Fresh Amalfi Lemon

I'm a huge lemon/citrus lover so I quite like this sent. It opens up VERY lemony but more of a sugared or candied lemon. It's quite strong and, to me, has the scent of a lemon head or other lemon candy. As you wear it, it dries down to a softer lemon scent and the cedarwood and spearmint come out more. I was worried the spearmint would overpower the lemon but it's very slight. It makes a presence but only towards the end and it comes after the lemon and cedarwood. I wouldn't recommend this scent if you have a sensitive nose or get headaches easily. Other than its strength it's a very fresh, summer scent. It smells like a nice summer lemonade out on the coast. Will definitely buy again.

Just got my nose and hands on this ONE and all I’ve gotta say is that BBW have redeemed themselves for me here. To my nose and on my skin, while not exactly spot on, this is a very good Dupe for Dior Homme Cologne (that frag smells just like a freshly squeezed glass of lemonade). I’m THRILLED with this and picked up the lotion and the fragrance spray. It leans masculine, but is definitely unisex. The lotion initially is a blast of Lemonheads candy, then settles into lemony sunshine on the skin. I’m a Gal and I’m going to go take a shower now just so I can slather the lotion on and spray this stuff all over myself.

This reminds me a lot of lemon drops in my childhood. It's citrusy and sweet to my nose at first spray. Great for warm weather. It's just a simple fragrance, but this stays long on my skin. It goes from juicy lemon zest to green and woody upon drying down. I like the strength in this. It doesn't smell like weakly concentrated lemon water with leaves. It smells like greens with a tinge of woody citrus. It's very natural smelling. Recommending this to people who enjoy the smell of lemon zest and plants.

Bought this last year when I was going through an extreme Bath and Body Works phase. I have the body spray and the lotion I like it because it’s clean green and fresh. A non-offensive year round grown up daytime spray. The lotion is rich perfect to layer the body spray.

Immediately when my daughter and I smelled this we thought more of oranges rather than lemon. It's not a candied/cloying or soda type of orange, but rather it's lightweight and refreshing. It truly lends itself well to sunlight, and smells perfect as the sun hits your skin. There's a vague, pleasant type of greenery here, and some light woods (nothing is heavy or aromatic), and I think it's squarely unisex (who cares though wear what you like regardless of gender). If anyone recalls "Sparkling Limoncello", I will say that I still prefer that lemon dominant fragrance more, but this is nice. Longevity though? Definitely lacking...but it's a citrus mist from B&BW, so that truly is too be expected.

I enjoy this. You get that burst of Lemon but quickly goes woody. Definitely unisex — if not more masculine leaning upon drydown that may put people off. The lemon here doesn’t come off “lemon pledgy”, smells fresh and natural, like you cut open a lemon and you get that ZEST! Great fragrance for the summer & spring.

It is quite a fresh and slightly green lemon scent. Although green scents don't usually pique my interest, adding the citrusy and woodsy notes makes it smell like you're sitting underneath a lemon tree instead of snorting some grass you have just plucked from your front yard.

This was a blind buy, and I don't regret it. This is a really bright and fresh unisex scent. You get a fresh and almost sugary lemon (not "Lemon Pledge" lemon, if you know what I mean), and the cedarwood in the drydown gives it an earthy and masculine quality to it. It's really nice and wearable-- great for the Summertime!

I am trying very hard to enjoy this spray but the initial smell to me smells like lemon pledge :[ it seems to get better after it sets though. if you are looking for a lemon scent that is more on the fresh side rather than sweet smelling then this is definitely for you, I think I just prefer sweet citrus smells

This reminds me a bit of Acqua di Gioia. With the lemon note, lemon leaf, and mint note - it is a more citrus/lemon heavy version of Acqua di Gioia. Very fresh and very clean.

You have to REALLY be a lemon-lover to like this. Most people remark that it's way too strong, astringent and reminds them of Pledge wood polisher.
