On The Horizon

I REALLY like this one. I don't love it, but a VERY strong like. I wish there was an option in between love and like. But, I am a little weird with the scents I enjoy. I love a good musk, and I feel like this definitely leans into it. Even though I did vote it as Unisex, I would say that to most people, this will smell like a cologne. I feel like this is not for day to day wear, unless you are masc leaning. I love it for certain events where I want to bring attention to myself, or if I want to be a little more masc for the night, but day to day I wouldn't wear this. The aqua scents really come through as I am smelling it, and I really like the musk. I haven't wore it recently, so I can't comment on the dry down. But from memory, I remember enjoying it a lot. Definitely not for everyone, but if you enjoy the notes, I would grab it! 7/10 for me!

This fragrance makes me think of being on the water on a warm, bright sunny day. Standing on a boat with refreshing salt water breeze blowing through your hair. I feel like I'd be wearing this with a navy blue and white striped shirt, a long white skirt and an elegant bracelet. A fresh water scent with a bright citrus note, not sweet. It's got some floral in it too that blends very nicely with the fresh aspect of this. The more I smell this the more I like it. It makes me feel uplifted. This fragrance really shines in warm weather. I recommend decanting some of this in a small travel bottle if you want to be surrounded by this set all day.

Nice freshie. Guys can easily rock this. I haven’t smelled MM Sailing Day yet so I wouldn’t know how close it is. However, it does smell like a mix of Davidoff Cool Water for Women and Lanvin Eclat D’Arpege for Men to me. It is aquatic mixed with bright florals and a little sweet juicy citrus.

I want to swim in THE BOTTLE like YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND I want to shower inside it I WANT TO MARINATE MEYSELF IN ITTTT only if it had better longevity UGH BBW PLSSSSS DO SOMETHING!!!!!! I love ma body sprays fresh especially in summer and she's just perfect she's like ocean but better

This smells almost identical to Ocean Di Gioia to me! It’s an almost sweet aquatic scent. It smells like a siren in the ocean.

On the opening spray, you are greeted with the scent of bergamot and water, accompanied by hints of moss in the background. Initially, the spray does have a noticeable alcohol scent, but this dissipates after about 30 seconds. Once the alcohol evaporates, subtle wood notes start to emerge, blending with the opening scents. To compare it with Sailing Day, I brought out my sample of the original. After the initial alcohol scent fades, On the Horizon becomes quite similar to Sailing Day. The primary difference is that "On the Horizon" has a more masculine profile, as it is less floral in the opening notes compared to the original. But by doing this it is also less complex and much more linear compared to Sailing Day. After the initial spray, On the Horizon dries down to a soapy, clean, masculine body wash aroma very similar to Sailing Day. This body spray lasts about two hours on my skin before I need to reapply, which is quite reasonable for a body spray from B&BW.

It opens with a bright lemon zest note & closes as a sweet, light aquatic skin scent. It’s very pretty, but unfortunately the performance is not great. I am unimpressed as some others in the line are heavy hitters such as pink obsessed & covered in roses. If it were stronger, it could be a 10/10 . Also, if I had to compare it to another B&BW scent; it’d be midnight swim. It’s a darker, unisex humid type aquatic to me. Waterlily springs is floral, feminine & brighter. Endless sea also has bergamot I believe, but although that one smells more body spray - ish, it’s projection & longevity beat on the horizon by a long shot. As I like to mention, I am still very grateful for this scent and by no means is it bad. Every scent has a place and a time to be worn, if you want something light & fresh this is for you.

Yea I wasn’t thrilled with this when I got it then temps hit 95F and I had a new perspective. Sweet scents literally make my stomach turn but this is perfect. Fresh and aquatic. Smells kind of unisex leaning masculine but I have no problems rocking this. Pretty good staying power. Dare I say it’s pretty strong to be honest. Like the perfect summer white t shirt jean shorts vibe.

I LOVED this. Sprayed it all the time. Then I became sensitized to That Chemical. Now I hate the drydown on my arm, because it's That Chemical and it stays and stays. (Edited: in this case I think the chemical I got tired of was an artificial woodsy scent.) And I hate it. At least I used a lot of it back when I loved it. Use your things up! You might not love them later.

Picked this up to add some variety to my collection. I don't smell driftwood, whatever that smells like. For me it's mostly the water notes and bergamot. Doesn't last super long. Weak sillage. Nice for wearing to the beach in the summer when it's windy and warm but not too hot. Unisex. Layers very well with Pink Obsessed from the same line or Donna Born in Roma. 6.5/10

at first, i definitely repelled from this scent given how musky & masculine it is. however, i've grown to love it & it's woody notes and this has been very fresh to me! just wished it lasted long, only lasts at most 30 minutes on me :/

it starts off smelling very aquatic with a touch of green, which reminds me more of a mens cologne or a tommy hillfiger store. however it starts drying down into a beautiful, fresh floral that's perfect for the beach or a pool day.

A generic marine scent, but if you're looking for something like that it absolutely fits the bill. I think this would be great for layering, also. Lots of freshness here. Great for applying after a shower.

Leans unisex if not a little bit masculine. Much less linear than most BBW mists. Me personally I like it.

Wore this many many times and it just got old. It’s nice, citrusy and watery, but it was boring. I really didn’t get any woodsy notes to be honest, and I never thought it was too masculine. I’d say it’s very unisex. I will say, it’s great for a bath & bodyworks scent! However I wouldn’t bother buying it at full price. For the cost of the whole bottle you can get a better dupe perfume from scent houses like Oakcha. On sale though— why not? Go for it!

I have this and Aqua Hour and the prefer the latter. On the Horizon is just way too intense in a not so pleasant way. It really has that strong chemical note that doesn't go away even after drying down and it gave me a headache. Also I feel that this leans more masculine. Aqua Hour is a soft, more palatable scent to me as someone who loves marine notes.

Hmmm...I thought I could pull it off as a female but to my nose, it smells like a masculine scent so this will be rehomed to my brother. It's definitely fresh, smells really aquatic but I don't think I can pull it off. At most, it is unisex ➡️ masculine, leaning more on the masculine side.

this smells like every cheap ”ocean” scented body product, weirdly sweet and melony.

do me a favor. Please smell this next to the itchy scalp head & shoulders. IDENTICAL! This is a good scent if you have an itchy scalp.

It's definitely a body mist that I'm using lately, and I ultimately bought it due to a last-minute decision by the BBW staff during the mid-year duck sale. Definitely a slightly safe option but not so because of the woody and strong aquatic note, but nevertheless I've used this body mist every day, and it's quite long-lasting. I have owned quite a few of fresh fragrances like Versace Pour Homme, but this body mist leans towards more to a stronger, fresher as well as a masculine edge to it. If I had to say, this body mist would be one of the strongest out of the freshies, just because it is a body mist, and the longevity and silage are quite long and a bit strong. Right now, the bottle's almost over and it will run out over the next few months. I hope to see even more fresh-leaned fragrances by BBW in the future, or buy existing fresh fragrances by them which some of them are almost exclusively marketed to men.
