It's just sweet with a bit of a fresh pear effect so if you're a sweetness hater pbbly not gonna go well for you.

In my opinion it smells almost identical to Carolina Herrera, Good Girl especially when it dries down! I think it's the best dupe and it is also VERY long lasting, probably the strongest I've ever had from bath and body works. It smells like an actual perfume to me i love it so much 😍😍

Similar scent profile to Carolina Herrera good girl. Unfortunately, bath and body works discontinued a very popular favorite amongst many. This was a great alternative for the youngsters who can't afford the perfume. Prices are already crazy on eBay, mercari and poshmark.

Amazing creamy sweet-fruity fragrance for a cold winter scent (aka not warm and cozy). Lasts pretty well but poor projection. Starts with dahlia, then it fades into pear, and dries down to tonka bean and praline. 8.75/10

Very similar to Velvet Petals by Victorias Secret. Its a lush, creamy, sweet floral, not a fresh watery floral. I love this and it performs on the longer side for a fragrance mist.

Completely different notes, yet it makes the perfect Carolina Herrera Good Girl dupe! If you layer them, you will leave a gorgeous scent trail!

Smells like a fruitier sweet version of Carolina Herrera, Good Girl and also smells more perfumy than your typical body mist. Beautiful scent.

This is my signature scent, I wear it year round because it’s the perfect amount of floral without being too floral and not too sweet

This is so nice! Unfortunately, I only have the body cream because I only buy when the items are on sale. I just smelled Dahlia for the first time yesterday when my body cream shipment came in. It was an instant love for me. Definitely, one of the best fragrances B&BW has to offer--and they have aplenty! To my nose, Dahlia was musky, feminine, fresh baked cookies--lying in an aromatic flowerbed. I decided to layer it with Guess Noir--great combination! I will edit this review when I am able to purchase the fine mist. The body cream is an aromatic, luxurious, and safe blind buy. 12/18/23--I have received and worn my Dahlia fine fragrance mist. I really like it. It is sweet, yet sophisticated. Also, it is a mood-lifter! My husband was in the hospital for most of last week. When I applied the body spray and body cream yesterday, I instantly received a boost in my mood. The praline is the star of this fragrance--not too pungent--but adds the perfect amount of sweetness. Longevity is not good--it needs to be re-applied from time to time. Silage is moderate. Dahlia layers well, and complements other fragrances. Additionally, it is beautiful all on its own. In my opinion, Dahlia is a safe blind buy and a great addition to any fragrance collection.
