No. 3 Musk

This has got to be my #1 favorite body mist IN THE WHOLE WORLD. Throw everything away and just get this-- If you love l'eau papier by dyptique, honey child BOO BOO, you're gonna appreciate this so much. I'm a huge fan. As you can tell by now. Borderline obsessed. Ok I'm definitely obsessed. To add: I just bought L'eau Papier in May - last month and my dent is denting... it's already halfway gone. This body mist I can spray without caution AND still enjoy my beloved l'eau papier by spraying 1 or 2 spritz on each side of my neck. I mean it's about 95% similar the only difference of course is L'eau Papier has a little bit of that oomph- you know that "oomph" right? That fancy je ne sais quoi thing. But still, at the end of the day , what we have here is nearly identical to L'eau Papier. No denying. I also got this thinking there's no way the lasting power is any good - was expecting 30 mins to 1 hour tops but it's been going on almost 3 hours and I am still getting a really nice scent bubble. It's amazing honestly. 👏

This might be my favorite B&BW scent- I have the body wash, lotion, and spray, and thankfully they are all consistent in scent. I don’t tend to reach for musks but this is changing my mind. I definitely smell the combo of musk, sesame, milk. I love that this is suitable for use year-round, any time of day, I even use it at bedtime. It doesn’t project a lot, but I don’t mind that this type of scent is more of a skin scent. I wasn’t familiar with Diptyque L’Eau Papier when I bought it. I went to smell it at Nordstrom and was so surprised they are almost exactly the same- Diptyque is just maybe a little sweeter. I think Diptyque is a little better but not worth owning both unless the projection bothers you, and the price difference makes me 100% stand by B&BW!

I just want to put it out there ... I love this scent, especially as a bedtime scent. It smells, to me, like a faint shadow of Rania J's Musc Moschus, which I am head over heels for. There is Musk plus a faint sweetness. Almost a "my skin, but better scent." I'm so reluctant to compare this to Glossier You, as GY is supposed to smell different on each individual. To me, Musk No. 3 smells like a cousin of GY with less pencil shavings scent. Musk 3 also smells more sweet than GY. Musk 3 also does not smell lactonic to me, but it seems creamy though! It is a BBW body mist, so there is a blast of alcohol for a few seconds. I have not tried If You Musk, but I am looking forward to comparing the two someday.

I did blind buy this one and I felt in love at the first spray. I’m a fan of L’eau papier and Not a Perfume. The top note has a vibe of papier. A musky scent, bit of sweet, and the hint of milk are mixed so well. The drydown is almost identical to JHAG. The minute difference is the milky hint in this bodymist that makes it more feminine and softer than JHAG. I dont expect too mcuh from its longevity but it lasts about 3 hours on my skin, which is pretty awesome for a bodymist. Definitely a must-try or safe blind buy for whom who love “my skin but better” scent.

I originally smelled the hand cream version of this with no knowledge or expectations prior. I knew this scent was special right away compared to other BBW products. It smells like a new pack of printer paper. Fresh, warm, clean, cloudy and a little sweet but far from cloying. I'd LOVE if they made this in a more concentrated format. I will definitely be checking out the og dupe for this, L'Eau Papier by Diptyque when I have the funds. It layers really well with Milk by Commodity and also reminds me of Kitten Fur by Demeter.

Musk No. 3 by BBW gives me the comforting sensation of smelling a brand new book. I feel I have pulled a scarf from a cedar chest and smell paper and book binding. Cedar is not listed as a note though. I had a bottle of Jergen’s Sandalwood lotion and Musk No. 3 shares the same vibe. I own the cream and the mist and love them both. I bought a back up of the mist as I do not want to be without Musk No. 3. I don’t know what the other perfumes it is compared to smell like, but if they smell like this, I would want to own them.

I think this is my all time favorite musk smell, if not my favorite fragrance in general to layer with. seriously though I find myself layering this on literally every fragrance I own and it always smells so good and I wish I bought more when they were on sale! like other bath and bodyworks fragrance however, it unfortunately doesn't have a lot of longevity. It would be really nice if this specific musk was made into a perfume because I would really love to smell like this for a lot longer!!

I absolutely adore this scent, it’s one of my favorites from B&BW, but I’m surprised not enough people are talking about the peppery notes in this. Maybe it’s just the mimosas notes on my skin chemistry that comes off as more peppery, but I find this has a very strong pink pepper twang to it that lasts forever. I don’t find a lot of milky notes unfortunately, it’s very much a more clean, soft, peppery musk with some soft florals.

