Infinite Radiance

This is really beautiful! I've never sniffed Valaya and didn't realize this is a dupe for it. I just walked into Bath & Body Works because we have a brand new one in my city and I hadn't been in one in about 20 years, and I wanted my daughters to get the experience of smelling all the things. I tested pretty much every scent in the store and was either repulsed or underwhelmed by most of them (do we seriously need 5 different variations on the fruity-rose theme?), but when I got to Infinite Radiance it stopped me in my tracks. Not only does it smell like an actual perfume, it also smells like a grown woman! Not an "old lady," which has long been a phrase people carelessly throw around to describe perfumes they think smell like something their grandmothers would have worn- just a warm, confident woman who knows how to dress, gets things done, and doesn't dwell on what others think of her.To be fair, I feel this is the mood a lot of white floral-centered fragrances give, but the reason I like this one above so many others I've tried is because it has a lightness and sweetness that isn't heavy and cloying. The peachy-citrus top notes give it a sparkling, youthful feel, while the white florals and amber feel self-assured and feminine. I know muguet is listed as the white floral note, but it comes across as more of an orange blossom scent to me. It's just a really lovely, and, yes, radiant, fragrance. Uncomplicated. Definitely one of the few current Bath & Body scents that doesn't feel targeted exclusively towards the youth market.

This reminds me of the original glossier you formula in the way there’s something sparkly about the fragrance itself. It smells similar to Stella by Tocca but much sweeter and slightly more floral. I use body mists for work and save my perfumes for me time. This is the PERFECT mist for work. It’s inoffensive, light, sweet, and clean. It smells a lot like like hard orange candies or a candied orange slice in the best, non-cloying way. A true fruity gourmand for rich and syrupy gourmand haters, the mandarin sister of Pear Inc. It has a musky edge to it but not in a dirty or sweaty way, which is amazing because other musks often smell like feet on my skin.

This is elegant, clean, and timeless. It has a fresh and bright opening without being sharp. As it dries down, it becomes warmer with a soft amberwood and musky finish that feels feminine and refined. It reminds me of a lighter version of Valaya. It has that same polished, sophisticated energy, just more wearable and less intense. I bought this for my mom, and I really think she’ll love it. It’s elegant but completely wearable for everyday. It has a refined, perfume-quality feel and smells much more expensive than it is Overall, it’s fresh but elevated. Feminine, graceful, and effortlessly put together. 7/10 Sillage 7/10 Longevity 6/10

This is a very fresh, uplifting and somehow warm fragrance. Not sweet at all, but very feminine. There's an ozonic quality to it, like a spring morning with the dew evaporating from the flower petals after the sun comes out. Throughout the day, I will smell this on my clothes or skin (usually I combine the body spray with the lotion) and am pleasantly surprised with how this morphs over time. I could wear this in any season and be office safe, since it's a pretty intimate sillage.

This reminds me a lot of dolce & Gabbana light Blue. Which is not a bad thing! It's very refreshing and uplifting. I have never smelled Valaya before, so I do not know how the two compare.. but if you are a fan of light blue, and other fragrances within that realm... Then you will most likely love this one 😊
