Midsummer Dream

This is my favorite scent in my collection, above all my designer perfumes. I get compliments every time I wear this perfume. It's perfect for the summer and the sun does something magical to it. It's a fresh fruity floral scent, but subdued in the most perfect way. I hope this becomes a summer staple because I'm crazy about it. Halfway through my bottle from last summer and I'm so glad it's coming back this year.

This is honestly one of the only fresh aquatic type scents that I love. Generally fresh aquatic scents turn my stomach but this one is perfect. It smells like pears, sunshine, & salt. It def gives me an actual beach vibe. This is what you could imagine smelling like after being in the water for a while (in a good way). I like it for the spring & summer, and I also love wearing it to bed. It’s oddly comforting.

This is really nice. It's a fresh, coconut and pear type of scent. If anyone's familiar with Coconut Granita from Victoria's Secret, that's exactly what this smells like. I never felt compelled to pick it up, but it's a good Summer scent for sure!

Midsummer Dream is your standard hot summer weather freshie and I find it's use limited to very warm weather. If you are a fan of any of the Alfred Sung fragrances, this would be your thing. In fact, you could use the shower gel and lotion with pretty much any Alfred Sung. It's fairly light, not much sillage, it's a barely there sort of clean scent. I was interested in the salted pear and nectarine when I bought it but it's more an aquatic (water lily) than fruity scent. Not my favourite but that doesn't mean it's a bad fragrance. Just not for me.

The nectarine note is lovely if you can catch it. Unfortunately, the silage and longevity are almost non existent. It reminds me of Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Daze. They layer very nicely to amp up the peachy/nectarine note. The overall effect is a light airy bubbly peach.

i can smell nectarine and sea water so sharply. nothing special, but it can be good for hot summer days.

I just do not get the raves about this scent at all. There's nothing offensive about it but it's so faint I can barely smell anything. What little I can detect just smells like a very faint cucumber melon type scent. I've sprayed it on my skin as well as my clothes and I may as well be spraying scented water on myself. Perhaps I am simply anosmic to this one and other people are getting all these lovely notes?! The bottle is so pretty it's a shame. I can't justify hanging onto something that has no scent.

Wearing this today, I love the salted pear note, I feel this is fresh and sweet but not too sweet, I’ve been craving this scent so I pulled it out. Love it!

If Febreeze was something you’d wear. Not bad, just kinda weird only if you think about it.

Nothing special period. Not offensive but nothing special either
