A previous reviewer wrote his trick on picking up women. Not angry at all, I gave my 17 year old son that same advice when he asked where to meet girls, at the Macy's beauty department. Tons of teenage girls seeking out products they likely won't be able to afford until after college. After that its all trial and error guys, even the best looking men get quite a few NO'S mixed in with those YES'. It's not a meat market after all, expect rejection. That being said, I'm not crazy about this cologne or aqua noted fragrances in general. It is perfect for a 17 year old though. Never spend more than $30 on a cologne for someone under 21, their taste changes as easily as their minds. Remember? Besides, I find perfume giving extremely personal, and it can take years before you find your signature. I did for me. Finding something that suits someone else can prove to be even more difficult. Unless you really know someones tastes, don't splurge on $100+ bottle. If your groove is aquatic scented perfumes this one isn't bad for the price. You can load it on without really offending the people around you. It's clean scented and a bit more cypress is present than you would expect, and vetiver in the dry down stage. For me there is something missing. Can it be SALT? IDK, that's what I'd expect to get from a cologne called Ocean. All and all it's a nice fresh scent for a young teenage body. It is far from having a "manly" smell. Very safe though. Spray away boys.

I know this was made for men to wear, but I love it so much that I bought it for myself in the past after a friend wore it. I think it had a very relaxed and soothing scent. For my nose, the first sprays of this are like a reset, and though I don't have experience with a lot of colognes and such I really adored the crisp ozonic and clear water notes. It's fresh and it makes me feel like I got done showering, in a way. It reminds me of when I was younger and my dad would make me use his body wash since he didn't know what body wash to pick out for me. I'm pretty in touch with both my feminine and tomboy side I'd say, and this is definitely a scent that makes me feel comfortable, and very me!.

good decently prices fragrance with good performance considering the EDC concentration. originally bought graphite and it was pretty good but this is a whole new level. graphite was synthetic, this feels more natural. this smells like being in the woods on a warm summer day, with a beach nearby, right after it rained. and someone sitting next to you is eating a coconut. good masculine fresh frag, lasts a decent amount of time. i am convinced that most people who get bad performance on this are spraying it in the wrong places or have bad skin chemistry.

If you like citrus/bergamot this will definitely be a great option. Fresh, aquatic, slightly floral and a decently woody base. I wouldn't say this is the most sophisticated scent, but out of the B&BW frags this is definitely one of their best. If you're a fan of the fresh, oceanic/marine vibe this will definitely sit well with you. Not the best performer but lasts around 4-6 hours on me. I am a fan of citrus and aquatic based scents, so for the price, this is a win in my book. Overall: 9/10 Value: 9.5/10

I really enjoy this, it’s clean, fresh, breezy.. the mineral & calone blend so nicely. I remember ‘costal air’ being a note but not listed here, & that’s exactly what you get. The vetiver is among the nicest I’ve ever smelled. It’s not pungent, soapy nor earthy.. it’s a wisp of cypress & cool ocean air. I had the early oval style bottle years ago & didn’t like it, these newer batches are much more refined.

I've owned my bottle for about 4 years now. It started out a great, fresh scent but never lasted long. Pulled it out from the back of my fragrance cabinet, ( way back there ) and this stuff has gotten much stronger, lasts about 8 hours now. My coworkers always comment on how fresh and clean I smell.

There are two vibes in this scent: rich vibe and young vibe. Its performance is not going to make you happy but the smell is amazing. You will feel good wearing it. And attract girls, because it is fresh and sweet at the same time. I would buy it if I was under 25.

Very fresh, it gives me Versace Pour Homme vibes and I'm fine with that. Cheap and versatile blue fragrance for the summer time. One down side is that it doesn't last long, right around 2 hours for me.

