Iced Lemon Pound Cake

Delicious lemon pound cake scent! It’s not too heavy on the lemon. In fact the lemon zest goes away rather quickly and you’ll be left with a yummy cake scent that is soft and satisfying. The mist doesn’t last very long at all. I pair it with the matching lotion and I get a longer wear time out of it. Side note about the lotion: Call me crazy but after about an hour or 2 the lotion turns full on vanilla and almost chocolatey on my skin? Must be the way my nose interprets it lol but I’m not mad about it. I rarely repurchase scents but a backup of this lotion will be in my cart again very soon. Overall this scent was a hit for me both in mist and lotion form. I wish the mist lasted longer but that’s my only criticism. If you love your cakey gourmands this will surely be your next favorite from B&BW.

Hot dang this smells good (24 version). Only problem is that it makes me hungry for chocolate and cake🙃 To me it smells very reminiscent of devotion on the dry down. I have a sample of devotion and for now I have decided not to purchase it because I think this fills the void for it. I can definitely see how people say it smells like butter, only for me it smells more like milky chocolate with some lemon pastry. It’s addicting. Probably not for a hot day or for when you’re hung over, but For a bath and Bodyworks scent it smells really delicious and good. Longevity is so so good. I put on the lotion before bed and can still smell it the next morning. Probably not the most “mature” fragrance but honestly I don’t care I love it.

For me, top three FFM from B and BW - it's creamy and lemony but cakey and after spraying about 30 min before- a man said - UGH you smell amazing. Whenever I spray this on me - instant happiness, calm, comfort, lemon cake goodness that melds comfortingly to freshly washed moisturized skin. It's very rare that I spray through FFM's from BBW - but this one has less than 25% left and I bought it just six months ago. It's hard to find. I cherish my bottle and my one back up. My other favourites from BBW are Pumpkin Pecan Waffles, Strawberry Poundcake, Vanilla Bean Noel, White Pumpkin and Chai, Sweetheart Cherry and Moonlit Martini.

This is the only FFM I've ever finished up (as of yet). I've got enough backups to last me a few years but I'm glad I have them. It's not the longest lasting mist ever, so you might want to overspray it to try and get some longevity out of it. It's great for layering too! I like to layer this over SDJ bum bum cream (sounds like a weird mix, but it's actually amazing together), and if I'm feeling extra, I'll add Oakcha's Italian Cello over it too (dupe for Lira). I also enjoy combining it with Blueberry Sugar pancakes or even with Eilish. It really just mixes well with most sweet vanillas and certain fruity notes.

My relationship with this mist is probably crazier than the fragrance itself. Impulse bought it on a Tuesday because I like lemons and I like cake— then I read a reddit post that said it smelled like buttered corn, and for like a week I couldn’t smell anything different from it. Ew. Cue the worst menstrual cramps of my life. I pulled an all nighter waiting for my meds to kick in, and somehow this mist was the only thing keeping me sane. The bright zesty lemon, the fluffy cake... We trauma bonded. Now I huff this mist every day. I luv you iced lemon poundcake you will always be famous 😭🫶

got this in 2023 - I think its a realistic lemon shortbread cookie scent. I love it. I recently finished it and didn't realize this wasn't available anymore. It's very lemony at the start, but as the top notes fade off.. it smells 100% as a vanilla shortbread cookie with just a tiny bit but mostly no lemon. It last very long on skin and also survives well on clothes. Id say a solid 4hrs. I enjoyed layering with other gourmand-pastry scents. I would purchase again if available, trying the "devotion" dupe to see if it's similar to this one. 8/10, definitely one of my fav body mists.

This is lemon cake with an emphasis on the CAKE part. The lemon is there, but it's not the star here to me. However it is very sweet, exactly like that lemon cake loaf you'd get from Starbucks. It doesn't last at all though. It lasts about 30 min-1 hr. I think this is best layered with the matching lotion PLUS a matching lemon-based perfume. I personally paired it with a fragrance body oil from Brown Sugar Babe called "Cloud 9" and the Victoria's Secret body mist Aqua Kiss" and it smelled heavenly! Compliments all day long.