This is what a 2000s mom running errands would smell like, it’s soft and comforting. I like wearing this with jlo glow as it smells heavenly together. It’s something that is quite nostalgic for simpler times. It has a lotion-y aspect to it, meditative and spa like. I’m so glad I have this in my collection ! <3 thanks bath and body works for this lil angel. Songs that would match this is Duvet by Bôa & breakaway by Kelly clarkson

To me this smells like Glossier You to the tee! Which is wonderful because I love that one as well. I always layer the 2 for a fantastic, long lasting result . I'm fairly certain B&BE is not currently carrying this scent, I sincerely hope they bring it back. I have a bottle and a half currently and about a half a bottle of the Glossier so I should be set for a minute as I don't wear it daily.

This is mostly just an aromachemical to my nose. I have the body wash and body cream and I have been forcing myself to use them so they don’t go to waste. The more time I spend with it, the more I do pick up the light sweetness of the rice and milk, but they are still buried under some synthetic musk I must be sensitive to.

I reviewed this a long time ago as just smelling chemical, I’ve completely changed my tune now and of course it’s discontinued. I’m still working through a body cream of this scent and it matches absolutely perfectly with my L’eau Papier. I wish they’d bring it back.

When I say I fell in love with this it’s an understatement, my instant signature from them 🙂↕️ it’s very clean, warm, fresh, and milky. It’s unisex in my opinion, this would smell good on ANYONE ✨

This is the closest I can find to my long-missed Rice Flower & Shea! I love it! This one has more of a musky undertone, but it’s still wonderful. I bought a backup which I never do lol

The power of TikTok... This smells just like L'eau Papier. I bought the body lotion because I just had to know, and they were right! Now I have a nice layering base for LP.

Why must bbw discontinue the most bomb ass body mists

Bought one because of the review saying it is an exact dupe of L'eau Papier: This does NOT smell identically to L'eau Papier. The opening is alcohol-y and synthetic, very off-putting, thankfully that goes away during the dry down. Compare the two side by side, you'd notice the paper note is much more prominent in LP while completely missing in Musk no 3. Overall, it is decent but don't expect it to smell exactly like L'eau Papier.

I adore anything with a rice, milk, and musk note and this one was no different! I wish it lasted longer and projected a little better, but it IS a body spray so I'm not super disappointed there. This layers beautifully with anything sweet that you're wanting to tone down a touch or anything with a musk, milk, or rice note :)

This is the closest of a dupe to LEau Papier I could find. About 70%. The rice and musk are there but the floral note and alcohol are more prominent in this one. Honestly not bad considering LP is quite expensive. This works. It may not be an exact dupe but it will not break the bank.

A really great plain musk! Love that it’s so cheap and smells more mature than the other B&BW fragrances. I like to layer it with my higher-end perfumes, but it’s also nice by itself.

I think this smells like Book Loft coming Fall 2025 in bodycare. It’s been out in candle, soap, wallflower, and pocketbac before.

This one smell a lot like Diptyque L'eau Papier and also stay longer on my skin than expected. 100% repurchase this one 🫶

fluffy, milky white musk. i was hoping for more rice but i mainly got the milk and musk accords. its nice!

I found a match made in heaven. I layer this with Oil perfumery flower by kenzo. Just amazing.

I went to Bath And Body Works after I purchased If You Musk and had to return it immediately. While I was there, I decided to spray this in my wrist because I had never seen this line before. I was BLOWN AWAY! This is unlike anything I have ever smelled! It smells so pure and angelic. It’s not the type of musk that you would imagine, not the clean and soapy direction at all. More like a milk tea with a nice dose of sugar, mimosa and cardamom. It’s really difficult to explain but it’s LOVELY! While browsing the reviews under the Bath and Body Works website, I read one that said that this spray smells exactly like DIPTYQUE L'Eau Papier Eau De Toilette. The woman said it smells EXACTLY LIKE IT. I have never smelled that perfume but I am saving to buy it blindly because I definitely need a concentrated version of this scent profile. LOVEEEEEEE THIS !! Update: I got a sample of Diptyque Papier and this body spray lasts longer. Just saying....