The fragrance has some small but noticeable opening to dry-down change, the opening is very sharp, intense, the notes are clear and projects, but as time passes, this sharpness dissipates leaving notes that are rounder and smoother, as if they would be affected by a powdery note such as violet, also, the fragrance drops from a moderate projection to low. Once Bath & Body Works Ocean Cologne Men EDT has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a soft projection, ozonic (cucumber-like), aquatic (waterfalls), woody, and green fragrance. The fragrance feels airy, breezy, casual, clean, common, delicate, diluted, diurnal, faint, fresh, green (vetiver and cucumber-like), light, marine, refreshing, relaxing, short-lived, sporty, ultra-fresh, unisex, weak, white, woody, and pleasant. I had this for a while. Fresh kind of creamy aquatic smell. Yes, it is generic (or pleasingly familiar). This is not a bad thing for me. I use it for out the shower and after the gym spray on. Is this worth having??? Definitely, but I would say do not pay full price. There is always someone on eBay almost giving it away for less than $25 USD. Application: With Bed Bath & Body Works you should be using the entire range of that particular fragrance (wash, lotion, spray, & cologne). Just though I note that. It is supposed to be "an experience". Lol. For most guys, we just use the cologne. Unless, someone bought us the entire set. Bottom line: If you have just the cologne, you have to use this line's men fragrances like a body spray. Spray it everywhere. The performance will not be a beast but much better. Don't be surprised if these kind of fragrances get you more compliments from the ladies than your niche and more expensive bottles. REMEMBER, women live in these kinds of stores for a reason. Stores like this know what women like; they study it. Look in their stores; it full with women all the time. Lol 6.5/10, if purchase under $25.

This was the first cologne I ever owned. I got a B&BW gift card for Christmas when I was 14 and got this with it. It's the most simple fresh aquatic you can imagine. It's affordable and pretty universally likable. I'm past this phase of my life now, but I would recommend to any teenage boys that are tired of smelling like body odor. Or just anyone who wants to smell good on a budget with little effort.

When I was a 12 year old young trans guy I had the urge to stop smelling bad and start taking care of myself. My mom took me to Bath and Body Works and she tested all of the men's fragrances. She settled on this one as being suitable for a young chap. It smells good, but I now associate it with social anxiety and custody battles.

Agree with others, I sprayed this on a hat before a hike, and I kept second guessing myself whenever I got whiffs, thinking it was a (cheaper, more synthetic) Versace Pour Homme. I’d still recommend this as it’s light, fresh, and inexpensive, but prefer Versace’s version as it lasts longer and has a stronger sillage.

It's a pretty basic blue fragrance, very fresh, slightly sweet, and doesn't last a long while, I get around 4 hours on my skin, with about 2 feet projection and basic performance. Overall a pretty decent fragrance, dont get me wrong it smells super good as a freshie, but for 60 CAD I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Safest masc aquatic scent you could buy. I like it, but there's nothing really standout about it. I get a lot of the fresh-spicy notes from it, almost more so than the aquatic notes. Good fresh fragrance I like as an after shower lotion.

Super fresh, very weak thought only lasted a few hours then it would be gone. But you can wear this to the gym since it's not that expensive and you wont offend anyone. Smell-5/10 Performance-3/10 Versatility-5/10 Overall Rating-4.5/10

Smells close to a shampoo I tried once, I think one of the Head&Shoulders. Seriously. & it is actually not a bad smell. Clean & fresh. Poor lasting power though, doesn't justify the price.

I thought this was a watered (no pun intended) down version of Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme. Similar combination of floral and aquatic (sea) notes. Works better as a shower gel in high heat.

Fairly nice. Tried as a sample at the store but I may get my own bottle. Good for an “around the house” freshie. Plus my wife said it was always her favorite when she worked there.

Need to give hot selection extra pumps if you want her to stay with you the whole day. if not, she'll run off on you into the wind.

A good frag if you need something quick to throw on. I got it on sale for $35. Worth about that price. I would not pay retail.

Base Note Ambroxan for sure. I find it to be linear until it gets there.

I just received this fragrance yesterday as a gift for my birthday. It is extremely inoffensive, possibly too inoffensive. I personally like something a bit more rich and sophisticated. I would recommend this to be worn in extremely casual situations, such as chilling with a friend, or even by yourself. There is nothing spectacular about it, yet it is not bad at all. I would rate it a 5.8/10. Probably will not reinvest, but will enjoy the bottle I was given. It almost reminds me of Davidoff Cool Water.

Just another generic fresh and aquatic shower gel scent. Not saying that's a bad thing though. Needs like 10 sprays to project... Doesn't last long either. A good option if you wanna smell clean, apart from smelling like you just took a shower (which I hope you all do!), and for cheap as well! 6/10.

