Fresh Musk

I LOVE this and I have a lot of similar perfumes but this one sticks out. If you have Missing Person, Without a Trace, Eternal Musk, Lovely, or any of the Narciso Rodriguez musks then you probably don’t need this. BUT... there’s still something magical here. This is wonderful on its own but amplifies any dominantly white musk fragrance. It pairs well with a lot of oils I have also. I am seeing the dreaded toilet deodorizer/bug spray descriptions that often get attached to these types of fragrances. I am not getting that at all. Suntan lotion? A teeny tiny bit. Champagne based Egyptian musk is as apt as I can describe it. It is just one of those scents that you throw on and it’s appropriate for any occasion. Initially, I wrote this off as having low longevity and sillage but it surprised me the other day. I could smell it subtly shining hours later. I think this is one of the best scents I have tried from Bath and Body Works lately. It’s definitely worth a try for the price. 8/10 for me.

I have to stop myself from reaching for this one everyday, so I can use up my other perfumes. It's an easy, light scent that would be totally acceptable in an office environment or other places where strong scents are discouraged. However, while light, I think it projects pretty well too. (Like arm's length.) It gives off a fresh, powdery, musky vibe with just a hint (for me) of bergamot to keep it interesting. Definitely falls into the "Your skin but better" category with other fragrances like Phlur's Missing Person, but it isn't a dupe for it. It's an intimate musk, but not a sexy musk, if that makes sense. I own the body wash, body cream, fine fragrance mist, and the mini EDP. No doubt, the EDP has the best longevity--6 to 8 hours on me (maybe longer), whereas the other products (layered) I might get 3-4 hours.

I am absolutely obsessed with this fragrance in the way that I wish this was my default body scent. As others have pointed out, this is a "your skin but better" scent for those of us on which it works. My scent profile tends to lean grown, rich, gourmand, spicy. This is somehow none of those things but works perfectly for me. I have the body wash, body cream, and body spray and I wear them all together because as previously mentioned, I'm obsessed. Pairs well with Fine'ry Without a Trace. Same family as Riddle Oil Sphinx. It smells...clean. Like laundry but not like linen. Like skin but not like sweat. Try before you buy to see if it works with your body chemistry.

One of the Absolute best hair and body mists out of all hair and body mists ever made. Yes it is similar to kissing person but a bit sharper and cleaner and fierce and sexy. This lasts alllll day until I shower it is stronger than a lot of the perfumes I own. Im sad it is being discontinued...I think this musk line was the best line from bbw ever made.

I love it! It smells like Missing Person with brighter citrus notes. I can’t stop sniffing my wrist. I also bought the total body care line and the edp but I haven’t tried them yet. This is going to be amazing layered with Sand & Fog White Palm perfume oil in Spring and Summer.

Wow what a pleasant body spray ! I have been reaching for this frequently, it is comforting and clean scent. If you dont want to carry an expensive bottle of perfume in your purse and possibly destroy it lol, this is great to keep in your bag.

I tried the body spray, but I think I prefer the lotion. This is definitely for fans of Missing Person, which is my go-to for warmer months. Not a dupe, but very similar vibe. I'd been wanting to try some of the Missing Person bodycare products, but this is a nice cheap substitute for the time being. B&BW lotions are STRONG so wearing only a bit on the arms and back of the neck is like wearing a spritz of perfume.

what musk? this is SUNSCREEN. this is SPF. this is PRECAUTIONS TAKEN AGAINST MELANOMA! okay actually i like it quite a bit when it dries down lol

Very similar to Without a trace but without the suede note. Clean easy to wear fresh skin musk. Office safe.

I only sprayed this on a tester strip, though since BBW scents usually don't last long it seems that's as good a basis as any. I was most excited to sniff this one in their Musk line. According to the notes, it should be something I like. At first spritz I was a little confused, then I kept sniffing and thought it just smelled like a typical "fresh" scent with the slightest bit of warmth, but not enough to categorize it as a warm scent. I was expecting more musk in a scent with musk in it's name. After several minutes I sniffed it again, and decided it was a definite no for me- it reminds me of one of those athletic-brand fragrances that girls would spray on after gym or sports practice in the late 90s/early 2000s, like an Adidas perfume. Oh well.

It's giving hair spray... This is your basic tart, dusty musk. It's in the realm of but not exactly like initio musk therapy and Mohave ghost. It basically smells like a Kristin Ess hair spray or ever pure shampoo. Ps This is NOTHING like Pear ink... and I don't quite remember what missing person smells like but I don't remember disliking it as much as this one.

missing person + screechy citrus cleaning products that i can sort of get past

smells like powdery cleaning products. i really do like citrus scents but i don't like this. something about it just smells too synthetic/chemical-ly. it almost smells astringent. also barely lasted on my skin.

This smells nothing like Missing Person, which is one of my favorite scents. This is a boring basic somewhat tart musk. More like a cheap hairspray.

This one isn’t it it falls flat with zero lasting power it didn’t last on the tester more than 2 mins.

I got this with my points . I hesitated because body spray musks don’t last on me or become so faint. But surprisingly I oversprayed after a late night shower and i could smell it on my clothes and faintly on my body the next day. It’s definitely a fresh bergamot musk. Not a floral, or fruity but it’s my favorite out of the line. Soft bright and slightly potent in a good way. It also reminds me slightly of Without a trace but without the suede note. My problem is when I wear my strong heavy nuclear scents. I have a hard time smelling lighter fragrances such as these and they seem to disappear to me . So I have to have a few days of resetting my nose. :D Edit: officially obsessed with this one. I’m almost finished one bottle in record time. I have to stop myself from using this almost everyday. I also purchased the body lotion . Which is a first for me with BBW scents because I never finish them. I am pleased and surprised with this one . I’m not sure how I’m going to manage if they discontinue this one. :(

Definitely a version of Missing Person, with much more musk as the name implies. It’s like a lighter more neutral version of Missing Person, which makes it great for layering. Smells as if a cloud came down and wrapped you in it’s mysterious ozone musk. Would layer great with some fresh out of the shower scents like Pear Inc by not a Perfume or the Ouai St Bart’s body spray.

This absolutely does smell like missing person and without a trace. It’s not exact but it’s very close. I love it im going to get the lotion and body wash to wear with my bottle of without a trace

To my nose, it leans heavily toward a chemical cleaning scent. While it does smell clean, it’s quite harsh and not very enjoyable.

This is a good dupe for Missing Person/Without a Trace. I have all 3 and the differences are minute. Love it!
