Mad About You

Oh how I wish B&BW still sold this!! I actually received a body care set of Mad About You at a NYE regift swap in middle school, and if you saw some of the gifts there you would consider me one of the luckiest people on the planet lol. To my nose, this is a gorgeous strawberry (yes, strawberry) patchouli mix. Opens with heavy, sweet strawberry and a subtle peony, enough to round out the sweetness and prevent it from becoming cloying. The musky patchouli buds the moment the spray hits my skin and blossoms once it dries down--it smells incredible. I honestly find it comparable to Burberry Her, though Mad About You is less complex and muskier on the dry down. And of course it's much more affordable, even with it being discontinued in the US. I may have rose-tinted lenses or whatever, but I will never tire of this scent. I have 2 bottles on standby and will be carrying my childhood well into my adult years with this one. ♥

The first whiff I had of this, I immediately fell in love with it. A pretty and happy scent. The floral in this is subtle, it blends in the background, but I like that it doesn't overpower the fruitiness. It's sweet without being cloying. The part that I love about it the most is its naturally juicy smelling aspect. It's like a burst of fresh fruit juice with the unique tart quality that natural fruits have. The vanilla and musk notes smoothly round it out, too. It's fruity with lots of freshness and a tinge of flowers. This is one of the classics in my collection and I'll need more backups. It's super duper fresh and delicious smelling. I don't care if I have to bathe in this every time. 10/10 for sure!

I love this one I didn't have the perfume but I had the body butter it was so amazing I still think about it and wish bath and body would bring this one back. Its very sweet and a beautiful scent. Would definitely purchase again if they would bring it back.

It smells amazing upon first spray, then it’s nice on the middle- not as great as beginning but the dry down is magical! It really mixes well with my chemistry and it smells ethereal- it’s a great accessory to feeling pretty 😍

my sister gave me this perfume/body mist as a hand-me-down like 5 years ago. i only have a few drops left in this old plastic bottle. ill probably save it for my wedding considering how expensive the resellers are :(