Fresh and cheap, eau frache, lotions, or sanitizer are the way to go for this fragrance. It projects mildly when first applied but as soon as its on its gone. BBW has better fragrances, this is plain and generic and no one will comment beyond you not smelling unclean or dirty. Meh

Cypress, calone, and cool ocean air. Easy aquatic for men. Not my thing and I'm glad my husband doesn't like it. I would rather he wear something else. But for those on a budget this is a decent aquatic ocean fragrance.

It goes from one of the most pleasant openings you'll find on a cheap sporty fragrance to having absolutely no smell at all within half an hour. I wouldn't waste my money on this one.

Scent: 6.5/10 - Smells pleasant enough. Fresh, clean, ozonic. Longevity: 1/10 - Even with 8 sprays it completely fades in about an hour. Projection: 3/10 - Gotta get pretty close to someone for them to be able to detect it on you. It’s an “oh, you smell fresh” after hugging someone type scent. Uniqueness: 3/10 - Smells like many other cheap no-name aquatics/freshies out there. Versatility: 6/10 - Good for summer days and gym sessions. Mass Appeal: 8/10 - Very inoffensive. Can’t imagine anyone straight-up disliking the scent. Overall: 4.6/10 - It’s good if you wanna douse yourself before a workout, but for only a few more bucks you could get something with way better performance from a rack store.

It smells really synthetic, I smelled some in the store, and it smelled very nice, it smelled of citrus and calone. I really enjoyed it in the store. In person, it smells almost exactly like sunscreen, I may have gotten a bad batch, but as is I still hate it. Also the sillage is terrible, I can't smell it immediately after spraying it directly on my arm unless I hold my arm less than a foot away from my face.

Can't really go wrong with this scentwise, but the performance is just so minimal. I also hate the atomizers on B&BW current bottles, so you have to spray double the amount of times to get the same amount of juice as the average designer atomizer. A big plus for this, however, is the price and ease of purchase. Any backwater town has a B&BW nearby and even a teen with their chore allowance can afford this. I personally think this smells the most similar to Versace Pour Homme, which I think is the smarter purchase option. It has the same scent dna, better projection, better longevity, and you can get it for a great price if you go on discounters and get a tester (I personally recommend the full presentation to get the cap). Ultimately, it smells nice and inoffensive, but the Versace would be the better option all around without breaking the bank (if you don't buy retail price).

I quite like this. I have both Ocean and Freshwater, and they are definitely siblings (Freshwater notably having a big, juicy Bergamot opening and is the sweeter of the two).This definitely strikes the right chord with me, it is a well-balanced woody and watery cologne. It leans ever so slightly on the masculine side with a touch of a musky-mossy on the drydown, but remains soft and unobtrusive opening to end. I often pick this one when I'm sick of everything in my cabinet and need to reset (I'm female, and often get overwhelmed by florals and fruits). This has moderate verging on strong sillage and lasting power. Highly recommended, and it's a good value.

Got the aerosol version, first impression is the scent is light, aquatic and work with sweat very well, still not recommended using fragrance of anykind when you smell like a rotten fish. The scent profile is quite minimal as the drydown is quick and topnote is fleeting: airy apple, watermelon drydown to semi salty musk. Recommend this over nautica voyage as it's is more balance. No resemblances to Versace Pour homme tho, no citrus or floral here. Lowkey, clean and relaxed, I believe this is for casual, light colored clothing young man during summer time.

Just came from the store and sprayed the body spray on my hand. I let it dry before I took my first sniff. This triggered a few memories in my head, I know what this smells like, and it makes sense that it does. Anyone remember Nautica's Voyage? Well that's what this is. I'm excide to try it come payday.

Ocean reminds me of Unbound for Men, as it boasts an enormous tomato leaf accord off the top, almost identical to the Halston. From there it fizzes into a salty, iodine-tinged melon scent with powdery aquatic elements. It's yet another in an endless sea of "blue" frags, no better or worse than most.

Agree that this has one of the best openings of any inexpensive aquatic freshies, but short-lived. I thought I was spraying on Bleu de Chanel with the opening. Smells great on the skin for a while. For a while. Improve the performance and they'll have something.

Immediate skin scent and can't smell anything after a couple hours. Smells good for as long as you can smell it. I am sampling in the winter, so maybe it would do better in summer or at the gym. Not even worth the price tag for me.

Not a powerhouse scent by any means but it smells great! I think bath and body works is a great store to help you break into the world of fragrances because they have an entry level scent of all kinds
