First Sight

I am absolutely in LOVE with this cologne! Yes.. I know it's Bath and Body Works, and it's not even a EDT. I sampled this cologne on my wrist and it stayed on FOREVER and I could not stop sniffing my wrist, lol. I can't really describe the smell.. its sweet and addicting. This cologne sits on the skin beautifully. I heard this is supposed to resemble Baccarat Rough 540 that's over $300.. never smelled it so i don't know and I'm not paying $300+ for a fragrance, NOPE! I picked up this 3.4 fl oz cologne for the the amazing price of $22.50. It's regular $59.95. They had it on sale for $30 which is rare.. and i also had a 25% coupon, WHOOP WHOOP! Would I pay regular price this?.. No.. maybe if was a EDT, but its just a cologne. It's a solid fragrance though.

got to smell this in-store today and it's a love for sure. definitely very, very similar to br540 and i think this is a very overdone scent profile, but it's as popular as it is for good reason. a perfect unisex, year-round fragrance.

First Sight is one of the more recent men’s releases from Bath and Body Works, designed as a wedding-themed option that’s paired with a women’s, Dressed in White, that smells quite different. First Sight, as B&BW employees have openly stated, smells a bit like MFK BR540 but for me, it’s a much more pared down, thinner, fresher, more agreeable alternative to even the original BR540 EDP (or, frankly, the clones that it inspired). It’s described has having primary notes of soft bergamot, rich woods, and sugared musk, and a sort of sugary fresh musky citric experience is very much what I get out of it. Priced at $60 for 100ml at full retail, but sometimes available at 50% off, it’s a perfectly nice cheapie option at $30. It performs moderately but not particularly well, which is a nod to those that do not want to be overwhelmed or like being able to over spray a bit. 7 out of 10

A good Baccarat Rouge 540 clone with a slight woody, masculine twist. Opens with nondescript fresh white musk with androgynous citrus and woods supporting it. Then as it dries down it gains that sweet, and undeniably appealing BR540 musk that we fragheads are all too familiar with. This is a very good cheapie for those who like BR540, or want BR540 with a slightly more masculine twist with the woods. Performance and projection is obviously mid compared to the real deal, but you get what you pay for in that department. 7/10.

This scent is honestly so nice! It definitely has that BR50 DNA, and it honestly smells like a slightly more masculine version of Burberry Her or the BBW dupe Fall in Bloom. Men and women could pull off this scent. I've never personally used the perfume so I don't know about the longevity and sillage, but I occasionally wear it as a cream and it's just really nice!

I almost bought this because of the comparisons to BR540 but honestly this doesn't really smell that close to it. The scent profile is in the same ballpark but the actual smell is really something similar to what a review mentioned below - fresh roasted peanuts, but not necessarily in a bad way! At least thats what I got from the store tester. It does garner compliments too, but if you're looking for an inexpensive masculine alternative to BR540 this isn't quite the one even though it is oddly pleasant and easy to wear (however I did go anosmic to the scent). The atomizer is one of the cheapest I've encountered but at this price point I'm nitpicking. Again it does have a nice smell but don't expect it to be a dupe. I would consider Cloud or Cloud Intense over this if that's what you want.

This is the most watered down fragrance I've ever tried!!! It should be renamed Bath&Body Skin Scent...This must be a joke or that store is selling knockoffs of their own fragrances. I wouldn't pay 2 bucks for this water.

I’ve grown tired of the BR540 DNA. Seems like everyone has their version but this one is actually awesome. This actually took me a bit to identify as it opens with a more pronounced citrus then dries down more woody. I agree with the comment below that this is a more masculine take on the DNA but still unisex.

Full on dupe of br540. They nailed it.. It doesn't have the greatest longevity. I've found cheaper dupes that have better performance. It smells lovely but for the price it's not really worth it. Bottle is cheap and tacky and overpriced. I'd only consider buying this for 20$ or less

Love this! Def a dupe for Br540. But it great for layering or carrying in bag for touch ups. Bought 3 body sprays when they went on sale for $6 today! Giving one to my hubby and keeping two for me. Lol

I've gone into B&BW various times and smelled this and all I pick up is the smell of roasted peanuts. I have no clue why my nose picks that up, my wife says I'm going crazy
