Fresh Coconut Colada

The notes are : coconut milk, vanilla rum and pink hibiscus The mist is pretty much self explanatory. The coconut smells like candied coconut. After i sprayed it on me i got two notes. sweet coconut and pineapple. There is definitely a prominent pineapple note in here even though it's not listed with the notes. I smell no pink Hibiscus or any floral notes in this. It is truly a tropical, fun, fresh, realistic almost as if you could drink it from the bottle kind of pina colada scent. As the hour passes on the smell turns extremely delicious, it almost reminds me of a mouth watering yummy coconut cake. You might think this must be a fun, airy, juvenile pina colada scent but to me it's truly a foodie scent. Very gourmand surprisingly. If you like to smell like a scrumptious coconut cake, then you can completely go ahead and purchase it. Coming to the projection and longevity, it does create a scent bubble but you have to spray generously for it to be noticeable in the air. Longevity is extremely good on my skin and my clothes. The scent easily sticks onto me for 7/8 hours and then remains as a lingering scent. Even as a lingering scent, it comes off strongly. i get whiffs and whaffs of it even after 24 hours. Performs equally well on clothes too. I am absolutely happy with this random purchase, i never had any hopes of liking it as much as i do. I tend to use it as a casual sunny day scent & these days as a bed time scent as well. I love waking up feeling fresh and sweet.

This is one of my favorite summer time scents! I think this is going to be my signature scent this coming summer! The mix of coconut and vanilla rum in this make it so creamy and delicious, while the hibiscus adds a fresh element to it. It’s definitely a little boozy smelling, which I didn’t know I would enjoy. Because of the freshness of the coconut and hibiscus, the boozy element is not heavy or overbearing at all. Something in here almost smells like pineapple to me, which is love. What I’m detecting as pineapple I think just adds a bit more light freshness and sweetness to the vanilla rum scent and makes this scent super well rounded, fresh, and delicious :)

I tested the old bottle with yellow liquid, not the newer bottle: This is very simple and smells like a chilled drink. If there is "rum" here, it's white rum, and it's nearly imperceptible because I definitely didn't smell any degree of booziness. It's very G-rated, kind of juvenile (but that's what can be so enjoyable about B&BW). A nice break from perfumey scents if you like this sort of thing. This has almost a sweet orange sort of scent up top, or a fruit that I can't place. Nothing is listed here...but it's a ghost note of orange to my nose. It's kind of sweet, but the vanilla is super light. I dont think this reads as coconjt cake at all, it's juicy and refreshing. It's *wet* in texture, and would be ideal for scorching dry days. 🧉 🌞 ⛱️

I was trying to add enough items to cart to get the limited time free shipping, otherwise I would’ve overlooked this. I picked this because the people who like this also like section seems similar to my taste. I was expecting a fresh fruity scent, which is typically not my thing. However it is more of a creamy gourmand. The initial notes smelled suspiciously like melons, even though not listed. Afterwards I just get a melony coconut scent. I don’t really smell vanilla, rum, and I don’t know what hibiscus smells like. I’m layering it with a dupe of le male, and it’s making the le male dupe smell more easygoing. I’m enjoying it

Ok i have a really old bottle of this, so maybe its spoiled, but I'm not a huge fan smells like a super strong NON VIRGIN pina colada. not really my thing unfortunately.

This smells like shea moistures coconut & hibiscus hair gel! For comparisons to other B&BW scents, this is very similar to coconut pineapple. I’ve heard people describe coconut pineapple as being fresher, and fresh coconut colada being creamier. I think the opposite is true, fresh coconut colada indeed has a fresher feel to it. Coconut pineapple is a bit creamier, and sweeter to me as of right now. I agree with another reviewer mentioning picking up some sort of melon note, I feel like that mystery note is what gives this a fresher feel. I don’t pick up on much rum, but the coconut does smell a little bit oily. Nevertheless, I do like this scent and will enjoy my bottle. Honestly I prefer coconut pineapple though. I’d say if coconut pineapple + frosted coconut snowball had a baby it’d be this.

I ordered this not too long ago, and all I can say is I was not pleased. To me, it smelled similar to the dentist and the bubblegum fluoride they would give you. However, I let it sit for a few months (ordered in November/December 2024, tried again today), and I was pleasantly surprised! The scent notes here on fragrantica are coconut milk, rum, hibiscus, and vanilla, however, I am also picking up on a pineapple scent of some sort. I cannot wait to wear this in the summer! I would say that this scent and Bath and Body Works coconut pineapple are pretty similar (which coconut pineapple is my ALL-TIME favorite scent). I think that this scent has grown on me quite a bit!

I really like this scent. I have it in the body lotion and body spray. I like it so much because, on me at least, the rum note really comes through and enhances the coconut so beautifully! Also it comes across as very fresh and "cool" to my nose. It's a fantastic summer scent!

Lovely scent. Definalty a daytime summer time scent !!
