Dark Velvet Oud

This smells a lot like expensive perfume. The oud is strong (maybe it just works with my body chemistry like that). The raspberry also isn't screechy. It has a subtle sweetness which blends very well with the rose, which weirdly also isn't too straightforward with the floral. I'm not really a fan of rose scents, but this combination is divine. The performance is also not something I would've expected from a body mist. This lasts so long, especially during cold weather and night time. It sticks to my clothes until the next day. It's that potent. It projects fairly good, and it radiates a bit beyond arm's length. This is something I can wear to a formal occasion without being too heavy or pungent on the nose. This is a 10/10 from me.

I adore this, and I happen to disagree with the review below that says you can't smell the oud. I certainly can, and it harmonizes very well with the sweet berries. To me, this smells like Into the Night with added oud. It's unreal the performance you get even though it's just a body mist. I wore this for a night out, and even though I sprayed conservatively it really stuck around and I kept getting lovely whiffs of the scent every time I turned my head.

I love soft floral scents and I have been looking for a floral scent that can also be unisex, and finally this is it for me! My husband loves the scent as well as I do. Its a perfect combination of rose/floral scent and oud. For some reason I think I can smell a bit of woody and amber even though its not listed above. I would highly recommend this especially for night time or a date night. After it dries down, its like a mature rose/oud-y/amber-ish note.

It really is EXTREMELY similar to jo malones velvet rose & oud. It has that specific sweet-sour opening smell that just pierces through your nose but that's the only difference i can smell from far away EDIT: after some time i decided that the similarity is about 80%, close enough to satisfy me and be a replacement for casual days but jo malone still has that smoothness and better drydown than it because later it just smells like sweet raspberries

I have the lotion, mist and body wash. Omg.. the body wash is heavenly, lotion lasted longer ony body than the mist. It really smells like perfume. I just didn't quite like the dry down of the mist. But overall I like this unique scent. Something different than the usual sweet scent from BBW. I didn't really expect it was a wow product just by looking at the packaging. Packaging looks boring and old. But thankfully I tried and tested it. ☺️