I was so excited when this came out and I couldn't wait for my order so I sprayed White Citrus and Merry Cookie on myself from BBW and hoped this new mist would smell like that. I had plans to layer it with Lira by Xerjoff. When it arrived, it smelled great, but my White Citrus/Merry Cookie mixture was even better. The scent does not last very long as expected by BBW. Plan on layering it. Nevertheless, I am still very glad they released this scent in body care and I am very happy with it. It is absolutely delicious.

Smells amazing! Sweet pound cake with a light splash of lemon zest. The lemon is there in the beginning, but immediately disappears and you’re left with a cookie/pound cake scent. 20 minutes later everything disappears lol. No lemon and no pound cake. Douse yourself and pair this mist with the matching body wash and lotion to increase the longevity of the scent. I also pair this with Al-Rehab’s Soft perfume oil and the Soft perfume spray. Iced lemon pound cake smells so good just doesn’t last.

Very straight up warm cakey scents and a lil bit of lemon zest (i don't like this minute pinch of bitter smell but it wasn't much so..) I barely smell any lemon scent tho, but as a gourmand lover this feels like a cozy bakery in a really cold, snowing night. Like damn, my first ever bbw fullsize and it still holds the #1 place in me (wish the warm cakey note lasted longer TT) I have both new and old version of this, they smells not too much different.

Finally got it this time around because my first impression of this was not good. To me it smelled like butter, that's it and opted out getting it. This time, I am glad I got it despite my nose yet again only picking up a butter scent. It is SO GOOD! I dont even like lemon pastries or desserts but, I will just say, this next grocery trip I will definitely buy a lemon cake slice or SOMETHING similar. It smells THAT gourmand!! A new favorite!

to me this smells so true to its name. it smells like a yellow box cake with lemon juice in it that’s baking in the oven. it also has a slight nuttiness to it, so i’m surprised there’s no almond or pistachio note on here! i always get complements when i use this because it’s not a scent a lot of people expect from a gourmand. this is the most perfectttt blend between fruity and baked good that i’ve ever smelled from b&bw.

This is a true gourdmand scent. So photorealistic. It smells exactly like the iced lemon loaf from Starbucks. Spray with caution because it will make you crave sweet treats. My husband loves the way it smells on me. One night, I over sprayed before bed 🤭 and I got whiffs of it in the morning and of course had to run and grab a sweet treat with my coffee that morning! It's lovely!

this is one of my faves! i love this scent so much :) to me it just smells like a dry lemon cake. it lasts for a long time. (4 or 5 hours tops) and smells great in both hot or cold weather. i prefer to wear it when it is rainy or when i just get out of the shower. its not a very sharp lemon either, it is more like a warm cozy lemon. i think thats where the cake comes in

I love love love this scent. In my opinion, strawberry pound cake is way too sweet for me, so I thought the “Icing” part wouldn’t make this mist any better. But boy I was wrong. This smells exactly like this lemon pound cake my mom used to make. This smells like a cake with a hint of lemon, a perfect gourmand for the spring time in my opinion!

oh my god this is in my top three bath and bodywork’s scents ever, it’s so creamy and cakey. the lemon isn’t there after the first five minutes but it’s amazing- very photorealistic for a starbucks lemon loaf and it also highly resembles a fruit loop EDIT: the dry down is exactly the same as the comptoir sud pacifique vanille abricot perfume

Excuse me!! This smells exactly like lemon pound cake, I don't get the "iced" but I get the "cake". I can't stop smelling it. I'm trying to eat healthier and this is helping me satisfy that need of sweets. I can't seem to be able to wear it in warm-hot weather though. It smells like December bake goods.

Initial spray is lemon icing on vanilla cake. On dry down , the lemon is lost but you have a nice shortbread cookie. I love this for layering and this spray actually sits on the skin and clothes for about 3-6hrs. I will definitely repurchase on a mist sale. Great for gourmand,fresh and fruity layering

If I could float away on a River of this scent, I would. I didn’t know it was missing from my life and now I’m terrified that BBW will discontinue it. I feel like a hoarder loading up on canned goods 😂 I layer here with Devotion and babbeee...as James Brown once said, good god, wanna kiss myself.

This stuff is delicious! Smells like a vanilla lemon cake. It does kind of have candle vibes, but not in a bad way. I understand the resemblance to Lira, but the is not near as complex. This was a successful blindbuy- comforting and easy to wear- I find myself reaching for it quite a bit.