i wanted to love this so bad since the notes looked right up my alley but it's just giving really synthetic musk on the dry down T_T the opening is super sweet and creamy but it dries down quickly and as it does dry down it just keeps getting less sweet and milky and more synthetic and scratchy. it almost burns my nose with how chemically it smells. i'm gonna keep using this and see if it grows on me but this was personally a major let down :'(

Very weak scent, just like Indigo Dreams was very faint, happens with these simple musk-based skin scents that happen to be my favorite genre. Rice milk here as nice as in kenzo amour only much lighter and not like play-doh (no heliotrope here), and also this lacks the rich powdery sweetness and the balsamic character of that one (no cherry blossom, incense, vanilla here). It is more simple and so a lot more fresh as a scent, not overly sweet which is not a bad thing at all as Amour can make me dizzy. This fragrance, like the Lavender one, deserved an actual name that describes a feeling, this would be "pure and clean". If it was bolder and stronger it'd be a much lighter fresher cousin to Amour. Its opening is kinda waxy as the milk accord can be, paired with the animalic musk. It is also nutty and slightly earthy from the rice which makes the musk even more aromatic, what a beautiful calming combination, and this is the main scent that remains on my skin. There is a herbal and intense woody nuance from the mimosa right away which is remarkably a woody sweet note and slightly powdery. The mimosa adds a sunny, floral powdery sweetness but it's very subtle. Wearing both to compare, this is also not balsamic unlike Amour. I wish its notes were more potent. It is also very woody to my nose like stale pencil shavings at first, so how mimosa translates on my skin. Its most alluring part is the lactonic, waxy and earthy nutty scent of the rice which becomes part of your skin with the musk and a mild, sweet woody feel. Maybe some heliotrope would help amplify the nutty vibe and powdery element, but I am not crazy about heliotrope so it's fine. The woody part almost like pencil shavings is what I don't like much as it smells slightly stale like the perfumes that go bad, but it's mainly prominent the first 10-15 mins and then it fades leaving only the subtle woody solar sweetness of the mimosa. Again performance is so weak, and does not project much. Update: DUA's Water Paper is similar to this, but stronger for the Diptyque L'Eau Papier, and the mimosa is a bit more stale in that one. When my bottle broke in transit stuffed in my container to Greece from the US, the whole trailer smelled like it and it reminded me of bbw Kaleidoscope which I prefer. Bbw's No3. Musk is better imo than Water Paper and the Diptyque one because of the rice milk note and the lack of additional woody notes. Also the sesame in these becomes sour on me. I prefer rice milk over rice steam. It's less harsh imo more nutty. The musk with the stale mimosa make them smell animalic and kinda watery btw and I like the watery sensation.

I blind bought this one, and man was I pleasantly surprised!!! 😲 Absolutely gorgeous scent, I was hocked from first sniff. This is a clean scent with just a tiny bit of sweetness which makes it gorgeous for the spring and summer weather. I agree I think this would make a great layering combo with milk by commodity. But make no mistakes, these are different scents but equally beautiful 😍😍 Love it!!

I personally think this is like an 80% dupe of l’eau papier, leau papier is definitely more creamy and woody. To me this is definitely more fresh and sharp in a way? I hope they bring this back somehow as it would be soo nice to layer with leau papier for some added longevity/projection.

I fell in love with this! The musk is so intoxicating. Its molecular and transparent but also pillowy and fluffy. When I spray this, I envision things like Angels, Doves, and Swans! Just delicate and beautiful

Very irritating thing. They come up with awsome things then, by the time you find out about it, they discontinue them. I would sue them if i could. Same with if you musk. Is BBW mocking us or smth?

Not exact but very very close to Leau Papier. Wish I stocked up, not sure why they pulled it so quickly one of the few good fragrances BBW makes. Much more affordable alternative to Dyptique.

I don't love it but I don't hate it either. It smells exactly like the notes and reminds me of "warm freedom" by Zara. It's nice to wear when you're not in the mood to smell perfumey.

Gorgeous, warm and addictive. Imagine a bunch of freshly sharpen pencils got run through the dish washer and there's hot wood steam in the air. But still a natural light sweetness. 😄

I tried to smell this and like this every time I go into a BBW, (which is a lot), and it smells like absolutely Nada! Nothing!

I haven’t loved anything from bath and body in a while but this is a huge love for me! Clean and musky and very universal!
